This is a super easy place to drop in, but it can be loud (parties, trivia, bags, etc). It's got a little outdoor sidewalk area that has heaters and is a bit quieter. The tap beer list is extensive and I appreciate the variety of seltzers (plus they'll let you sample within reason). My go-to is the California chicken bowl, or the turkey burger with cranberry aioli, not as unhealthy as most bar food but definitely delicious. I don't like plain potato chips, but theirs are spiralized and very good! It's a good place to watch a game or just grab an easy dinner, meet up with some friends- solid place. read more

So I walked in and never having been there, I didn't know where the takeout counter was. After looking around I walked over to where I saw my order sitting. Someone behind the window said I had to check in at the bar, which was packed. I stood behind some people for a couple minutes before someone came from behind the bar and asked if I was there for carry out. They walked over and picked up my order and handed it to me. All this to say I didn't like the pick up process. It wasn't easy or welcoming. Now to the food, we ordered burgers and fries. The regular fries were undercooked and had little seasoning. The sweet potato fries were really good. The burgers however are worth going back there! The hamburger meat was seasoned well and all of the fixings were perfect. read more

Service was great! Came in town to watch a Brewers game. Went on a Tuesday at 9pm. Ordered Mac with brisket, Mac with hot wings, and a kids chicken tender meal. Oh, and some cheese curds. Asked for it all to come out together. Curds we cold, obviously sat in the window to die. The Mac n cheese in both orders was subpar at best. Flavorless overcooked macaroni. I had gotten lunch and a drink here with a friend! The food was tasty and the waitstaff were so helpful and patient with us when ordering. It was a Sunday afternoon and there were so many seats open for the afternoon game. I also appreciated the wide variety of brews on tap! There were so many items to choose from! We came on a Sunday at 530 Pm and the packers were on most of the TVS which was nice. Our server came over right away to give us menus and take our drink orders. They have a ton of beer on tap but need to have more Prosecco or rose as an option. Fish tacos were fantastic! read more

I've never been to a place that repeatedly mixes up the customer bills like this place does. For example, my friends get their bill charged to my card or vice versa. This has happened 80% of the time I go here. So much so that I've sworn off ever going here again as of a year ago. Only went back due to naive coworkers mistakenly scheduling a party here. Waitresses are uninspired, rude, and constantly new when I go here. You will never see the same face twice. Tables dirty. Food orders take forever, that's if anyone ever comes to your table. Date of visit: 10/7/21 We came here for trivia since our normal place was not holding a game due to weather and we couldn't pass up a chance to test our wits against some new teams. The servers were a bit stretched thin, but that's sadly normal these days so we were very patient and our server was attentive, checking on us numerous times throughout the evening, something that many places holding trivia tend to struggle with. Food-wise, there are a lot of options on their menu and the prices are fair. Burgers are a la carte, but there are a few side options. For me, sweet potato fries are really the only side there is, and they did not disappoint. The amount was a touch skimpy for the price, but what I did get was very tasty. I believe the menu said something about different toppings for the fries, but I wasn't offered any of those options, so not sure if they still exist. Also surprised that there were no dessert options available, otherwise I would definitely go back for trivia or even just a meal. read more

On Sunday, Fathers day, 6/16/2024, my son took me to Mr. Brews for a quick burger and drink. I've been to Mr. Brews many times in the past and always came away satisfied with my visit. Unfortunately this was not the case on Sunday. When we arrived for lunch, there were barely any tables occupied and we sat outside. It took a good 10 or so minutes for Zoe our server to approach us. We placed our order and waited. and waited, and waited and waited..... After 15 minutes, I approached the bar and told the bartender we had been waiting for quite a while. A few minutes later, our drinks appeared. During our meal, our server neglected to visit our table to enquire if there is anything we might need, as is usually customary at restaurants. After we had finished eating, we waited for our check. We waited, and waited and waited until I started to get annoyed and approached the bar again to let them know we had finish eating and were waiting for our check. I went back to my seat and I waited... and waited... for another 7 or 8 minutes before the check arrived. I did notice that only 2 tables were occupied inside the restaurant and 2 outside the restaurant on their patio during this time. After I handed the server my credit card, the waiting began yet again. Meanwhile my son was getting extremely annoyed at this lack of attention by our server. The table next to us had a server who we noticed was very attentative to his customers and returned several times. I finally got my credit card returned to me and we left in a hurry. Unfortunately this unnecessary episode left a bad taste in my mouth and as such, will not be returning to Mr. Brews. read more

I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment. I really don't like to speak negatively, only to give constructive and fair criticisms, but sadly... This is a one star review. Let's start with decor. Standard upscale modern aesthetic, with plenty of blue and purple LED accents. Overhead lighting was a bit too bright. Nothing really stands out as unique, but it's clean and not overwhelming or trying to be something wacky, which I do appreciate. Beer selection was impressive, but it was strangely un-organized on the display menu above the taps. IPAs were in several different sections, ales and lagers were mixed together which I guess is fine, and it was hard to tell if something was local/regional or an import. Why was Coors Light mixed in with the stouts? Food menu is pretty standard bar fare, nothing wild. I opted for the Kentucky Bourbon Classic with sweet potato fries. The burger LOOKED appetizing, and everything seemed cooked okay, but I found it sorely lacking. The "mayo bourbon" sauce they used had a bit of a slimy feel to it when combined with the onions, which led to a very unpleasant texture. The beef patty lacked any real seasoning. Really, the bacon did all the heavy lifting for flavor. The brioche was nice, though. The sweet potato fries were good. So there's that. Now let's talk service and COVID compliance, because that's where they really lost me. When I walked in, I was a bit dismayed to see so many people crowding around the main bar area. The guitarist they hired for the evening was looping country songs and Top 40 hits with the volume cranked, so you'd have to shout over it to be heard at the bar. I shouldn't have to stress how shouting and singing is a great way to project a virus into the air, but let's just flag that. The older woman behind the bar wore a chin diaper, while the two other servers did their best to keep a mask over their noses. Several patrons did not care whatsoever. Yeah, this is one of those places. ONE sign about social distancing, ONE sign about washing hands, no spacers to keep people from seating next to each other. I ordered a beer at the quiet end of the bar from a mask-wearing server who was not the bartender, as the bartender refused to serve me, then grabbed a seat in the far corner. The server was nice enough, and explained that the bartender was probably busy and didn't hear me place my order. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that my wearing a mask didn't sit well with the bartender, judging from the glares. I probably should have left, but I didn't. At that time it was 9:30pm and few places were available for a beer and a burger and at that point I was dialed in on a "beer and a burger." You'd think with tons of medical facilities and hospitals and specialists in the area, folks would be more sanitary and cautious, but at Mr Brews, they didn't particularly care. lol read more

If you are looking for a neighborhood type bar to have a good burger with a wide selection of beers on tap Mr. Brews Taphouse is for you. I've been here before several times pre-COVID but decided to give them a try. They have a sign reading a mask is required which I liked. However at the bar the seating is the same as pre pandemic, I would have felt better if they had removed some of the seats to encourage social distancing. I also noticed not all of the staff wear their masks the entire shift, a lot of removing them and putting them back on that made me a bit nervous. I'll be back again but next time I'll order pick up. The outside patio is a good option for dining on a nice day as well. read more

I have been to MrBrews on multiple occasions they like to have reserved cards out on tables and for the bar seating. It doesn't matter if it's a Thursday or Sunday. We always leave. I hope the seats they are saving for friends can keep them in business because they don't seem to think the general public can. read more

Cute and clean place. Service was a bit slow, but may be short staffed. Got the mushroom Swiss burger and sweet potato fries. My friends got the cranberry walnut salad with chicken. We asked for the cheese curds to start. The curds were ready in advance of the main meal, but not served until everything was ready, so they were cold. The burger was really good. Loved the sauce on it. The chicken in the salad was so dry that we thought is was bread sticks. The drink was great. Got the pineapple cider. May come back.... For a drink. We have been here more than enough to write a review. I have tried most of their burgers and sides and they have been good. If I am in the mood for a spicy burger I go for the Rajun' cajun burger with habanero jack cheese and jalapenos for an extra .89 cents, worth it if you like a little bit of heat. The last couple of times I have stuck with the sliders and paired it with their ever rotating selection of draught beer. If you are unsure of a new selection or something outside of your norm you can ask for a taste and you may find something you like. My wife ordered the chili with fresh made chips and their tasty beer cheese sauce to share. She really liked the chili, although she requested for the jalapenos and sour cream to be left out of the dish. Rachel made sure we had an excellent visit and does make sure that you are a valued customer. However she will be taking a short break from Mr Brew's tap house. We wanted to thank Mr Brews Taphouse and the wonderful staff that helped us out in a short notice situation to help host/serve approximately 100 of our friends and family after my father's funeral services. We wanted to have a gathering to celebrate him and only had a few days to plan this. Mr. Brews GM and Manager (Rachel) were so wonderful in helping coordinate and called in extra staff to assist. The food was great and the wait staff/kitchen were so helpful. We appreciate how caring and wonderful they all were. I would highly recommend Mr. Brews for every day dining/drinks, but also for gatherings. They were wonderful hosts to such an important day for our family! read more

Party of 6 and a midday visit for our group of first timers. Smiles and hellos when we walked in, we were driving back to Chicago and looked up good burger spots so we stopped here. Ordered cheese curds and onion rings as apps, curds were good, the rest of the group got in in the O Rings. Our server got drinks fairly quickly so that was solid. Food came out about 10-12 minutes after apps although one chicken burger took an extra 5+minutes and we all waited so by the time we started eating, fries were chilly. Having stumbled across this restaurant due to some social media advertising, it had been open for a little bit before I got a chance to make it out there. A quick search will show they are a chain popping up around Wisconsin with a focus on beer and burgers. We came here for a late lunch. The seating was abundant as there were very few people in there during our time there. We were greeted quickly as we walked in and took a seat at the table. All their beers are listed on the board behind the bar and is rather extensive. They must have 50 beers on tap at any one time. We ordered a flight and a few burgers. The beer was good and the burgers were very good, but the fries are pretty bad. They are limp and tasteless. They could use some flavoring and perhaps a way to get them a little crispier. We commented on how this may be a nice place to pop in for a beer and burger..... But man... the service... inconsistent. They seemed to be running on a skeleton crew which I can understand but that means you really need to step up your game. Everything just seemed to take longer than it should have for few people were in the restaurant. Some unsolicited advice: 1.) Figure out your fries. With so few items on the menu you really should be making sure everything is solid. 2.) Figure out your beer flight system. Maybe paddles with the ability to use dry erase or chalk so we know what we are drinking. I will be giving this place another try since there are so few places to get decent beers by us, but may not be my first option. read more

Casual sophistication. With the only bartender doubling as host, wait staff and server. Our lady of the hour, managed multiple orders. Well done. We were presented with two excellent Bourdon flavored burgers along with flavorful sides of fries and seasoned chips. All and all, could be a five star, but I prefer house seasoned chips to be warmed. Mine were not. Also not a fan video gambling machines. Just my preference. Aside from that, will return for encore. Super awesome place. 1. Very nice relaxed atmosphere. I wasn't here during a real busy time, but it was not too noisy, no loud music. 2. The servers were the most FRIENDLY people that we have ever had. Very personable. The cook/owner ? Came and spoke with us, took our order and was extremely kind, generous and friendly. Made a deep impression on us. 3. The beer was outstanding. If a brew pub only offers easy to get brews, then why go?? This place had some pretty solid offerings and hard to get craft beer. Very impressed. 4. Had a jalapeño burger and fries. Delish! I am picky out fries and burgers, but was very satisfied. Reasonable prices! Highly recommend!!! This place is the ultimate okay. Stopped here for light lunch and a couple beers on a football Sunday. The place was very busy, but we didn't have to wait for a table which was nice. The food menu was small, basic bar foods burgers, wings, etc - we tried the wings and sliders from the appetizer - both were decent. We also got a very cold greasy basket of fries which we sent back. The beer menu had about 52 tap beers - wowza. Service was decent. Friendly and attentive. Overall - the experience was decent. I can't say I'd jump at the opportunity to return though. read more

This is definitely a place to come for beer, not food. They have a nice large selection on tap and bottled. The burgers are all cooked medium well to well done per the menu. Burgers are maybe 1/3 lb patties and come Ala carte. You have to order sides like fries separately. For $7.99 and up I would expect at least a 1/2 lb patty and the ability to order your burger to temp. I ordered the mushroom Swiss and quite frankly it wasn't any better than Hardee's mushroom Swiss which is also 1/3 lb Patty and at least $2 cheaper. The fries were soft, not crispy at all. They should go to the double fry method to get them crispy. Overall the food was adequate but IMO a bit overpriced for the quality. I don't see myself coming back. read more

This place is not great. We were sat near the window where the kitchen places the food that is ready for serving but it's also the same place the dirty dishes are placed and the entire time we were there we did not see the area washed once. Some of the kitchen staff were wearing gloves but some were not and the ones who were wearing gloves were seen walking around touching walls and tables wearing the same gloves. One of the kitchen staff also blew his nose and never wash his hands. I give this place a solid F for cleanliness. Our server was not very attentive at all. I think she was new but if not then the service also sucks here. There was some filling happening tonight for some food network show and the staff seemed more focused on that activity then the guests who were paying for their food tonight. The wall of carefully selected tap craft beer is a wonderful greeting upon entry! The pours are pretty fresh which is a good indication of attention to quality when there are 59 different taps to select from. On a Monday at noon, the place is pretty dead so service was attentive but nothing out of the ordinary. I went with the classic cheeseburger with all the toppings and cheddar to see how the patty was without frills. The burger was nothing to be impressed by and the toasted bun was a little over toasted for my liking but I killed it with little effort. The fresh-cut fries were a huge disappointment, however; overly greasy and totally salt-free. With a beer selection that's really solid for the area and the fact it's 2 minutes from my work, I'll likely be back for the occasional pint. read more

My friend and I visited on a Saturday night, it was not super busy at all. We walked in and we're told to seat ourselves. We waited for over 20 minutes as waiters/waitresses walked past us and around us and no one came over to help us or even talk to us. If it would have been super busy I would have understood but it wasn't. I have a feeling that this is the kind of place where if you're not a regular you'll get ignored.
