After striking out at a different location, Jeremy ordered what he wanted ahead of time, so they had it ready when we arrived. No need to wander the aisles. It was hardly worth the effort to unlatch me from our van so I could accompany him inside. But it was blazing freaking hot so I went inside for all of seven minutes, while Jeremy paid for his purchase. I think my favorite part about shopping at Home Depot is that their website tells you where to find everything that they stock: aisle number, section, down to individual item number. Its super helpful, when I remember to use it, and my phone isn't being a cranky piece of crap by not loading web pages. I wish more stores would add the ability to find the item in store to their websites. read more

So I'm not just a chef and caterer I'm also an artist and I work on a lot of restaurants helping them to enhance the look of their interior design. I purchased this white Behr paint that includes the primer last week and it has proved to be absolutely amazing! The wall that I'm working on is a deep red a deep bright red at that, and so this paint has provided a full coverage that is absolutely amazing! This Home Depot location is very under staffed. on one occasion, I was looking to purchase some new appliances and it took forever to get someone to come and help. I had to ask 3 different employees and still no one came, despite them announcing it on the speaker. A different occasion involved almost a 20 minute wait for someone to help me make copies of keys. The value is good as any other Home Depot, but the wait is too long. I would only recommend going here if you know what you need and do not need any help - otherwise, I hope you have a lot of patience. read more

My husband and I went in Friday morning to rent an over seeder. We arrived a minute before the store opened so we were the first ones in the door when they opened. We walked over to the tool rental area and there was no employee. After waiting five minutes I walked to the nearest register and asked if anyone was working tool rental. They made an announcement to the store for the tool rental employee to return to tool rental. Five more minutes passed with no employee so I walked to customer service at the other end of the store to request assistance. By the time I returned to tool rental one employee asked if we had been helped yet. When we said no he apologized and advised he would find the tool rental associate to help. The kid who finally arrived tried to help but clearly didn't have knowledge of the tools. When we told him what we needed, he looked in the computer and said they didn't have one. I called the night before and checked online and they showed in stock. My husband advised they were probably outside. We walked outside, saw four machines and the kid said he didn't see it. My husband had to suggest he look in the locked cage that held all of the outdoor lawn equipment, which is what we were looking for. Finally, an employee who appeared to be late as he was still in regular clothes and no uniform, arrived. He was able to locate the tool we needed and check us out promptly. Although we rented for 24 hours, we ended up returning the over seeder later in the day. The return fortunately went a lot quicker. Something that should have taken 3 minutes took way over 20. read more

I've lived in 4 different homes since I moved to Baltimore and have become very familiar with this Home Depot. Over the years, I've bought plenty of paint, screws, light fixtures, and one time a door (which I promptly returned with no issue). Fortunately my current place doesn't require any updating, so yesterday I went by Home Depot in search of plants. And wow, did I hit the jackpot! Home Depot's selection of plants was really good and reasonably priced. I saw a bunch of tall tropical plants I want to get, plus some small plants that were cute and may grow to be huge. I was debating between a monstera that hadn't swiss-cheesed yet and a fiddle-leaf fig. I ended up with the fig and a couple of planters, the total was around $30, not bad at all, especially given I saw a similarly sized fiddle-leaf fig for $45 at the Ace Hardware near my place. I'm all for a good deal, so looks like Home Depot will become my go-to for plants! Checkout was easy, and the staff there was super nice (I accidentally jumped in line and a staff member gently told me where to go), plus the store is clean and easily navigable. I have not been in a Home Depot since I owned a house in Tucson. (2 plus years!) The wife and I decided to get some flowers for the backyard, and the front of our home here in Baltimore. The variety of BEAUTIFUL flowers, plants and trees was impressive to say the least. All of them were well cared for, watered, and inexpensive. Staff was very nice, and several people offered to assist us , but we did not need it. I would say this store is clean, organized, and the staff are actually AROUND...and offer to help. Over the past 6 months I've spent over 15,000 at this specific location on a rental rehab. Today I went to return $4xx worth of merchandise without a receipt for store credit. Why no receipt? Cause I'm drowning in fucking receipts from this location. The returns woman said the amount was too large and she needed to get a manager to approve. This ass clown name Joe Green, the on shift manager, comes over and starts explaining how he can't return it without a receipt or the credit card cause I could have brought these items from anywhere. I explained to him that I shop here every day and everyone at the contractor check out area knows my face. 10 minutes more of his bumbling and stuttering about him doing things by the book and that I'm not in the pro desk registry (which I already fucking told him I wasn't) I told him 'you know what? Fuck you and Home Depot, I can just shop at Lowes'. How are you going to turn me down for a 400 return if the policy AT THE COUNTER says that returns over 1000 for store credit will be mailed via check. Do you understand the logical issue here? Two thumbs down and one middle finger up Joe Green! Heads up Home Depot corporate, your $12 per hour high school educated shift managers are costing you big time, maybe that's why the stock is tanking. After this review gets on google places, next stop is an official complaint to the corporate office. Ordered a few items through curbside pickup for this location because my normal Home Depot (Pasadena) was out of stock, but the order ready in a reasonable amount of time. When I arrived to the store, I checked in through the app but no one ever came. Attempted to check in again through the app, and again no one came. At this point, I tried calling the store to speak to someone but no one would pick up the phone. After 30 minutes of attempting to pick up my CURBSIDE order through CURBSIDE pickup, I went inside to customer service. Obviously frustrated at this point, I told the employee at customer service that I was here for a curbside order and had been trying to notify someone through the app and through the phone for a half hour and I was promptly given a "huh" by the person at the desk. This is exactly as you would expect from a home depot, it gets the job done. I wouldn't say that there are always the friendliest employees here, but they do help you when asked. I always come here for lightbulbs because this is the only place where I can find all of the ones that I need, that being said, this is the second time I've bought bulbs within the year and when I brought them home, 1 of them didn't work. I guess that's just the luck of the draw and happens, they happily take them back, I just have to make the trip again. This home depot has a huge parking lot, it's never full and you don't ever have to fight with traffic. read more

We came here to get some spackling for a DIY project. This is the closest Home Depot to us and it is pretty decent.The store is well maintained and you can always find someone to help you or direct you to the proper person that will help. We always find what we come to purchase here so l applaud them for that and the associates are always pleasant. Returning items has never been a hassle for me, as l always have my receipt in tow. Sunday mornings are slow and there are always plenty of lines open to check out. read more

Happened to find one that wasn't open or destroyed. Make our way to checkout and it rang up $35 so I had to ask one of the cashiers to stop their conversation and help us the lady went to the sign came back and said it was a Black Friday sale that I should have read the sign correctly. I asked why a Black Friday sign was still up in December she just got rude and said "I said you have to read the sign" and walked away. Horrible customer service. Do better Home Depot read more

I was in the garden department this past Monday 10/25/21 to purchase 20 bags of mulch. I'm 63, 5 foot and I don't know if this made a difference or not but i am white. Upon entering the department I asked the Cashier if someone could please help me with getting this mulch??? He was Black. I waited and waited and waited and waited and waited and THEY WERE NOT BUSY!!!!! I heard dozens of calls go outs for customers assistance in various aisles throughout the store. No One ever came. I called the store still standing in front of the mulch I wanted and asked for the MANAGER! I explained the situation. He never apologized. I said "Well, if this is the way you treat your customers, and this isn't the FIRST time this has transpired, I'm going to LOWE'S and you just lost a big SALE" read more

I saw another review in which the writer said she was sick and tired of employees not wearing their masks in the store. Spot on. Those were the exact words I used to a person who identified herself as a manager yesterday, on my 4th complaint in as many visits to the Lansdowne store, At least 30% of the employees I encountered were walking around the store with their masks below their noses or under their chins. I was told by the manager that management is "on it", and that they do discipline employees, but either they are blind or lying. The store also does not adequately clean its carts and I have complained about that as well. It's an outbreak waiting to happen. read more

I was shopping in the fenced in garden area about a week ago at the Lansdowne Home Depot. It was around sunset. I stood and watched at least half a dozen rats scurry in and under the potted plants as they tried to hide. They had chewed holes in many of the grass seed and bird seed bags. Why don't they protect these products behind steel wire cages or something? It was scary just walking through there. read more

I gave them 5 stars, because there are no half stars. I have been shopping there since they opened, and almost always satisfied. Good prices, friendly, and mostly competent and helpful. They have a wide variety of useful and interesting stuff, not just 2x4s nails and cement. Only negative is, its a big store and could use a couple more employees per shift. Having to wander looking for assistance is just as hard on your feet as wandering around trying to find things. And yeah, parking, store access, handicap access and electric carts are available. its a fairly busy store but you can still park reasonably close to the entrances. read more

Apparently, at the corporate level, Home Depot revised their military discount from 10% to some random number. I spent a large amount of money there on my last trip only to find out about the change. So instead of getting close to $100 off, I got $2.73 off. That number is insulting on such a large purchase. It's such a joke that I don't know why they even offer it? For the most part, the customer service was good, but I did have to bother a guy who refused to get out of his chair to assist me. Wow! The workers here were so friendly I was shocked. I made a return first and then picked up an online order at the customer service desk. The two women there were very helpful. One young man working in the carpet aisle asked if I needed any help in the adjacent tile aisle. He talked, and talked, and talked about how to tile, what to use, etc. etc. it was almost funny! Additionally, this store had way more tile inventory than my closest Home Depot in Dundalk. Self-check out was quick. read more

Apparently, on the weekend there is some rule that if you need to rent a truck, you have to buy stuff at the store. I was not aware of that rule, offered to go buy patio chairs, plants, and other things that would fit in a fiat and was told that not how it worked. The rental manager got huffy and made it seem like a huge issue so I left. Seems Lowes doesn't have that rule. read more

This place needs to do better. The staff is always nice, but they are hard to find, understaffed, and under-trained. Also, Home Depot in general needs to focus on getting more quality products on the shelves. I'm tired of seeing their self branded HDX and HUSKY tools rammed down my throat as my only option. I ordred a grill for in-store pickup in advance but when I got there they said there was a mix-up and the grill was out of stock. The manager then offered to ship me the grill for free to my house the following week. This was a very good solution except I had to waste an hour dealing with people below him until we got to the manager. Today i had the pleasure to on meeting on of the best employee at this home depot location on my opinion, by the name Jeyder. He was one of the most helpful cashiers i have encountered on, he was respectful in every single way even asked if i have had found everything okay, and if i needed help finding anything that I couldn't find, asked if i wanted a store credit card nicely and not try to force anything on me compare to an older lady that i have had a terrible experience with. With that being said even though i saw that he wasn't feeling well he still continued on carrying a smile on his face and treating not just me right but even the other people in front of me. And at the end of the transaction even asked if i needed help carrying things out to my car which I thought it was very sweet. More Home Depots need employers like Jeyder. read more

This Home Depot is very pleasant yes it has its downfalls but everything does. I absolutely cannot give this place more then three stars unfortunately. The way some of the employees get treated is deplorable. I guess there is a higher up who seems to belittle every cashier in there and I just find that down right disgusting.
