I called for a service call because my heat exchanger wasn't powering on. I had replaced the start capacitor and it had seemed not to fix the issue. They came out that same afternoon because a technician was already in Rosamond. They had found my issue quickly because I hadn't reinstalled the electrical cutoff correctly. They checked everything else out and gave me a clean bill of health. $75 for the quick service call. read more

Our AC decided to shut off the middle of the night. My husband called J.L.C Air this morning and was able to get someone here. Scheduled time was between 12-4 but the technician got here early which was great. Technician name was Ezra, very nice and professional, even though the fix for the AC was simple, he also checked our AC to make sure everything was in proper order. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again if our AC goes out. read more

Called JLC and they sent Gio out - he fixed it in about 15 minutes! Also confirmed ducting was perfectly fine. Very pilot and knowledgeable young man, will definitely go with JLC in the future. read more

We have always used JLC for the properties my boss owns. But things have changed over there and I will never call them again. 1. Called JLC for a fix to an a/c. They quoted us a new one. We called another company and had the bad valve changed. A/C works great. 2. Called JLC to clean ducts for another unit in the same commercial building and waited, and waited and waited (and emailed and called) for the quote, FINALLY, a nice gal called me back and said they declined the job because the machine was not powerful enough to remove the debris (feathers). I understand the reason. I'm fine with the reason. Thank you for not charging us to not do the job professionally. BUT you wasted 4 days of our time. Our tenants are baking in this heat and you didn't think it was relevant to tell us on day 1 that you could not handle the job?! You couldn't tell us on day 2, 3 or 4??? Instead I had to call and beg for information!! I know, I know, it was my fault. I wanted to use a local business (I previously trusted). Live and Learn. Take it from me, if you previously used this company, rethink it. It is not the same company. Edited to add: Hey Cliff! Yes, I used bad words, I was leaving a message for you! You left me hanging for a quote YOU NEVER INTENDED TO PROVIDE!!!!! Glad you got the message. read more

$85 service call charge. Free consultation only if buying a new unit. This information is not false, I called your company and this is what I was told by whoever answers your phone. Clifford S. The service fee is $75.00 if you live locally however you live about 45 minutes away. If you want an estimate to replace your equipment it is free of charge, if you want our technician to troubleshoot your system to let you know what needs to be repaired that is a service fee. I hope this clarifies the misunderstanding. Thank you read more

Can I give more stars please?!???! This company is amazing!!!! They helped me with my heater. They are HONEST and RELIABLE! Nice tech came to my house and checked my furnace. He told me what the problem could be but he wanted to exhaust all options before giving me an estimate on how much it would cost me to replace what he thought was the problem. A few days later the tech returned to make sure things were okay. Furnace was on and off and explored other options and those options worked! He was so worried about my heater not working since it was one of the coldest days we've had this year. I'm so grateful for all in this company and services. I'd recommend in a heartbeat! Thank you!!!! read more

Highly recommend. For 6 years we have only been able to raise our heater temp by 2 degrees at a time (turns out it was 6 minutes). We have had 2 other companies out to diagnose with no luck. We called JLC for a different issue, and Josh, the HVAC tech who came out and promptly diagnosed and fixed our current issue, took the time to investigate the overheat, and it turned out the gas valve was just turned up too high. 6 years. 2 other companies. Worth every penny of the service fee!!! Don't hesitate to call JLC, it's a real family company. Excellent customer service. read more

i'm in the middle of the desert in the hottest time and my air conditioning went out. Sounds like a horror story but this is true. JLC came to the rescue. i had called several places and they didn't come out to Lake LA. We had used them before but it was 20 years ago. they were friendly and efficient. From the really nice lady who answered the phone to Michael the technician who showed up on my door less then 24 hours after my call. He took pictures of what was wrong explained how he was going to fix it and got our permission before doing anything. We were expecting to pay a few thousand dollars at the least and a new air conditioner at the most. Michael found the faulty wire the i sealed unit and some ladder thing was all we needed. So for a few hundred dallies instead we are now sitting in a nice cool house. i appreciate the professionalism and timely response. i will defiantly recommend them to friends in the area. read more

JLC Air responded to my initial review stating that "We are an honest company and recommend a new system due to poor condition and age, putting 850 dollars into an old system doesn't make sense unless he wanted a band aid and doesn't care about his tenants and how much money it costs them in electricity bills! " But this is just another false! its been more then a year and the "band aid" still works great proving that JLC Air only was trying to rip me off by suggesting that the only way is to get a new system! Dont trust them! read more

JLC recently replaced my much too small ac unit, furnace and ducting for my home and what a difference! For the past 5 years , I have dealt with different temperatures in each room , let alone sky rocketing summer bills (even with solar) I can already feel the difference and can't wait to finally sleep upstairs comfortably during the summertime. And, their hard working employees finished the job in 1 day. Please give them a call if you're in need of service! read more

I need to update my previous 5-star review for JLC Air. We were extremely happy that they fit us into their schedule and came out to fix our a/c, which had gone out five times in as many months. Their work only lasted about 40 hrs. We had no a/c again, and being a holiday weekend, they would not come again until after the holiday. Our house reached 90 degrees with 11 fans running. Hot air is hot air. Extremely uncomfortable. Someone else did come to repair our a/c and addressed other issues, as well. When I phoned JLC Air to cancel their Tuesday morning phone call, she said, "Okay, oh! You did get it fixed?" I said, "Yes, the house was 90 and someone else was willing to come and address our issue." She said, "Well, call us the next time your a/c goes out and we'll help you." I said, "We did call you, and you wouldn't help us, but someone else did." She, again, re-iterated, "No, but next time it goes out". I said, "No, I've scratched you off my list for good, but God Bless you anyway." We are having a new unit installed by another company. read more
