It was hardly worth the effort to unlatch me from our van so I could accompany him inside. But it was blazing freaking hot so I went inside for all of seven minutes, while Jeremy paid for his purchase. I think my favorite part about shopping at Home Depot is that their website tells you where to find everything that they stock: aisle number, section, down to individual item number. Its super helpful, when I remember to use it, and my phone isn't being a cranky piece of crap by not loading web pages. I wish more stores would add the ability to find the item in store to their websites.

I finally got painting my daughter's room. I picked up some paint at Lowe's. I ended up going with…read moreValpar. This was my first time painting anything in our house. The process was a little bit confusing. I didn't realize we had to pick out the base first and then add the paint to it and I couldn't really determine like what the difference between the different base pink cans were obviously I know the difference between the finishes, but the difference is in quality were not clear. I wish they had an example of what the paint qualities would look like on a sheet or something to make it easier for people to determine and make that decision otherwise we really like how it turned out I even was able to pick up a few discount pink cans for my son's room and at checkout, I was able to add the color I ended up getting for my daughter's room to my Lowe's account so that way if we ever need to get more, I can order it that way, and not have to guess on the name of the paint the discount paint was not able to be added to my Lowe's account unfortunately I wish they would add that barcode too so people can add that color especially since it's discount if I wanted to get more, I have no idea how to color match that so now I'm a little bit hesitant to use my discount paint but otherwise it was a pretty good experience. The store is pretty organized, and there are some employees there that offered to help out the process was still confusing even with the offer for help but I appreciate them trying. I also always enjoy going over to the garden section and looking at the discount plants. I have a bit of a green thumb humble brag so I like getting the discount plants that are nearly forgotten or on their death and seeing if I can revitalize them and bring them back to life. It's a nice way to get extra plants for not a lot of money and it makes me feel good that I'm getting the ones that are forgotten parking lots pretty big and people will help you if you ask prices I think are pretty fair
