The boxes came right away, and Chris even arrived early to load them onto the cart before calling to tell us he was there. He couldn't have been friendlier. The boxes are in great condition too. Some look a little more used than others, but for the most part you can barely tell. Placed my order on Thursday for delivery this morning, Saturday. Super easy to use Website and ordering platform. Our delivery window was 10am-12pm. Chris (?) called around 8:45am with a courtesy call asking if it would be ok to deliver the supplies a little early. Yes of course! He was here at 9am, super friendly, brought all supplies directly into our condo and said if we need any more to just give him a call and included his card. The boxes look great! This service is exactly as it should be - clean, recycled boxes delivered to your door (in my case, the same day as my request) with a friendly handshake, packing tape, and wrapping paper. The boxes are used, but hardly - most importantly for me, they were clean inside and were a bargain! Chris was timely, friendly, and threw in a few extra boxes with his delivery of our "One Bedroom" package, which was $49 with two large rolls of packing tape and paper for wrapping fragile items. This service was recommended to me by a friend, and I was pleasantly surprised by the great service, and happy to know there is someone out there creating such a simple solution to packing, with an environmentally-friendly angle. What a great deal! This guy showed up at my door with a van full of broken down, flattened boxes. Sure I have to tape up the bottoms, but they are big, sturdy boxes, ready to move and about $1 a piece. I felt like I hit the motherload seeing 40 boxes in my house. I was completely frustrated when I checked out the price of moving boxes at UHaul. I was going to need about $200 worth of boxes to pack everything. Somehow I stumbled upon movingboxesnow. They delivered my boxes within 3 HOURS! THEY SHOW UP AT YOUR HOUSE WITH ALL THE BOXES YOU NEED! AMAZING! You can't really get better service than that. The boxes were gently used but ALL useable. I got the 2 bedroom package for $99 and it was enough boxes for my entire condo. The owner, who delivered the boxes, even helped me carry them up to my condo. What an awesome business model. This company solves several important problems: Box transportation - I don't have a car. A bunch of flat boxes is not the easiest thing to carry around. I also can't easily grab free boxes if those are available anywhere. This company solves that problem by delivering boxes within a delivery window that you specify Box cost - new boxes are expensive, these end up being about half the cost of new boxes. Box waste - lets face it, buying new boxes for a single move and then throwing them away is a waste. These reused boxes are in great condition. There is zero advantage to buying a new box. I got the 1BR package I haven't done my actual move yet, but I am assuming that will not impact my rating. read more
