I first started my training with Chris Mags about 9 months ago. Working out at Cutz has always been something I wanted to do as I always see them being tagged on body builder and athletes social media profiles. I was finally able to do so and can't express how happy I am that I finally did. Before working out with Chris I was fairly athletic and went to the gym about 5 to 6 days a week. I used all the apps and went off of what people posted online. I was just never really able to get my body to where I wanted. Thats where I am happy I finally met Chris as he pushes me every workout to get closer and closer to my goal body. Due to his training I was finally able to reach a goal that I had always set for myself but could never accomplish. He helped me get there with such ease, that, I was finally able to question myself, and wonder how far I can push myself and how much more I can grow with his help. In the darkest times during COVID Chris helped not only push me in accomplishing goals, but also be there as a friend to help me through mental and emotional stress I struggled with. He became not only my trainer but also my psychiatrist and a great friend. Being gay I was very nervous going to a gym that is known for body building, but quickly I realized that the environment is extremely friendly and a no judgement zone. Everyone helps to motivate each other and not just be friends at the gym but outside the gym as well. Chris goes the extra mile to create friendships between clients that extend outside the gym. The friendships with his other clients and him helps make the obstacles in achieving fitness goals easier. Whether its from pushing yourself for the last rep, or helping in eating the right things, Chris and friends at Cutz help you get there. Not just so you can physically look how you want but, to help you get to a better wellbeing. I have personally gained about 25lbs in muscle all thanks to Chris's help. I would recommend Chris's program to anyone that truly wants to change their life and reach goals they have trouble achieving on their own. The hardest part of the journey is taking the first step, going in. After that it becomes a whole lot easier, because you have Chris as your trainer, therapist, motivational coach, and most importantly, as your friend, to stand with you and help you the rest of the way. PS. Always bring your own pre-workout. ( Feel free to ask about what this means on your first day xD ) read more

I was in my most unhealthy state, physically and mentally, and haven't stepped into the gym in several years. I was 172 lbs at 5'5. I woke up tired and sluggish, miserable every day. I knew I had to take action to get myself to a place where I didn't feel awful anymore, so I stepped into Cutz Training Facility. I was scared my first session, not knowing what I was getting into and did not think I would last through the entire one-hour workout. I pushed and got through it, moving my body in ways I didn't even think was possible. The trainers and members of the gym were so motivating and patient with me. I immediately felt like I was part of a family. I came back and kept at it for a week. I took a chance and officially joined the six week transformation program. I can honestly say that it was truly life-changing... I was skeptical at first and didn't think I'd lose any weight, especially given my love for food. I initially wanted to drop 5 lbs and improve my mental health. Six weeks later, I dropped 13 lbs, averaging a drop of 2 to 3 lbs a week! I'm beyond my six weeks and I am still dropping weight at the same rate --on my own from everything I learned through the program! The crazy thing is, there was NO MEAL PLAN. I was still able to continue my current lifestyle and eat the foods I loved. The trade-off I had to make was to eat in moderation and incorporate more protein and vegetables, which was easier to accomplish than I thought. I am so incredibly grateful for the experience I gained from Arman and all the trainers at the gym - Jose, Richelle, Karina, Chris, Erica. Everyone is truly wonderful to work with, genuinely cares about your well-being, and pushes you hard to achieve your desired results. Cutz has all my love! The program has not only improved my overall health, but has also inspired me to focus and prioritize what matters most to me in my personal life and my career. read more

I trained with Arman 7 years ago, and I loved my results then, that's why when I decided to get back on track this year, I knew it had to be with Cutz Training Facility again. Easily one of the best decisions I made. I opted for the 8-week group training. I thought every aspect of the workout would be done in big groups, but it ended up being more personalized than that. Aside from the weekly check-ins online, Arman also constantly asked us how we were doing and feeling. He sat me down when I was doubting myself and he really took the time to listen and gave me advice that uplifted me and kept me focused. Each client also had a different meal plan depending on their needed calorie intakes and convenience. As a mom, I appreciated this! I was able to prep certain things, and make other meals as I go. The workouts were done in smaller groups for the most part, so while some people were doing legs, others were working on shoulders, etc. The trainers walked around giving us instructions and checking our forms, and we'd usually end with group circuit workouts. As daunting as lifting weights seemed, having trainers and workout buddies who encouraged me along the way definitely made an impact. I actually looked forward to going to the gym!! I'm definitely grateful I was able to learn from amazing trainers like Arman, Danelle, Karina, and Ruth! Each one of them were knowledgeable, supportive, and encouraging. They're all goals, lol! Check them out. Just show up, stick to the diet, and let them help you reach your goals! read more

I first started coming to Cutz last year during summer and signed up for the 8 week program. I've always had an on again/off again relationship with the gym and fitness where I would spend months eating unhealthy then try to undo it with different diets. I would cut out carbs completely, try trendy diets, not eat enough and often would fail and go right back to my old ways. I also never really knew what to do coming into the gym and would usually feel intimidated by everything. Getting to work with all of the trainers at Cutz has definitely changed my life. I know it sounds like an exaggeration, but it really couldn't be more accurate. All of the trainers have so much experience and knowledge that I believe they can help anyone accomplish their fitness goals if they are willing to put in the work. Whether you want to train for shows or are just looking for a new place to work out, this is that place. They listen to every person's goals and needs to get them not only looking great, but feeling great as well. The amount of positive energy everyone brings makes my day and continues to motivate me every time I come back. When you train at Cutz you're treated like family because it really is one. Everyone supports and motivates each other to be their best selves. I've learned so much by coming here from working out, eating healthier, living a better life, and so much more. I really couldn't recommend a better place to get in shape. TL;DR the trainers are amazing, got in shape, forever changed my life read more

I love this gym! CTF isn't your typical big box gym, it's a place where you know the trainers and work towards your goals with confidence. They offer programs help you reach your specific goal and give you the knowledge and motivation throughout your time with them. They also have a wide variety of new workout equipment and machines to use! I've had the pleasure of working with Arman two different times. -He helped get down to weight before a Muay Thai fight with a customized nutrition plan that worked with my training. His communication and support is something I'll never forget, it made a usually stressful time much easier. -The second time he worked with me was post pregnancy. I was slowly getting back into the groove of working out and felt so big and uncomfortable in my body. Once again he guided me through a plan that I felt comfortable with and helped me gain confidence. I've also joined a few group classes and they are no joke! The workouts are fun, the music is great, and you'll always leave sweating! CTF transforms people's bodies and pushes them towards a healthy lifestyle, you should definitely check them out! read more

I LOVE this place! It's already rare to find a gym that's clean and easy to get to, but it's even rarer to find trainers that actually know what they're doing, super KIND and above all, has your best interest in mind. Cutz Training Facility is not only a passion turned into pursuit, but ambition turned into success. The people behind this gym work hard, but yet make it look effortless. You can't help but respect and appreciate the gym and the people behind it. CTF is a one stop shop for all things: lifestyle change, education to navigate what could otherwise be an intimidating stare down with weights, but most importantly is built around a community of people that spur each other on with patience, passion and perseverance. read more

First, I want to say thank you to Arman, Chris, Jose, Richelle, and the rest of the trainers at Cutz Training Facility. This gym I give a 5 stars to because they stand out from all other gyms. Here there is a team of well trained, certified, and proven trainers that will get you on the right track to meet your goals. Their focus is not just one thing. They will guide you through your form and technic to make sure you maximize your efforts. They will give you a meal plan but more importantly focus it around changing bad habits (which is one of my biggest down falls). On top of that you will be treated like family. You get motivation, encouragement, and their full attention to see that you strive for success. If that is what you need like I did then I would highly recommend you go check this gym out. Arman and his team at Cutz are amazing! I use to hate going to the gym. But now I love it. I feel more confident using the equipment and especially lifting weights. It has changed my whole outlook on working out. The gym is very well kept. It is super clean and has everything you may need. Saturday's are by far my favorite. Danelle and her father are the best. I'd never thought I'd be learning Kickboxing and Muay Thai as part of my workout but I'm loving it! Would definitely recommend this gym (: read more

If I still lived in the Bay Area I would definitely be going to Cutz! I worked with Arman as an online client and it's apparent he's passionate about fitness and helping others reach their goals. In the six months that we worked together I not only lost weight and built muscle, but I felt myself becoming more confident both in and outside the gym. Arman is a friendly, professional guy and I'm so grateful for all of his help during my fitness journey, and I would absolutely recommend his gym and services. read more

If I could give it 6 stars i would ! Heck I would give 10! Working with Arman was the best thing decision I made. He's countless support and motivation always pushed me but honestly he was just a good friend, he always tries too see how you are doing and you can see how much he cares. I am fortunate to still be in contact with him and even though I don't work out with him he still helps me out giving me advice when I need it. You can see how dedicated he is at his work . Before working out with him I would feel nervous and shy to go workout in gyms, but once he helped me with my form I slowly became confident he's really helped me a lot! I definitely recommend working with him! read more

Definitely a 5 star gym with a 5 star experience! The idea of training at CTF as someone who is not so familiar with equipment was a bit intimidating, but as soon as I walked in on a Saturday class I felt right at home. The atmosphere at CTF is always also a plus during my training! Looking around the room I saw the relationships between trainers and clients more as friends than well, trainers and clients. I loved all the songs they played and for sure jammed out a bit between my workouts lol. As someone who works out only *occasionally*, Arman closely guided me and made sure my workouts were geared to push me, not too much, but totally enough. He watched and corrected my form throughout my workout as well as challenged me to use equipment I've never used before. Even with all my stretching I was so sore the next 3 days! This gym is always clean, upbeat, and welcoming. Every workout at Cutz Training Facility motivates me to be on top of my game and slow down and enjoy the process!! Thanks Arman & Danelle! read more

Joining Cutz was probably one of the best decisions I ever made. The college lifestyle can put a toll on your health so I was lucky to have been introduced to Arman right after graduating and moving back to the Bay Area. From the moment I walked into Cutz, I felt so welcomed. During my experience at the boot camp, I was also introduced to Ruth, a true sweetheart. Both Arman and Ruth helped me accomplish so many goals within just the 8 weeks and they never let me give up on myself. Their coaching truly is life changing. I was having such a great experience there that I decided to do 1 on 1 training after the 8 weeks were over. Through my time at Cutz, Arman and Ruth did not only become my amazing trainers but also great friends who truly motivate you to be the best you can be! read more

A great investment! I bought 1-on-1 training with Richelle L and it's been life changing. I never knew how hard I could push myself until training with her. She's super knowledgeable and has a great attitude! I'd recommend her to anyone who is serious about getting into shape. She held me accountable and really pushed me with out over doing it. Didn't think I'd be the type to hit the gym 4x a week and do heavy weight lifting but I've never been happier!! Thank you Cutz Facility for having a trainer as amazing as Richelle!! She's also a talented massage therapist! Had one of the best massages from her. She really gets the knots out! read more

Joining Cutz was the best decision I made in 2018. Before joining Cutz, I was just this skinny fellow who was in this recycled loop in my life where I just worked, played video games, and then go to sleep. I was going depression almost on a daily basis and I really wanted to change my life around. Prior to joining, I tried to go to the gym on numerous occasions and always ended up giving up. Even when I tried going to the gym and exercise consistently for a few weeks, I did not really see or feel any changes in myself. One night, I took a moment and asked myself how serious and committed I was to turning my life around. I found Arman's Instagram and saw all these people he helped on his page. I noticed all those people earned tremendous results in just a couple of months training with him. I thought to myself, if he was able to help these people achieve their goal in those few months, I could do the same because I spent the same amount of time on my own and I did not get the results I wished for. I came into his gym as this shy, chubby, miserable, defeated shell of a person. Within 3 months, he helped me lose almost 30 pounds while developing greater muscle mass and tone all throughout my body. Losing the weight was great, but it is what I gained from my experience training with Arman that I truly appreciate. 6 months later, and I feel rejuvenated and like a completely new person. I gained so much confidence from the last few months. It isn't just from losing the weight. It's because every training session, Arman pushed me to go beyond my limits and reminded me of why I am doing this for myself. He made me believe that I can achieve my goal and that I shouldn't give up. When you have someone like Arman telling you that you are capable, you believe you are capable of doing anything and that in return affects all aspects of your life. Because you become confident in doing in so many more things outside the gym as well. It gave me the confident to apply for the job that I never thought I was going to get. (Yes, I got the job too, by the way.) It gave me the confidence to socialize with others and make new friends inside and outside of the gym. Arman is the catalyst for the key to success. Give yourself a chance and sign up with him. Because you can achieve your goal and gain so much from training with him that you will see just how truly beautiful your life can be. You can finally fit in those slimmer sizes you always wished you could wear. You can lift things you couldn't before on your own. You will bare all the confidence and tools you need to make what you feel like you need to be satisfied come true. Do not tell yourself you do not have the time or the money. This experience is for you. You are worth it. Every second and penny you spent training with him is FOR YOU. You deserve this. Do not hesitate. Arman is the embodiment of motivation, dedication, and hard-work. Let him inspire you like he did for me. He has become my role model and everything I wish to be one day. Give your all to him because he is giving his all to you. It's a symbiotic relationship where it requires you both to give it everything you got and you both will benefit. Sign up right now. Be happy sooner. P.S. ALWAYS CHECK IN EVERY WEEK! No matter how small the progress may seem, it's the little things that matters and you will come to enjoy how far you have come from the day you started to the date you post your own review for others hoping to make the same difference. read more

Arman and Sam are both amazing! I first signed up for Arman's 8 week program and I started seeing results immediately! It was so much fun working out with other people. It's truly motivating! Arman and Danelle were super helpful and made sure that we enjoyed our work outs. In 8 weeks my body got super toned. After my 8 week program was over I started working out with Sam and I was with him for about 3 months. Sam kept me motivated to reach my end goal. Every time I felt like giving up, he encouraged me to push myself. Overall, Arman and Sam are both amazing trainers and they truly care about you reaching your goal! Dieting is definitely a challenge but they always kept in contact with me to make sure that everything was okay. I was so happy with my results! read more

Arman continues to inspire me everyday through life's challenges. looking back before I started with you I struggled with loads of depression and because of so I gained tons of weight because to me that was how I dealt with the world. But then I came across you and it changed my whole world and outlook about food. I learned a big amount of nutrition I didnt even know about. Fast forward to today I'm feeling good reaching goals. I'm where I'm suppose to be. I love the challenges I go through and I will forever be grateful for everything I've learned. I encourage other folks to come check you out seriously. Your a great fit for multiple people. You listen, inspire, push and keep us in shape. You don't doubt you continue to help us grow. Even If we slipped you help us get back on the saddle. I really hope and pray that people see what good you bring to them and their lives. As I'm writing this I'm sweating and thinking dang I just really got through this workout. Like most people I am not the pinnacle of fitness. I often make poor choices when it comes to food and diet and don't exercise on a regular basis. After a long day of work and coming home to my kids The motivation to work out isn't there. However, I was tired, tired of feeling tired. So I made the decision to do something about it. I contacted Arman on social media and it was the best decision of my life. We met up and went over the logistics. I was slightly intimidated by the idea of "lifting" but excited to try something new. Arman was extremely professional and made me feel comfortable at all times. He allowed me to move at my own pace but always gave me the extra motivation to push harder. Along with training he provided a meal plan and optional supplements that helped my stay in track and achieve maximum results. I trained with him for 6 months, I lost 17 pounds and the shape of my body started to change in ways I didn't know were possible. Without his help and support I don't know that I would have been able to achieve these results. He educated me on proper posture, how to use the "scary" gym equipment and how to use free weights. I feel completely confident walking into a gym knowing I have been trained by one of the best. I can honestly say that he is more than just a trainer, he is a life coach and a friend. He helped me not only with physical strength but mental strength as well. I highly recommend his services. read more
