BEWARE Mr B came out to replace a lost key FOB for a Honda Accord. He managed to make the new key turn the engine over, but was unable to make the key work with the door. He suggested we try youtube videos to make it work. YOUTUBE VIDEOS He charged full price. A few days later, and many attempts by many people, I called and asked if Mr. B would be willing to try programming it again, since we paid full price. He said no. I asked if he would be willing to make a new key. He said no. I went to another locksmith who said the key was done wrong, and would have to be redone from scratch. I went to a different locksmith who estimated cheaper, and they fixed the problem in under a minute. Mr. B used a remote for a Honda civic, when I had an accord. When the back of the remote was inspected, it was found to be a bootleg FC code. This is a SCAM. Dude is out here plugging temp remotes for civics in Honda accord fobs and charging full price. He knew exactly what he was doing, that's exactly why he refused to try again or replace. BEWARE read more

Brandon gave me a quote for "cutting and programming" my car key for $85. I got two similar quotes for $90 and decided to choose Mr. B's Locks and Keys since their quote was the cheapest. I should mention that Acme lock - which was one of the places that gave me a $90 quote - explicitly mentioned that they charge $45 for cutting the key and $45 for programming it (screenshot attached). Upon arriving at the shop, Brandon asked for my new key which was sent to me by a dealer, and was still in the original packaging. He took the key out of the packaging, and even though he realized that the key was already cut he asked me to pay the original $85 plus a $5 tax upfront knowing fully well that he didn't need to cut my key for me. Since I was never told about the fact that the key was cut, I was under the impression that I was being charged $90 for both cutting and programming my key and hence I went ahead and paid the full $90. After he programmed my key I asked him if he forgot to cut the key blade, and that was when he mentioned that the key was already cut. Had I known that I was going to be charged for a service that I could get elsewhere for half of that price, I would have walked away and given my business to the business who had given me a quote for roughly half of what I was charged. If you don't want to get charged for a service that you are not getting, you should avoid Mr. B's Locks & Keys. read more

My family and myself all drive used cars, and of course we only have one key and key fob per car.I went to Mr. B's, for my daughter's Honda Accord, for an extra key and key fob, I was so impressed with the service and cost, I got extra keys, and key fobs for all our vehicles. Heroes!! Brandon and Mike let us into our house after we locked ourselves out...on a Sunday evening! Reasonable rate and super friendly!

I waited on Brandon for over 10 years at a restaurant not saying anybody should get anything for free but I do think that it does deserve a little bit more respect. I called because my key would not turn in my ignition. Before I called anybody I tried to fix it myself and therefore ended up needing to replace the entire cylinder lock. Which I did not know at the time. When I spoke with him on the phone we spoke about how I may need new keys made and that should solve the problem. Now at this point I will admit I did falter and that I should have had him look at my car before I paid him. Before even checking to see if I needed a new key made he just went ahead and took my money took my paperwork and made a new key all of this for $100 mind you. Come to find out following this he gets in my car tries to start it and the key does not work. Good business practices at this point would be to at least refund half of the $100 that I paid. However I was pretty much told I needed a new ignition lock and they were going to charge me an additional $175 on top of the hundred they already charged me for keys I didn't even need. Now mind you 10 years of free drinks here and their money off a different kinds of food Etc. Although I do accept responsibility for not making him look at my car before he made the key however he made his self a quick hundred dollars for no reason that day. Outstanding, honest businessman. Mr. B's took very quick care of me and for a great deal. He cut my chipped Ford key in just a couple minutes and I was fully expecting to pay $65. When he learned I had the original 2 factory keys and could program the new one myself, he quickly dropped his price to just the cost of a key cutting and saved me a lot of money.
