They CANCELED my move on the scheduled day and left me high and dry... do not use them... I booked a move over a week in advance. First, a moving crew arrived at my apartment a day early and i was not ready to move. Turns out they input the date incorrectly, but agreed to move me the next day. Attempt two: movers arrive at my apartment, tell me their truck isnt big enough and leave!! They assured me they would be sending a bigger truck which did not happen. I call Movers Long Beach and was told there's nothing they can do, and can't send a crew to me for another week. But i'm already packed and my lease ends in 2 days. At this point, I had no options. I tried calling at least 40 other moving companies. Movers Long Beach provided terrible service, inadequate scheduling and no accommodation after they failed to send a properly sized truck (they asked no questions about the size of move...) EDIT: I guess they had my first review removed because they claimed I didn't use their service. Attaching email proof they cancelled on me same day

Only hire if you want your belongings damaged by not being wrapped and protected properly. And then being offered $50 as a goodwill gesture for ruining two beds, dresser, bookcase, and peloton tread.

So happy with the job they did! This was my first time using movers so I was somewhat nervous, but they offered such a great experience. My movers were efficient, polite, careful with my things, and genuinely nice guys! They also came in under what I had budgeted, I couldn't believe it! I've moved SO many times and usually dread moving day - these guys really changed my idea about how easy a move can be. I also really liked that I got to support a local family business. I would absolutely use them again!

You may be thrown away with the great reviews, but be careful, you might get fooled with their "professionalism". I got helped by Ali and his buddy, they were fast, polite, and good at what they do. I was impressed by the service until one thing that made me really mad and dissatisfied. That was my floor. When I went downstairs to grab something, I had a call which lasted 15 mins or more, when they noticed I was busy, they used their 4-wheel dolly inside the apartment, they used it to unload light boxes!! When I was around, they parked the dolly just by the apartment door and never got the dolly inside, but when they noticed I was taking a call, they allowed themselves to drag their dolly and scratch my vinyl floor. Right now, my new apartment has already been ruined. When I came back I noticed these lines and prints but I thought it's dust and just need some sweeping and cleaning. But guess what?? I have been cleaning my floor for the third week now, they never gone. I thought they would know better, I thought they would become more careful. Very disappointed.

If you go with this company, you should be so lucky to have Max and Dima on the job!

I am extremely, satisfied and grateful with this company's movers. The professionalism is incredible, they called 30 minutes prior and 10 minutes before they got here. Moving sucks and a lot of movers make it worse. These guys honestly do an incredible job and have a great attitude doing it! I used them twice now and have had a very good experience BOTH times. They show up on time, call you ahead of time, the window during which they come is small so you know when to be ready. They are also very reasonably priced at $85/hour if you pay cash for 2 guys and a huge truck. They even give you a small return customer discount of 5%. I just moved again last Friday and Mark and his teammate did a fabulous job wrapping all of my furniture, moving my giant couch that didn't fit in the elevator up three flights of stairs (!!!) and still were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this moving company and would use them again anytime :) read more

They broke the water line on my fridge, messed up a dresser drawer so that it doesn't open and close properly anymore (something is wrong with the track the drawer is on now), and they left the parts to our crib at the old place to put it back together. I called to complain and open a claim and have tried to email and call multiple times and still haven't heard back from anyone. It's been about a week of trying to talk to someone, and we had water damage in our kitchen and dining room that we need to get remediated because of the water line they broke. Oh and they also made a huge dent in the old houses wall that needs drywall repair. We used prodigy movers last time and had a great experience with them (same price) but they weren't available the day we needed them. Wish we had used them instead and saved ourselves a lot of trouble. read more

Wow! I have never been impressed by a moving company until now! These three guys were not only very quick, but they were extremely friendly also! They each treated our belongings with care and had great pricing! I had called multiple moving companies and most of them had a window of 3 hours for their arrival- I loved that their window was one hour (more time for moving rather than waiting) and they provided three men rather than two for the same price as other companies. Our move didn't take much time at all and they were very, very polite. I will definitely be recommending this company to others. read more

Ash and his set of mighty friends came to my rescue just in time. They came to our set move date and time on time and ready to go. We were unprepared but they helped us with boxing things and moving things.Most of all,they were able to move my 4 bedroom house (with three floors)carefully and without any damage.They carefully move a truck load of things to my new house and everything was packed with blackets and shrink wrapped.Prompt and timely given that they were hired per hour and they don't play around.Thank you for the amazing move day!! read more

A very heavy queen bed frame needs to be moved upstairs and assembled. Then box spring/mattress from old bed needs to go onto it. Can they do it?

They moved an entire bedroom (queen bed, armoire, dressers) for us from upstairs to down. They even had to take off the stair railing to make room for the armoire. They were very good/competent.

Gregory, our onsite lead, was responsive, well organized, and his four-person crew worked very hard. My advice to anyone moving is to be realistic about how much stuff you have. I got three quotes. One company estimated one-and-a-half 27-foot trucks, while Royal and another company estimated one 27-foot truck. My move-out apartment was 895 sq ft with a large patio. Before moving day, I made two 10-foot Home Depot truck trips myself with the delicate and bulky items: my electric bike, Peloton, and other things that don't stack well. Royal filled a 27-foot truck with everything else, efficiently using all the available space. We did go a little over the estimate because of rush-hour traffic. The only part I didn't enjoy was the payment app prompting for a tip at checkout. After a long moving day, that was one unnecessary stress point because I never know what's considered an appropriate tip for professional movers. Fortunately, I had already planned ahead with cash tips and cold Gatorades for the crew throughout the day. I highly recommend Royal Movers. They made a difficult move much easier. I also gained a whole new respect for my son, his friend, and my old girlfriend, who helped me move the last time. Movers Long Beach is regrettably a very unprofessional service, utilizing movers who will grossly abuse your time, lose your expensive items and throw olive oil in your suitcases which damages all items as the packed them. My move was scheduled for 12-2pm start time, and the arrival time was the only thing that was correct. The movers spent 5 hours moving a STUDIO apartment, and in the process, left behind several expensive items -- including two men's pea coats, silverware, and kitchen items that cost over $600 total. On arrival at our new place only 9 miles away, the movers were very rushed, and had no idea where they placed several of my very expensive items. They then demanded a cash tip, after being told several times we did not have cash on us, and appeared very irritated when we stated that we did not have cash on us, even going so far as to telling us they would drive us to the bank. Upon reporting this to management and Customer Service "Chloe", I was ignored and repeatedly not replied to after requesting immediate resolution to these losses and issues. The "manager" Shawn texts you to resolve your issues, then ignores you when you request urgent attention to your claim and compensation for the botched moving job. $1100 for a Studio apartment move -- if you want to pay over $1,000 to have your belongings lost, damaged with olive oil and careless tossing of your belongings and inattentive management -- this is your company ! I highly suggest changing your reservation if you are reserving this company -- far better options out there such as PURE Movers in L.A. ! Run away from this very unethical company, and don't look back ! *** Update: Shawn, the manager, will promise a refund for the stolen items and then renege on this the same day. I recently had a highly unsatisfactory experience with Muving that compelled me to share my feedback. The service provided by their workers was subpar, as they seemed unqualified and poorly spoken. To make matters worse, there was a discrepancy in the bill, which felt like a deliberate attempt to cheat me. Attempting to address the issue only escalated the problem, as I encountered a very rude manager. The unprofessionalism displayed by the staff left me feeling hesitant to contact them further, creating an environment of fear rather than resolving the issue amicably. Disturbingly, during the service, I observed some workers smoking weed and cigarettes, an inappropriate and unprofessional behavior, especially considering I have kids. To add to my dismay, a personal belonging, in this case, a watch, was stolen during the service. Felix, Bob. and BaBu arrived promptly. They notified me 30 minutes prior to their arrival to provide their approximate location and time they would be arriving, They were extremely courteous, worked diligently during the day, and treated us and out belongings with the utmost respect. I was so surprised before the job when Felix asked if it would be OK if they spoke their native language while working in my home! I thought that was really a great sign they respected their customers. They knew what they were doing. When they came to my new residence BaBu was removing my clothes from the wardrobe they provided and hanging up for me, which was something most movers expect the homeowner to do. I put clothes on top of one of the boxes and Bob cautioned me that the box was dirty (he did not want the clothes to get spoiled) Everything the guys did showed they cared. They guys worked all day with a short break. No dragging the move out to increase the bill. Honest from the moment they walked into the door with their rates and honest with the final bill. I've used Movers Long Beach for two moves and both were excellent. I used them most recently to do a move of an upstairs 2bd apartment to an upstairs 2 bed apartment. It was all stairs, some tight corners and a lot of stuff. I felt like a disorganized mess when they got there cause I despise moving and I'm never ready on time. Marlon was my lead mover and was an absolute joy and pleasure to work with. His customer service is at a 10 out of 10. He had me completely at ease, kept me up to date every step of the way and was incredibly efficient. He had two assistant movers James and Brandon who were fantastic. Incredibly efficient and polite and helpful. Together the three of them made me very happy I had gone for movers. It's expensive but it's 1000% worth it to be able to leave the move in the hands of professionals. I will use movers long beach for any move I do and will always ask for Marlon to be my lead. He killed it. Only reason I took away a star was because of the driving charge. My move was literally a 5 minute drive on streets and I was charged about 50 bucks for that drive. I am sooo satisified with the service I received from Tony and crew during my move. Although it was chaotic, they were very helpful and understanding regardless of my anxiety being at its peak and were very assisting during the whole process. First and foremost, they were punctual which gets them MAJOR brownie points from me (shows their professionalism) because I've had horrid past experiences with others and punctuality (Never again!). Second point I must make is their diligence. They quickly did what they were hired to do and only took one break. I repeat, ONE. The third thing that had me ecstatic is also how helpful they were and respectful of my belongings as well. They were careful with everything and even reassembled my bed after taking it apart to move. All my stuff was intact, in the condition they were in prior: no damages or dings. Exactly. How. They. Great experience with this company! Seriously, I appreciate the job that was done by Dmitriy and his crew. The deal was to grab everything from my storage unit and deliver to my new place. As everything was already wrapped and packed by previous moving company I didn't expect something really exciting from this move, but I was wrong. Guys were really careful with all my stuff as much as it could be. Looks like they were moving their own belongings. They were asking me where to put this and that and always stay on touch with me. They even asked me to unpack my two TVs to be sure that those were not damaged during the previous move. It was a kind of discovery for me, cause I never even thought about it. And after this move both TVs were in perfect condition. At all it was a pleasure to have a deal with really professional and easy going guys. Thank you Dmitriy, Beka and Constantine. Moved many times before. Not my first rodeo. I know what I need from my movers. Move heavy items, handles with care, timely cost effective manner, wrap and protect items, disassemble beds, tables, fridge, sofa and reassemble. These guys exceeded my expectations. They moved everything fluidly and flawlessly. Also, excellent communication at their office as well. Spoke with Max on the phone answered all my questions also got to speak with a very helpful lady on the phone the day of the move to let me know the guys are on the way. Tony, Alex and Arman did great! Communication was there. What I loved the most was the packaging and the handle with care they had with my furniture and its surroundings (walls, doors, light fixtures). I can say more great things about this company. I don't really make reviews on here unless I feel like the company has done a great job providing the services they do. If your planning a move give them a call or request a quote online. After 17 years at the same rental I was told my rental was no longer available . The stress of moving 17 years worth things and 2 elderly cats had me in a panic and tears. I called Movers Long Beach a day before my moving date and after emailing a picture of my piano and the stairs of my new home I promptly received an email with an estimate. The day of the move the movers arrived on time after calling me 30 minutes before arriving to let me know they were on their way. The guys that moved my things were kind and had a great attitude. They worked so hard and delivered all my belongings without any damages. They put my beds together in the correct rooms and took such care in moving my piano . Tony and crew are awesome. We moved a couple of miles down the road, so the guys didnt get much of a break between loading and unloading but never slowed down. They took extreme care with the items that were obviously important to us (artwork and baby furniture), wrapping everything up with a great deal of attention paid to the more fragile items. Our new house was in the midst of a remodel so we wound up having to stack and store a lot of our stuff in the garage and a few other rooms. Again, Tony and the team were extremely careful with and mindful of our possessions. Rather than simply piling them up, they made sure that the fragile items were protected and somehow managed to leave us a few key points of access to specific boxes. Communication from Alex and the rest of the team leading up to move day was excellent and Tony called the day of our move when he was about 30 minutes away to give us a heads up. Using Movers Long Beach was such a great decision, this company is FANTASTIC. First of all, they came by my apartment and packed up everything for me. I just got a new job and I've been so busy that I couldn't find the time to pack.. plus my husband is a serious collector of old school toys and collectibles.. they packed all of that neatly. Plus my entire kitchen was carefully wrapped and organized in boxes. Everything was labeled to help unpack later. The next day, a team of four guys packed us up. They were kind, explained everything they did, incredibly organized.. if it wasn't for us living on the 6th floor and having to share an elevator with other guests, they would have had us packed up insanely fast. They took apart our furniture for us and put it back together in the new house. Everything was wrapped and safely taken from the old home to the new. I am very satisfied with this moving company. I called on a Monday letting the company know I needed to be moved on Friday. I was lucky they had an opening and they went over the details. Cost, hours, and what all is included in the cost. I was pleased with all the information and decided to go ahead and book the time slot. The day of the move Felix gave me a call ahead of time and gave me the time he would be at my place. Felix and Bob were the guys who moved me out of one apartment into another one. They were very professional and worked well together to get me moved into my new place. They had an issues arise with my couch because my new place had a low entrance and together worked it out and got my couch in my new place with no damage. I was a little worried they were not going to be able to get my couch in my apartment but they did it :). All my stuff was moved in timely with no damage. Movers Long Beach was professional from start to finish, and I highly recommend them. Making the reservation was simple: one email followed by one phone call. Done! I received a confirmation email immediately, followed by a second a few days before the move. On the morning of my move, the driver (Stas) called me 15 minutes earlier than my appointment to tell me he and his crew (Max and Shah) had arrived and were ready to begin. The three were not only punctual, but polite and professional as well. The quickly wrapped my furniture in blankets and plastic and loaded everything onto the truck. Load out took about an hour. A short drive later, the load in began. The guys were very careful and put everything exactly where I asked them to. They cleaned up, had me inspect their truck, and were on their way. We used Movers Long Beach to move out of Long Beach to another city. We moved from an upstairs apartment, to a 2 story townhouse, on a Saturday. The booking process was very easy, and I appreciated receiving the confirming email and follow up phone call. The movers, Sherzod and AJ arrived on time, and worked very quickly to pack and load. It was impressive considering the move required going up and down a flight of stairs. The unloading also required them to walk up and down several flights of stairs. When unloading to our new home, the couch did not fit into the door way, and the movers hoisted the couch up to a balcony. The movers were very professional, and the best we have ever used. The move did take a while, because the office recommended that we use 2 movers. I had a very good experience with this company. The two movers, dmitriy and beka were very efficient yet careful. Since i moved into an older building , there is no elevator so they battled constantly with those stairs. . . and the door frames were smaller. This meant that the dining table and fridge needed a little extra care getting inside. They made it happen. Both of them were really careful with all my stuff especially my sacred bicycles and guitars. These two guys saved me a great deal of labor and time. These guys are very professional. I had what I thought was an easy job, 2 bedroom condo so really only 3 rooms, however I soon realized it was quite a bit of more than I expected. However the move only took 3 hours. I had 3 movers, they wrapped everything. Nothing was damaged and they had a great attitude especially since it was on a Friday afternoon. The couches were very heavy, the reason I hired a mover to begin with. They disassembled them and reassembled them like it was nothing. I am very happy with the experience and I would highly recommend. Thy are professional, good attitude, legit (legally a professional moving company not just some guys with a truck and quick. Just had them move my 1 bedroom apartment. These guys were great from the beginning. Even before the move day, they were extremely attentive to any needs I had. The building I was moving out of required a certificate of liability which named the building as an additional insured. They had their insurance provide it within two days. As far as the move goes, Alex and Bob were true professionals. They moved everything out in about 2 hours, and another 2 hours to unload it. They placed the furniture where I wanted it. (As opposed to just leaving it randomly placed) Took great care not to damage anything. I have a very large sofa which was an issue in my new place, and Alex and Bob were able to do their magic and make it work without having to take anything apart. Cannot possibly say enough good things about Tony & crew! They arrived right on time, were incredibly speedy, thorough and professional, and got everything done in far less time than I had expected. My husband was asleep on the couch in the living room at the new place, and they were so quiet he slept through the whole thing. But they went totally above-and-beyond when the refrigerator arrived. The delivery people thought it was too big to fit into the kitchen so they just left it in the dining room and departed. Tony took a few extra minutes to pop the doors off and put it on a dolly so it j-u-s-t barely fit into the kitchen. Mike and his colleague were incredibly fast and efficient from start to finish which immediately put us at ease. They wrapped all of our larger items quickly and thoroughly, handled everything with great care, and kept things moving without wasting time. Once we got to the new place, they completely set up the couch exactly how we wanted it, which was a huge help after a long day. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and very impressive to watch. Would absolutely book with them again for any future moves!
