As a lover of plants and all things green, I was super excited at the opportunity to explore my artistic and green-finger sides!! The workshop led by Ashley - who was super informative. She started us off with guided step-by-step instructions on the Kokedama making process, as well as giving us information on how to care for our kokedamas. Just wanted to hop back on here to update my review! As before, still a 5 out of 5! I recently visited over the weekend and they continued to have a lot of various plants in stock! The plants all look very healthy and I also appreciate that they offer different sizes from tiny pots to huge houseplants! I also really like they continue to offer a selection of cuttings because I have 2 cats at home and some of the hands off plants are not ideal for me to have inside if they're so large. On that note, I love that they indicate which ones pet safe, really helpful for any new plant parents out there! read more

On a Sunday afternoon I was the only one in there store so I had plenty of time with the sales associate. She was so kind! So many lovely, healthy plants, so many! Many recognizable plants. Many priced a lot more than I've seen in other places. Gorgeous pots. Super cute succulents. I went with the Marble Queen Pothos. If you're looking for a place that offers re-potting services, this is your place! I recently stopped in to take advantage of the 4.10 deal they had in conjunction with Yelp. Though the variety was small, I got a gem. The young lady did tell me they'd restock if I wanted to wait. :) While here I did purchase a few other plant necessities. Gnat tape and a draining dish. Not so sure how I wanna feel about my visit today. I wasn't greeted when I entered. I was inquiring about some plants that I saw online but, of course they didn't have any. I was using a gift card so I ended up getting three mini plants. I didn't really feel like I mattered much I guess because I wasn't spending as much as others at the time. I wasn't asked for my rewards number and I didn't realize it until until after the sale was closed. I also had to ask for a plant care card. So I checked in as I was leaving. Crazy thing is they offer a $5.00 off when you check in that can't be used until July. When I went back inside for an explanation they didn't really tell me much other than oh yeah that can be used until July. This really wasn't a visit where I felt welcomed like on my first visit. This is my go to plant shop!!! I adore them here! I always have questions each time I come as I am pretty new to being a plant mom...and they are always so considerate and welcoming of my 1000 questions. They are running by covid rules, meaning only 4 people in at a time and keep your mask on at all times. I witness they stick to that rule. When too many people tried to come in they politely tell the customers they have to wait for people to leave. A customer also came in without a mask on and they politely asked for him to put one on. If you ever have a plant question and are at home, no worries. They have a email you can send any questions or concerns you may have. When I went to Portugal last year my poor old man cactus died...well at least I thought he was getting there. Since I was still out of town I was able to email them a photos for them to verify. Unfortunately he actually did pass away but I promised myself I would buy another. This weekend I purchased a big old man cactus and has them assist me with getting all the items I will need yo create a territorium for my two new cactus! They were so helpful and actually worked to get them to both fit together an all! Oh and they watered them for me as well! Such a sweet touch! They do not allow the use of outside containers/pots. You are free to re-pot in your own pot but they don't assist with outside pots. My last visit they had a vendor event outside and that was nice. There were about 3 different vendors. All in all i will continue to visit this beautiful place for my plant needs! read more

WOW! The customer service at this location is amazing. I originally went for the 410 event where BWillow was offering a 4inch plant for $4.10 and we walked out with much more! What really impressed me though was the thorough and thoughtful customer service. During my visit, the staff was helping a younger customer repot a plant to his own pot and guided him through the process and was teaching the basics of how to care for his plant and make his own planter look and feel like his own. It's really great location bc it gets natural light from both sides of the street. It's obvious the plants absolutely love the location bc it is always so incredibly lush as soon as you enter. Now I don't know if all the O2 being given off by the plants is the reason or the fact that I simply love the look/ layout of this shop... but I ALWAYS instantly feel good/ refreshed as soon as I walk through the door. I've actually passed by B.Willow a few times while visiting friends in the apartment building across the street - it always looked so cute from the outside but I was never there during normal business hours. It is definitely worth swinging into! The salespeople were knowledgeable and polite, the shop was well-stocked and clean, and the merchandise was super cute and very reasonably priced. I loved how thoughtful the shop is, like they send you home with a postcard with basic instructions on how to care for the specific kind of plant you bought. How great is that?! I got an adorable little purple passion plant for just $3, which felt like a steal for how pretty the thing was. B Willow is a great local spot for all your greenery needs. They have a large selection of cacti, ferns, pottery, and more. The staff is usually very helpful in recommending sizes of pots for certain plants or giving plant care advice. They even provide re-potting services on site too. I also really love that you can conveniently place on order online and schedule to pick it up later. During the pandemic, they often left pick up orders out on the side door stoop so customers could easily and safely grab their items. I recently went to B Willow to pick out a floral arrangement as a housewarming gift for a friend of mine who is a first time homeowner. I walked around a bit debating between a small cactus, an air plant, or a floral arrangement. The staff was very patient with me as I bounced ideas off them and told them about my friend's not so great plant caring instincts. I was in a bit of a rush, so I grabbed a bunch of cuttings from the floral arrangement area and checked out. The total was a bit more than expected ($40) but I really should've done my due diligence and asked about prices before rushing to pick out cuttings. The staff member was kind enough to expertly arrange the cuttings and carefully wrap it and tie it up in a bow. It was a really nice touch! This is a cute little store that is located on the corner and has great curb appeal and looks just as attractive in the inside. If you are looking for a gift for someone they have small plants, candles and gifts that you can give or buy something for yourself or both. The entrance is very welcoming and organized with greenery. There is an array of various plants and sizes to fit the needs of the customers. They have workshops and classes and change those monthly which you can attend for a fee and bring a friend, family member or a great date idea. The staff are all friendly and helpful and were able to assist me with finding the best plant that works best for my work space. I will being good back to take a workshop for sure. The vibe and ambiance here is great. I went here a few months back, and really enjoyed my time in the shop. They offer classes (which I haven't taken, so can't speak on), and I found their staff helpful and available - I can't speak to how knowledgeable they are, but in fairness, I did go with a woman I consider my "plant mom," so I asked her more questions that I might have otherwise asked staff if I went alone. The atmosphere is everything I could ask for in what I would call a plant boutique (I'm not sure if that's what they identify as, but it seems fitting for what they offer). It's small, and the selection is relatively limited by space - you'll find a lot of cute small options, many medium sized plant options, and a handful or larger plant options. To be clear, if you're looking for a wide selection in variety and size, you're probably not going to find it here. But for a decent bit of time in a small green space, this place hits the right marks. I took a star off for pricing. You're paying for boutique prices here - so be aware of that. There is a nice variety of planted options in super cute pots and planters. They are somewhat expensive and could likely be recreated with thrift store finds, but on the flip side, this is a small business worth supporting in my mind - especially if you'd rather buy a pretty thing that doesn't take a lot of work to meet your aesthetic, and do so from a shop that just feels good to be in. And, as a side note, I went on their store "birthday" - and received a gifted stemmed flower as well as a free small cactus with my purchase. Despite slightly higher costs and a limited selection compared to what you would find at a traditional gardening store, this spot is worth checking out. read more

I just started a new job, and the woman in the office next to mine has an office that gave me serious plant envy. Well, I've got a long windowsill and lots of natural light, too - so I thought: let's try it. Unfortunately, I've never kept a plant alive longer than a few months. I stopped by B.Willow hoping that they would be able to point me in the direction of plants that would be good for a beginner but also beautiful. Everyone in the shop was so kind and helpful. And the shop sells everything you need to help keep your plants alive (and presumably things for those of you with green thumbs who don't struggle at this so much). They have quite a few plants options for such a small shop - but I wish they had more planters and other things to go home with you and your plants. I left with a nerve plant, a stromanthe, some things I needed to keep them alive, and a lot of optimism about my ability to keep them alive. This shop is so cute inside and out (although finding parking is horrendous). The lone lady working behind the counter was very friendly. But on a practical level, the plants--at least the ones I saw--were small AND expensive compared to other places I've been. They have a repotting service, nice but also pricey. The plants were basic house plants and succulents, nothing exotic, no seeds(!), and no orchids. There were pots and tulip bunches for sale, too.
