My HOA is very particular on the insurance rider being provided in advance to the move. When booking they obliged and provided it within the hour. My moving day was the hottest of the year! Amazing service from the office team to the movers that moved every box and piece of furniture with a can do attitude. I called Movers Long Beach and spoke to Ashley who was very informative and helpful. I was set to move on Saturday but come to find out Saturday was expensive so I was moving on Sunday. I spoke to Ashley at length about the situation which was complicated. Ashley was of great help and awesome customer service. I booked them for Sunday and asked her to speak to her manager about something and she was supposed to call me back on Friday. I did not hear from her so I call her and Jackob said that was on the other line and if he could help me. He pulled up my account and asked if I wanted to pay for it then and I told him well yes and no I was waiting to hear back from Ashley. I didn't hear back from her and after several mis-communications the day before the move I was informed that they were not able to do the job. This placed me in a very bad position and the company called me and after hearing what had happened we came to an agreement and I do have to say that Kim handled it with the upmost professional was very helpful and I was very impressed with the companies response to what had happened and what their solution was in going forward in the future. It showed me that they are taking responsibility not only for their employees but also for their potential customers. If not for the bad experience I had with the other employee I would consider hiring them just on their professionalism on how they handled the issue that had occured. I called this moving service company Wednesday afternoon and they sent employees Johnny and Jas the very next day by noon who are two very respectful, kind, excellent customer service, fast paced employees. The employees worked diligently as they wrapped all necessary items and smoothly transported my belongings to the correct location with no troubles. There are a few problems that I have with this service. First, this phone number goes to a call center that services several moving companies. Whichever number you dial, they will indicate the company that you called. However, it is the same call center. When I called from one of their other service companies (Long Beach Movers), I was greeted with the same exact opening statement. When I indicated that I called earlier under another company, they said that they were not the same company, but I think that I was speaking to the same person that answered on my first call. [Note: this same call center runs L.A. Movers, Movers L.A. and any other iteration of a city and movers in the name. Be warned!!!] Second, they give you what sounds like a great price on moving. They'll tell you that it's 3 guys and a truck for $100+ per hour with a 3 hour minimum. Sure, that sounds reasonable. I've moved several times, and I've always been able to finish the move within 3-4 hours. I have everything boxed up and only really need help with large items. That brings us to the third issue. Third, the group of guys that show up are expecting to work the entire day. Based on the other reviews, this appears to be a company run be eastern Europeans. Three guys showed up for my move, but only 2 of them were working. The third guy, was too busy checking his phone to really have been working (Ivan I think his name was). After all was said, they billed me for 7 hours (oh did I mention that I was only moving a 2 bedroom spot 7 blocks). I personally moved half of the boxes, and they spent all of their time wrapping furniture. Sure, I appreciate the fact that they did not want to damage anything, but at least 2 of those hours involved wrapping and unwrapping furniture. Once we got to the destination, I told them to just unload the truck and my friends and I did all of the tedious work that they wanted to do. Of all of the moving companies with whom I've worked, I will not work with this company again. They will move your stuff, but you should expect a 7 or more hour workday no matter how small your moving project is. This is a bit of a bait and switch, so be very careful. I should have gone with Starving Students. I was penny wise and pound foolish. Don't suffer my same fate. Go somewhere else. read more

This company is a joke. Showed up for a two bedroom 1000sq ft apt in a 10ft truck with guys smoking cigarettes. I had payed hoa fees to block elevator from 12-4 . When I called the company 3 times no one could get the manager in the phone (convenient) Still unresolved. I now lose the 150 I payed and have to pay again and reschedule another day. If I could give no stars I would. When I initially called I was told the movers would assist with anything as far as packing, disassembling/reassembling furniture, dismounting and wrapping my tv....whatever I needed they would be able to do. I told them exactly what I was going to need and they said it was all noted on my account. Because of the yelp reviews I felt safe that I was making a good choice. The movers that showed up were clueless as to what needed to be done, rude, and just inept in general. They were unaware of disassembling the beds and looks confused when I asked about taking the tv off the wall and were asking me how to do it. The whole reason I got movers was to not have to figure out such things. They ended up leaving and now the company won't answer my calls. I just want my deposit back. read more

The movers did a great job moving my things. They arrived within the arrival window, they were polite, meticulous with my things, and they were very transparent with their moving plans. A piece to my TV stand got lost during the move and although it wasn't a big deal to me, they went out of their way to find the missing piece at Home Depot and came back to fix the problem. We took a chance on these guys after finding them on Yelp and they didnt disappoint. Moved a 2-story, 3-bedroom home with 100 boxes, with 4 guys (at $125/hr cash), and it took nearly 10 hours to move 8 miles away into a single-story home. We just had too much stuff, but all of them were professional, courteous and worked fast. We originally thought we could do it with 3 guys in 6 hours, but the receptionist kindly explained that getting it done faster with 4 would save us money - which definitely helped us. We didn't know about the double-trip, where if they make a 2nd round-trip, the hourly charge is doubled for the driving time, so might want to be aware of that. Other than that, no other issues and would definitely use them for our next move. read more

I called at the last minute for a small-ish move after a competitor moving company cancelled the same day. We needed some large medical equipment moved from one clinic to another less than 2 miles away and needed it done today! The office people I spoke with were incredibly accommodating and booked us for same day moving at a very fair price. They gave me a 3-hour window but didn't need to as Tony and Alex were right on time at the beginning of the window (we weren't even fully ready...we thought we would have more time while waiting!). Tony and Alex were amazing! Patient with us (we're crazy with the move right now), very strong (I mean, this equipment is HEAVY and bulky, and they maneuvered it through some pretty tight hallways without damaging it or the walls), and very concerned that everything was just how we wanted it. I needed help moving and I looked up movers in the long Beach area. These guys came up as number 1 and for good reason. I set an appointment and they told me the movers would arrive around 9 to 10. They arrived at 925 so they were on time. I was greeted by Erkin and he was very friendly. Right from the get go, they went straight to business. Signed a few documents and they worked swiftly and efficiently. I was on the second floor and my old apartment complex was a maze but they were able to navigate just fine. I had more items than I thought but they were able to load everything quickly and yet not damage anything. Also they were even quick unloading as well. These guys Rock! They moved the impossible fridge! The ginormous beast of a fridge made it out the door and down the stairs without damage. They showed genuine care for our belongings and us as well, they were very friendly and joked around with us and we're more than happy to help reassemble some of our furniture at our new home. I've been moving around the California many times, but I've never seen movers like them and it was fantastic. They were very respectful, friendly, responsible.
