Hey if you're reading this and considering it just go for it. It's more than just a gym, it's a life changing experience when working with Chris. I've worked with him in the past and he just keeps getting better. If you're curious about the atmosphere, just know it's worth every penny.

Before joining Paradise Gym, I was consistent in the gym but I was doing a lot of ego lifting and always trying to push the heaviest weights. Training with Chris taught me to put my pride to the side and focus on getting better, more efficient workouts instead of just lifting heavy. Since working with Chris, I've learned different techniques and stretches that have really helped my mobility, which I had been struggling with for years. The coaching you get from Chris is helpful and real. He actually takes the time to teach you how to move better and train smarter. The environment at Paradise Gym is also a huge reason why I enjoy being there. Everyone is on a mission to get better in all aspects of life, and you can feel that energy right when you walk through the doors. Chris even challenged me to introduce myself to everyone at the gym, and every person I met was welcoming and supportive. The gym truly feels like a home, and the people there feel like a family. I would recommend Paradise Gym to anyone who is serious about making a real change in their life and reaching their fitness goals. I honestly don't see myself ever going back to a commercial gym because there really isn't a place better than Paradise.

I was finally able to do so and can't express how happy I am that I finally did. Before working out with Chris I was fairly athletic and went to the gym about 5 to 6 days a week. I used all the apps and went off of what people posted online. I was just never really able to get my body to where I wanted. Thats where I am happy I finally met Chris as he pushes me every workout to get closer and closer to my goal body. Due to his training I was finally able to reach a goal that I had always set for myself but could never accomplish. He helped me get there with such ease, that, I was finally able to question myself, and wonder how far I can push myself and how much more I can grow with his help. In the darkest times during COVID Chris helped not only push me in accomplishing goals, but also be there as a friend to help me through mental and emotional stress I struggled with. He became not only my trainer but also my psychiatrist and a great friend. Being gay I was very nervous going to a gym that is known for body building, but quickly I realized that the environment is extremely friendly and a no judgement zone. Everyone helps to motivate each other and not just be friends at the gym but outside the gym as well. Chris goes the extra mile to create friendships between clients that extend outside the gym. The friendships with his other clients and him helps make the obstacles in achieving fitness goals easier. Whether its from pushing yourself for the last rep, or helping in eating the right things, Chris and friends at Cutz help you get there. Not just so you can physically look how you want but, to help you get to a better wellbeing. I have personally gained about 25lbs in muscle all thanks to Chris's help. I would recommend Chris's program to anyone that truly wants to change their life and reach goals they have trouble achieving on their own. The hardest part of the journey is taking the first step, going in. After that it becomes a whole lot easier, because you have Chris as your trainer, therapist, motivational coach, and most importantly, as your friend, to stand with you and help you the rest of the way. I was in my most unhealthy state, physically and mentally, and haven't stepped into the gym in…read moreseveral years. I was 172 lbs at 5'5. I woke up tired and sluggish, miserable every day. I knew I had to take action to get myself to a place where I didn't feel awful anymore, so I stepped into Cutz Training Facility. I was scared my first session, not knowing what I was getting into and did not think I would last through the entire one-hour workout. I pushed and got through it, moving my body in ways I didn't even think was possible. The trainers and members of the gym were so motivating and patient with me. I immediately felt like I was part of a family. I came back and kept at it for a week. I took a chance and officially joined the six week transformation program. I can honestly say that it was truly life-changing... I was skeptical at first and didn't think I'd lose any weight, especially given my love for food. I initially wanted to drop 5 lbs and improve my mental health. Six weeks later, I dropped 13 lbs, averaging a drop of 2 to 3 lbs a week! I'm beyond my six weeks and I am still dropping weight at the same rate --on my own from everything I learned through the program! The crazy thing is, there was NO MEAL PLAN. I was still able to continue my current lifestyle and eat the foods I loved. The trade-off I had to make was to eat in moderation and incorporate more protein and vegetables, which was easier to accomplish than I thought. I am so incredibly grateful for the experience I gained from Arman and all the trainers at the gym - Jose, Richelle, Karina, Chris, Erica. Everyone is truly wonderful to work with, genuinely cares about your well-being, and pushes you hard to achieve your desired results. Cutz has all my love! The program has not only improved my overall health, but has also inspired me to focus and prioritize what matters most to me in my personal life and my career.

Not only did Camilo help me to drop the quarantine 15, he provided me with custom macro nutrient plan that is sustainable for me. No diets, no extreme plans, just a new, healthy mindset that completely changed the way I view food and exercise. His plan is approachable and still allows me to live my life in a way that doesn't feel like I'm being restricted. I would highly recommend working with Camilo! Then I started at Orange Theory where the first time in my life I enjoyed "the gym" and met Camilo. I knew that my exercise was doing good for me but I knew little about nutrition and how really changing my diet could shift my body and health even more, so I decided to work with Camilo to learn and see what was possible. Camilo taught me to track my food, and about macros- how it's important not to eat less than your metabolic base, to eat enough protein to build muscle and boost your metabolism, and to cut carbs to a sustainable but lowered amount. I learned to track my steps and how to incorporate more walking into my day even though I have a desk job. I learned a lot more about lifting weights, and started lifting heavier than I've ever done and feeling stronger than I've ever been. It was not easy, but every week I lost about a pound. After 14 weeks I lost about 14 pounds roughly, went from 33.5% to 24.8% body fat, and lost about 1.25 inches off my waistline. Throughout it all Camilo was incredibly supportive. Through his biweekly check ins and just generally being on call to support when I had questions or felt frustrated and wanted to give up because I felt progress was too slow or too hard. I do generally feel he helped me learn to live in a way that I can sustainably lose weight if I want to and still enjoy my life - no starving yourself or enjoying that things that make you happy. It forced me to learn to make new recipes, understand portion sizes better, incorporate WAY more protein and ultimately drink less (which is one on my vices). I'm overall healthier and happier and I don't think I could have done it without Camilo's coaching along the way- he will be your constant cheerleader! I highly recommend. Even if it's just for a while to learn how to do it, it can be an empowering experience!

I would never know they were there if a friend hadn't talked about them over and over to us. We were in need of some fitness assistance and guidance anyway so we decided to see what was up. Overtake we are glad we came to Authentic Fitness and met our trainer, "Cat". He is a very chill guy with a laid back positive vibe and a lot of knowledge of Fitness and diet. Cat made sure to learn what our individual goals are, our present states of fitness, and what challenges we faced. Then he put together a well laid out fitness plan that has been positive for us in ability and results. Add to that Cat is just a cool guy to chat with also. The only reason for the missing fifth star is some aspects of the facility could use some fixing up. The bathroom is not in good shape and it isn't uncommon to not have something to dry your hands with. Some of the medicine balls need to simply be thrown away/replaced. A couple of machines don't have functioning height adjustability. So some funding should go into these areas but aside from that, good place to get in shape with personalized attention and no meat market feel or giant crowd of posers showing off for each other.
