I stoped by here last week to get some keys made and as I started to open the door I saw they were closing at 3 and it was about 2:57. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Alan certainly deserves it. The ignition on our truck had to be replaced after some idiotic jerk tried to steal it. The idiotic jerk broke a key off in the ignition. We called Advance Lock Service and explained what happened and told them we needed it done by 1 pm so my husband could get to work. Alan said he would try and that he had a busy day ahead. Around 11am we got a call from Alan stating he was outside by the truck. That was the first time he impressed us. He had the job done in less than 30 minutes and was extremely nice. That was the second time he impressed us. We hit the road and the truck just died while driving. Everything dead. We tried several things but nothing worked. So we called Advance again and asked if Alan could come check the steering connections in hopes that maybe something happened after putting in the new ignition. Alan showed up within 10 minutes. That was the third time he impressed us. He worked diligently in the heat to try and figure out what happened. After about an hour he assured us that the new ignition was not the problem. We thanked him for his time and effort and asked how much we owed him. Know what he said? He said we owed him nothing! ! That's right! A big fat goose egg! Who does that? Seriously, who? Alan with Advance Lock Service that's who. Therefore impressing us for a fourth time! ! I highly recommend this company to everyone and anyone who is in need of a locksmith. Very responsive. Allen came to my home to cut and program a new ignition key. He wanted to make it 100% right so cut a cheap key first to test in the door. When it didn't work he lubricated the lock and worked it out till it was right. Then he fixed my original key that was damaged. Above all that he even programmed my remote for me. Can't say enough nice things about the staff at Advance Lock Service. Have used them several times thru the years. My Yorkshire dog stood on the armrest of my car and locked me out of my car while i was pumping gas (oops!) Today's service was for changing locks on my home - it was cheaper than replacing all the door knobs and deadbolts and job was completed same day and he was able to get me in day of call.
