Save time from driving to a big box store and stop and and say hello to the crew. They are also amazing and accurate key cutting, glass-window and screen repair services. Heck, they can even make you a window screen from scratch. Definitely give these guys your support!!

I had to replace my kitchen sink faucet. Went to a big box store and bought the faucet. Got home,…read morestarted to install it and found that the lead from the faucet was not long enough to connect to the cold water line. I am not a plumber but knew what I needed to make it work. So I went to Lowes, Walmart and Home Depot. None of them knew what I was looking for. It wasn't that hard. I knew I explained it right. And I also know I couldn't possibly be the only person to ever have this problem. On my way home, I drove past Poplar Place hardware store and made a u-turn (illegally?) and pulled into their parking lot. I was in there for a few seconds and was able to find one of the pieces I needed. I walked to the counter and told the man in terribly inaccurate terms what I was trying to accomplish. He said "oh, sure!" And walked to their vast collection of adapters and brought me exactly what I needed. I am never going to any of the monstrous stores again. All hardware needs will now be taken care of at Poplar Place hardware. They are knowledgeable. The store is well stocked and clean. And their prices are competitive.

The dispatch team is so quick and responsive for scheduling, and worked with me when I needed to change dates. It was delivered and installed by Paco, who went above and beyond: when he discovered it needed a new outlet installed, he didn't ask to reschedule--instead, he helped me contact sales to make the order change, installed the new outlet, and even located *and labeled* our unmarked breaker for the dishwasher on our basement breaker panel. Then he waited while I filled an already-existing oversized access hole behind the dishwasher with copper mesh and spray foam to keep neighborhood pests out! Amazing service--I'd use ABW again just to work with their delivery and installation team.

After installing my floor, when I went to return leftover material he misbehave with me and refused to take the materials back and talked to me rudely and arrogantly. I was shocked, why he is behaving like this. He also had discrepancies in his pricing. I would suggest anyone before dealing with the owner of the blue star make sure to take everything in writing, because he manipulates the whole situation. As he made sure he will take back whatever would be the leftover but he totally changed his behavior when I went to return the leftover materials,as the leftover materials were closed boxes not the open ones. no recommendation, be careful

The store is huge (the largest Ace in MD) and the staff went above and beyond to help me out. I showed up in the middle of a rain storm without an umbrella to buy a pile of power tools. This may sound minor, but when was the last time someone at a store went out of their way like this. I didn't even have to ask. Seriously can't say enough positive stuff about the team here.
