So, when I needed a locksmith to rekey and otherwise de-jank the portals to my mother's new home, I called Brian, the owner of Ace Hardware in Clifton (see my review on Yelp). "I don't have a locksmith on staff. Call Gary Leach; he does all of my work." Gary responded to my voicemail quickly, and made scheduling a breeze--"just call me when you have possession of the home." We called the day after the closing, and he arrived within a couple of hours. Gary immediately assessed that the janky front door had actually been kicked in and repaired with something akin to Lincoln logs at some point in the past. "I'll be back," he said, after taking some measurements. He returned in hour or so and Fort-Knoxed the door with custom metal plates. He otherwise installed deadbolt locks on all three exterior doors, worked out minor kinks in the existing hardware, and rekeyed all, including the storm doors, to one key.
