I finally made it over to Stem & Vine for their bubbles and blooms event. This is an event that teaches you how to make your own flower bouquet. The owner was our instructor and she was a gem! Her energy was so bright and she gave us the best tips and tricks for putting together and maintaining our bouquets. Not to mention, this plant shop is Black owned! It's such a lovely space and I'm so happy I was able to attend. I will definitely visit again for their other events.

Such a wonderful plant shop with a dope vibe! GLOWS: - There is a great selection of plant varieties and plant care products. -The owner, Quincy, is very knowledgeable and did excellent work assisting me in finding the perfect plant! -They have a great variety of events to engage in community, while learning about plants and having the opportunity to unwind and socialize. -The inclusion of a bar area is such a nice touch. It really adds to the theme of "horticultural therapy." There are alcohol- free options as well! -The shop is serious about unplugging, so don't bring laptops to work! Really come to socialize and be one with the greenery for a while.

This is one of the most lovely places I've been to in Baltimore, I swear. Imagine tons of windows providing for a light filled space housing a huge variety of obviously healthy and thriving plants (it made me ashamed of my pitiful little plants, lol). Additionally there is a bar at the back of the venue and a bunch of original works of art for sale. The proprietor was super nice and knowledgeable about all the plants and art available (as he should be!). The plants seemed reasonably priced, cheaper than what I've seen at my local Ace Hardware for less impressive plants. Overall, I liked the vibe at Stem and Vine immensely. I don't have the lighting nor room for more plants at my house, but I wouldn't mind a glass of wine and enjoying luscious plants at Stem and Vine. =)

We've been meaning to stop by this location for a little while now. Books a Terrarium class, which was very fun! The space is well decorated. The atrium and space across the hall, beautiful additions.

As long as I've lived in the Parkville area, I've never thought to check out Poor Boy's. However,…read morewith my recent garden obsession I decided to pay them a visit to see what they had in stock. I was blown away with the selection of house plants and all of themat a very good price too. Considering the astronomical price tag that some plants have today. For $9.99, I couldn't leave without buying a new plant. Poor Boys has all of your needs to tend to your plants and garden. From soil and neem oil to planter pots and worm castings. They carried a good selection of annual and perennial plants for your garden as well as a smaller selection of herbs, greens, and lettuce, given the major gardening season is starting to come to an end. They even had different types of fruit trees with fruit already on the limbs. The young guy working in the garden center was really nice and answered the various questions I had. He even helped me bring my items to the car. If you've got a green thumb and are in need of some new house plants or new items for your garden, then definitely give Poor Boy a visit.

They don't have as much selection of indoor plants but the ones they do have are in great condition! The staff are kind too! The lady who checked me out asked if I found everything I needed. They are not affiliated with the poor boys in Dundalk, so if you're asked about their rewards, they are two separate things.
