I did send a text letting them know that if they did commit fraud and scammed us, that we were within our rights to press charges. At that point, the husband started blowing up my phone, first claiming I broke the items (despite the fact that I have copious evidence that they not only broke the items, but were aware of it), then saying he tried to fix it and nobody got back to him (also false) then threatening me with a lawsuit and making generic statements of intimidation. I asked him several times to cease contact and have his wife (the supposed business manager) get in contact with me to see if there was a way we could resolve the issue. He did not stop, though I have blocked his number. His office management has still not reached out to resolve the issue. I paid this company over $750 and the entire experience was a complete disaster from start to finish. First of all, the workers they sent could barely speak or understand English, which made communication extremely difficult the entire time. I would give simple instructions about what needed to be moved and what needed to be left alone, and they clearly did not understand or follow directions. The pace they worked at was unbelievable. At one point they were literally carrying things one pillow at a time up the stairs. Something that should have taken a short amount of time dragged on forever because they were moving so slowly and inefficiently. They also tried to move things that I specifically told them not to touch, while at the same time refusing to properly move items that I actually needed moved. I ended up having to help them myself and repeatedly explain how to do basic parts of the job. On top of that, they were extremely careless with my belongings. They dropped items and broke two of my televisions during the move. When you hire movers, you expect them to protect your things, not destroy them. To make matters even worse, when I later went through my storage unit I discovered that not everything had been moved out like it was supposed to be. Items were left behind and several of my power tools are now missing. At this point I have serious concerns that some of my property may have been stolen. Insisting that they can not process a claim with the pictures I provided and will not provide me with the name of their insurer or any other information to show that a claim was started or denied. Customer service is about as bad as it can get to resolve damage issues.
