Had our A/C go out right before 4th of July. It is a fairly new unit, within the past 10 years. Being it was an extremely HOT day here in Lancaster, CA i contacted a High School friend of mine to see if THEY use anyone that is good and reputable in the AV Valley. Friend replied back that they use AV Action Air, have for YEARS and they have NEVER had a problem. They've ALWAYS been taken care of professionally with the highest degree of Quality. We decided to give them a try. Called up, the next day McGuire came over to diagnose the unit. Found that the compressor went south, and some of the wires were BURNED as well. We scheduled and appointment with them to have a new compressor installed, wiring replaced and new refrigerant put in as well. Luke and Jose (I hope that is correct) were the two of the FINEST technicians anyone could ever ask for. They worked feverishly, got the kinks out, put QUALITY ahead of actions and got it working beautifully! It was amazing that there is STILL SOMEONE that takes Quality seriously!! We had a new HVAC installed last July. The company that installed it has gone out of business. We tried to start our air conditioner without any success. We called two AC companies to do a service call. The first told us they couldn't help us. The second said it would take up to three weeks to get the parts and increased their estimate. We called AV Action Air and Brandon came out the same day. He had to order a part which took 5 days to get. Today, he completed the work and found that it was a manufactured error with wiring. My husband said that he was inside of the air conditioner frame where he discovered this problem. He did not have to use the part he had ordered. I moved into a home with two units that were original to the home so approx. 35 years old. I had Luke come out and give estimates over a year ago for replacement as I was having issues with them. Took me awhile to get things together to have them done but he was able to honor the original estimate and I am extremely happy with the new units. A+ service and highly recommend to all! We own a flower shop and our cooler stopped chilling the product. Called AV Action air, they were out the next morning, within an hour had the cooler operating. Brandon while working on the cooler asked how old the cooler was and thought it might be under warranty since it was only not quite 3 years old. With this summer heat, A/C unit needed to be looked at, at first I called who was to be the best A/ C repair company, $80.00 service charge long story short to repair unit approximately $3000.00 to replace $7000.00. Got second opinion from AV ACTION AIR, were at my home promptly, young man ask what our diagnosis was, went on roof checked out vidals on unit , said everything was fine with unit. Service tech asked if he could see furnace within a minute located what he thought was the problem, explained my options, it was a part that was valued probably under $40.00 that really was not necessary to be in unit. $80.00 service charge A/C unit works perfectly. Words cannot describe the professionalism and absolute care in which Luke runs the company. Our air went out Sunday, I called and he actually called back, not many would, not that I called anyone else he fixed our heater in December. Right then and there I knew he ran an honest company, his people are very curtious. Today the tech came out we had several things wrong, but they fixed it at a reasonable price, the tech explained everything, I was beyond impressed. The cold air was very unevenly distributed between the units in the office building I work at. The building owner called AV Action Air to help us out when the AC finally stopped working all together. This was in 90+ degree weather and also happened during our busiest time of year. 3 stressed out busy women in a small cement sweat box was a surefire way to create a modern-day Lord of the Flies situation to say the least. So I would like to give a shout-out to these guys for their hard work. Brandon and Blake were extremely informative, polite and respectful of the fact that we were working. They explained everything to us thoroughly, arrived when they said they would and cleaned up well when finished. Brandon even stopped back by a few days after the work was completed just to see how the air was working and make sure we were satisfied with the outcome. The company I am with is extremely customer service oriented so it was very refreshing and reassuring to receive the same level of service from these guys that I strive to give my customers. Excellence is an understatement! I could not be happier with the service and level of professionalism from Luke and his technician, Jesse. I called early afternoon, received a call back within an hour and had my a/c fixed by 6:30pm; and on one of the hottest days of the year, so you know they were crazy busy! After calling about 10 other companies, they were the only ones who actually listened to me and trusted that I knew what I was talking about. Av action air, lol.. The owner called me back after two hours and talked his way out of a job before assessing it, simple vaccum procedure needed on a brand new mini split a/c, this guy argued that he's not going to perform the job because it would only be 80.00. Wow! Didn't know he thought his business deserved the going rate per hour for a lawyer at 80.00, but I was still willing to pay he said the work is beneath his team and I find on here somewhere that another customer only paid 80.00 for his service tech to do diagnostics and I'm pissed that they would go above and beyond for someone elses 80.00, but I cannot get a simple vacuum on my system, which is easy peasy!, what my money isn't good enough? I give this place -5 stars if it was allowed!, owner is not pleasant and very quick to insult me, they must have given deals to others for good reviews, because they are very rude to an average caller. Looks like they don't want any business as my a/c unit is a week old and its a Mitsubishi, can't get a better unit! So enjoy this review AV non action, serves you guys right! read more
