I had a great experience dining here. The food was delicious and the staffs were very fast and friendly. I ordered crab fried rice, super yummy, udon seafood, and eggnoodle with shrimps. No service only food delivered to your table you had to order at the counter and pay before you sat down. Once you got your food you never had anyone return to check on your table. We had the following dishes.... PhoBo skimpy on ingredients broth tasty but oily and needed more depth, and not super hot, shrimp and pork sui mei less than hot, 8.5/10 flavor, charsui bao filling bland sweetish shredded pork filling but overall temp warmish, Garlic stir fried veggies were tasty but some of the veg were far undercooked and not edible 5/10, I know you also would expect perfectly cooked vegetables in an Asian restaurant too. 2 orders of green tea which was so pungent and couldn't be finished must have in a hot ern stewing for a couple hours$65 dollars for self service for 2 persons and food only barely 2 stars at best. I haven't been to morongo in a long time. My husband and I decided to eat at Mozen. We were a bit confused on how things worked here. It looked like there were serveral areas you could order from. An employee approached us, and explained how everything worked. I guess you can only order food to go at the boba bar or you can sit down inside the restaurant. We decided to eat inside. The manager was so helpful and got us seated. She made sure we were taken care throughout our dinner which was nice. Our server Jessica was a sweetheart. Thank you to our server Jessica and the manager Daniela. The food was also so good! Lots of flavor we had the spring rolls, kungpao chicken, and lomein. Looking forward to coming back! read more

My wife and I had our wedding rehearsal lunch at Mozen, and we could not be more pleased with the customer service, quality of the food, and overall vibes of this restaurant. From day one, when we spoke with Joria about 6 months prior to the event, we were impressed with how helpful and responsive the staff was in answering our questions and accommodating to all our unique requests (such as being willing to store our cupcakes and serve them to our guests after the lunch). On the day of the lunch, our guests were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. We were soon served tasty asian cuisine and creative boba drinks. Despite our large event (50 people) for a somewhat smaller restaurant, Joria and her staff were present and available throughout our meal. Afterwards, they graciously packed up all our food in to-go boxes and gave them to guests to take home. It was such a joy to see guests stick around and chat well after the meal was over because they were enjoying themselves so much at Mozen. 5+ stars to this delicious and homey restaurant! read more

We just bought 4 orders of Korean short rib dinners to go. We got home and open the boxes. To go box came with nothing but bones, I think they are all the meat or packed the left over from other customers left behind. So disgusting I will never go back!! Came here after a friend recommended this restaurant. The host warmly greeted my group and immediately sat us at our table. Our server was very nice and friendly. We ordered pot stickers and pork buns to start. The food came out fast. The filling in the pork buns was really good and tasted authentic. We also ordered chicken fried rice and the bulgogi beef. The fried rice was amazing. I definitely recommend it. After we finished eating we decided to go get a drink from the bar. The Bartender, Joshua was fantastic. We wanted to try something new so he asked us a few questions and made us drinks based on that. The three of us each got a personalized drink and they were SO GOOD!! We've been going to morongo for about 10 years now and he's by far the best bartender we've come across. Personable and makes a hell of a drink! Restaurant is somewhat open to Casino, so not a complete getaway from the noise. Menu is the greatest hits of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese & Thai food. Service is excellent & attentive. I came here with my family for dinner during our holiday. We love everything that we ordered. Spicy chicken wings, lo mein, seafood fried rice are so delicious and flavorful, and yes, they are all served hot. Their lychee smoothies and their alcohol drinks menu are also so good. Whatever you do, don't order fried rice. The last 2 visits we went there, the fried rice came in 40mins after the other dishes were served and that's after bugging the server & manager to send it. It's supposed to be an Asian restaurant but the freaking fried rice comes in SO late. The manager's lame excuse was, you have to specifically ask the cashier to send everything ALL at the same time. I typically don't leave reviews but they definitely deserve the recognition. Excellent service. Food was exceptional! I've dined at cielo and other restaurants in the casino. This has to be one of the best places to eat hands down. Mozen is one of the best things Morongo has to offer. I had the Beef pho with a Passion fruit tea and my husband had the Korean style short ribs with a water and a milk tea drink. The wait was relatively short. Didn't even get a chance to take a picture of the food before. It looked so good we immediately began eating. Perfect place for date night. Will be back again soon. read more

As soon as I walked in, the manager, Daniela accompanied me and made sure everything was well and when I sat down, Matthew and Joria checked in on me every so often and made sure everything was OK and always had a smile on their faces. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada and I drive through this area every couple of months or so. A friend recently told me about Mozen, which had just opened up inside the Morongo Casino. I decided that I would stop in for dinner the next time I was in the area, so that's what I did. This is a very unique restaurant! Here in Las Vegas, we have just about every type of food available that you can imagine, but I have never seen or heard of a restaurant like Mozen before. There are some fusion restaurants out there that combine multiple styles into new recipes, but this was different. Mozen has traditional menu items from several separate Asian countries. From what I remember, they had items from Japan, China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, and possibly others that I'm forgetting. We all have dishes that we like from our favorite restaurants of all of these cuisines, but we're never able to order the various items in one establishment. An example of this would be the Japanese style seaweed salad and the Chinese Kung Pao Chicken that I ordered, both of which would compare to the best you'll find in the respective restaurants of those cuisines. I wasn't familiar with several of the items on the menu, but the server took her time to patiently explain everything to me. I've always thought that it's best to ask if I'm unsure of something. They also had a lot of special cocktails, such a a pomegranate Manhattan that I ordered. This was a delightful twist on a classic beverage. This layout of this restaurant and the bar area, were both very modern and extremely stylish, while remaining very comfortable. Overall, it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere with very friendly and attentive service. The next time that you're driving between Palm Springs and the LA area, definitely check out Mozen, you won't be disappointed! read more

Mozen is a little gem located right below the elevators at the Morongo Casino. From the looks of it this is a brand new restaurant with an amazing Asian Fusion Menu. This is Morongo's NEW Asian restaurant after the long remodeling at the casino that caused so much inconvenience. On a busy holiday weekend, after a long evening of casino action and excitement, I made my way to Mozen to order some food to go. It was exactly 11:00pm. After waiting in a short line to place my order, as I approached the counter, I was told that Mozen is closed for the evening at 11:00pm. I was shocked that this restaurant would close so early when the casino was still jammed pack with guests, Many of them famished like myself. The previous weekend, I ordered the beef pho to go. Mozen was so busy, they told me to come back in one hour to pick up my order. It turns out that the soup leaked out of the cup and filled the plastic bag it was in. The beef pho was cold and inedible. I gave Mozen two stars because the service is unacceptable. The food itself is average but the service at Mozen is a total failure. I get the strong feeling from this restaurant that they DO NOT CARE about their customers. read more
