I recently hired Tobi's Chimney Repair and Cleaning to install two chimney caps and sweep both of my chimneys, and I couldn't be happier with the service. Tobi was efficient, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable about chimney maintenance and repair. He explained the work that needed to be done and he and his assistant Daniel completed everything in a timely manner and left the area clean when they were finished. It's refreshing to work with someone who is both skilled and dependable. I highly recommend Tobi's Chimney Repair and Cleaning for anyone needing chimney service. read more

He is amazing. His company is awesome. They keep in communication with you and the day of service he texts and give an eta on their arrival. They are super friendly and they instantly put me at ease. They are very knowledgeable and clearly explains things completely. I was shocked at how clean they left my house. I am so very happy with the service I received. I would recommend this company to everyone you won't be sorry. I can't wait for the weather to change so I can use my fireplace. JoAnn B. read more

Great service, very informative, and I will definitely use Tobi's Chimney again. We burn a lot of wood in the winter season and I like to have our chimney cleaned every 2 years. Tobi came and ran a camera up the whole thing, which gives me a lot of confidence that my chimney is safe. He also cleaned the chimney very thoroughly. And he inspected the chimney from the rooftop, and fortunately I came away with no serious repairs needed. I would trust Tobi with my chimney at a Motel 6. read more

Tobi’s Chimney Service - Tobi says these are not the best because they blow off easily. I screwed this one in pretty tight so it stays put. - Chimney Sweeps Near Me

Tobi is fantastic and helped replace and install two stainless steel chimney flute covers on my two story house, which is very difficult to do. He carefully went up there without breaking our cement roof tiles, took a ton of photos and videos for us, and provided a lifetime warranty on the flute covers. It was very difficult to find the right person and I was glad to find Tobi through a friend. He serviced our house in Long Beach so although the Yelp page says Corona, he will cover a large area of OC and LA! read more

Tobi is fast, good quality work, and all with a super reasonable price. We compared a few chimney services and Tobi stood out as the best from a pricing standpoint and he only gave us what we need versus upsetting anything we don't need since we don't plan on using the fireplace. Super pleased with the quick job he did to fix up the mortar and replace our chase. Don't hesitate to ever give him a call! read more

My spark arrestor had blown off my chimney, and it was obviously not put on correctly (and was the wrong shape/type for my chimney). The chimney had also leaked in previous years and was sealed so it's not leaking right now, but I know the chimney needs work. Tobi was nice enough to come out the same day to replace the spark arrestor (at a similar price to another quote) and to check out my chimney to tell me what needs to be done. Apparently, my chimney is too short (and, come to think of it, it does look pretty short). It is also falling apart (not to my surprise). Tobi is very nice, very knowledgeable, and explained everything in detail. What more could you ask for. I need to redo my chimney, and the price seems reasonable, so I will likely hire him for that. However, I'm having other work done to my house right now which limited access to the fireplace, so this has to wait. read more

Great to work with - personable - knowledgeable - - good communication - did the job well & all was clean when they left.

Super knowledgeable and easy to work with. Very safety oriented and making sure I understand all aspects of the installation.

A leak on the exterior of my chimney gave me a scare as I thought water is leaking down the chimney and eating through the wall, so reached out to Yelp. Although Tobi is super far away from us, he answered the job request and took the time to answer the many, many questions I had and tried to diagnose from my photos and gave me a lot of professional advice. I didn't end up hiring Tobi at this time as we never use our fireplace and just want to do leak prevention, but if ever we change our mind Tobi would be the first person we call to vet and maintain our fireplace and chimney for his professionalism and great work ethic. Thanks Tobi! read more

We had heavy rains in November/December here in SoCal and we heard a water dripping sound in one of our bedroom's closet on the other side of the chimney. We were concerned that water might be coming in through the chimney. I initially contacted another chimney company and was referred to Tobi's Chimney and Vent Care. From the first phone call, Tobi was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. We scheduled an inspection, and he confirmed the appointment the day before and kept me updated when he was on his way. Tobi was easy to communicate with and very thorough. He went into the attic and confirmed there was no water leaking through the chimney. He even stood outside in light rain to investigate the source of the dripping sound. He determined that the noise was actually water dripping from the chase cover's drip edge onto the metal flashing, which amplified the sound and made it seem like there was a leak. When I asked about replacing the chase cover, he provided a quote without any pressure. Tobi is honest and does not try to upsell services that aren't needed. I highly recommend Tobi's Chimney and Vent Care. Thank you again, Tobi! read more

Tobi's Chimney was an absolute standout experience. From the very first message, Tobi responded incredibly fast and genuinely cared. I shared that we had just purchased our home, and instead of jumping straight into pricing, he took a moment to congratulate us -- that small gesture really meant a lot and set the tone right away. His pricing was very fair and lower or right in line with other quotes we received. He arrived on time, was kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. During the visit, we ended up needing to address an additional issue, and Tobi clearly explained why it needed to be fixed and walked us through what was going on in a way that was easy to understand. He also took the time to point out a few other things around the house for us to be aware of, which we really appreciated as new homeowners. He was respectful of our home -- wore shoe covers, communicated clearly throughout the process, and even noticed a small bit of dirt left behind after cleaning. He went back to his truck just to grab a wipe so he could leave the area cleaner than he found it. That level of care and attention to detail says everything. Tobi was such a random but amazing find on Yelp, and we will absolutely continue using him for any future fireplace or chimney service. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation -- reliable, punctual, kind, and truly takes pride in his work. read more

Tobi showed up with an assistant, and both worked late, as he accommodated my urgency and schedule me last minute; about a week ago, I was worried about the oncoming storm and needed to cap close the chimney top. He documented the event and answered all my questions, and the job was well worth the price for his commendable service... I will tell my neighbors on the next community meeting about my experience with Tobi's Chimney And Vent Care! read more

I have a two story condo with a brick chimney that spans the two floors. The part of the chimney above the roof line had cracks and the crown was cracked. I contacted Tobi and he was very knowledgeable about the repair. I had him and his team perform the repair. They used a scaffold and made sure to protect my roof and patio. The whole team was courteous and professional. They did a great job and I recommend his service. read more

Don't look elsewhere! Let me save you the trouble from dealing with nefarious chimney scammers that are all over the LA basin. I called many places to only be connected with people out of the country that were pushy and demanding that they come to the address to do the inspection, even when I told them I wasn't going to use their services. Tobi reached out (very quickly!) and put my mind at ease by explaining everything in complete detail. He's straightforward and honest, which are qualities that are becoming increasingly hard to find. Since he was so honest and professional I had him do 4 property inspections and cleans all on the same time. He filled me in on what was found, send a thorough report, and was very easy to communicate with. 10/10 recommend using! Save yourself the trouble from dealing with a ring of scammers out there and use Tobi! Thank you for everything! read more

Toni is honestly the BEST! He was able to fit us in so much faster than I expected! As soon as he arrived, he immediately check-in about covering his shoes to protect our carpets- I've never had that happen before - but as we live in Norco I was like "save them for another house" . He immediately got to inspecting, identifying weaknesses, and communicating every step of the way. Thanks to him we know what we need to do - the fireplace is basically deadly with one wobbly side and loose bricks with a mystery wall of fallen bricks behind them - which was way beyond a simple cleaning or small repairs. He even went above and beyond by still checking the chimney, just so we would know if it needing fixing too, and he checked our brick bbq as well. I honestly couldn't recommend him more! His prices are awesome, his professionalism is beyond what I was expecting, and he truly cares about your safety (he could have just cleaned our fireplace, taken our money, and left). You won't be disappointed! read more

Tobi was great. Honest and explained everything thoroughly. He was mindful of his boots and our white carpet. Highly recommend.

Tobi is very knowledgeable and helpful. I can't recommend this company enough if you need your chimney cleaned, or even an inspection!

Tobi is amazing, I called for an estimate on cleaning the brick veneer of my 1966 chimney which had a lot of dust, not soot as we don't use our chimney, and while this turns out it was more a dusting issue that didn't require his services, he helped me figure out the best way to do it on the brick veneer. I will definitely be calling him in the future when we need other parts of our chimney or our vents cleaned. Great customer service! read more

Tobi knows his stuff! Very knowledgeable about chimneys and fireplaces. He was on time and professional.

We had Tobi come out to repair multiple items with our chimney including our cracked crown which he rebuilt, repairing cracked bricks, removing our damper, and installing a new crown seal. Everything he did was excellent and quality work. We are very pleased and the work exceeded our expectations! He also gave us a great price which we were beyond grateful for. Beyond that, Tobi is personable, reliable, and friendly. We will definitely have him out for any further chimney needs. read more

After having several extremely negative experienced with faie scam companies I was extremely blessed to find Tobi and his team. The first thing that drew me to his company was how genuine he came off as when id first called him, he spent aboht 10 minutes on the phone teaching me all about my chimney giving me lots of advice on how to make the chimney work better and what my options sre. this was really refreshing since most companies usually try to just pressure you to make an appointment. when the day of the appointment came he was communicative and on time. went to great lengths to respect my home to keep things clean. he did an excellent job cleaning the chimney and communicating the results of the inspection and going over which things needed to be addressed and which things we could hold off on. overall tobi was a pleasure to do business with. i am extremely happy with his work and would recomend him to anyone looking for any chimney work. read more

I had rain water coming down my chimney and called Tobi's. Tobi and David came out and inspected my chimney and pointed out issues with my less than 2 year old roof. They were honest, helpful and respectful of my property. Tobi even took down my weathervane that was leaning severely that my roofer ignored when I contacted him. I have since had my roof inspected and a new roofer do the necessary repairs. I highly recommend Tobi's because of their expertise and integrity. read more

Tobi was amazing. We had moved into our older home and had just always assumed our chimney wasn't safe to use. But after four years, I finally decided to have it checked. Tobi scheduled an appointment promptly showed up on time and was always in communication about when he was going to arrive. He did a thorough cleaning and was very good at explaining everything that he felt needed to be done as soon as possible and which things could wait. Also, as a first time fireplace owner, I was unsure about whether to use gas or real wood logs. He was also very helpful and informing me the pros and cons of each, and even giving me websites on where to find and look at gas log set ups. We ended up needing to have a couple gaps and cracks fixed, which he also was very informative and walked me through each step, showing me pictures of the before, and after and explaining why these things were important to do. Very fairly priced, compared to others I had reached out to in the area. Would recommend Tobi to anyone if you're a first time fireplace owner or looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable Chimney Sweep. read more
