This got to be one of the worst experiences of conversation I've ever had with no professionalism whatsoever. I knew something was wrong when I found out this company and movers best are the same company in the Yelp conversation, 77 movers asked me to provide my own insurance for my very special expensive items, they offer only 60 cents per pound for damaged items. When I wanted to talk with the main office I was informed that customers are never allowed enter the office or did they give me an address. In my conversation with Dispatch I found out they are the same company with the same scam type language and I don't think it's fair for them to have multiple Yelp accounts for any consumer. Last I don't like to be referred a link to YouTube about how great and honest there company's are,I do not recommend you waste the time with these dishonest people. read more

Hit or miss. I am giving this place a generous 3-stars because they financially remedied a scam situation I experienced with their movers. 3 of their contracted movers showed up to our house and started to pack up our stuff. They moved extremely slow and did not wrap our items nicely but spoke very politely while continuing to nickel and dime us for items clearly stated in the contract as "included in the price". At the end, the price was 3 times what we expected and they automatically included a 30% tip for EACH person. When I asked for an itemized invoice the foreman wrote "unexpected long walk to front door" as one of the reasons for the increased price, and extra cost for items clearly stated in the contract as included. Luckily, the corporate office contacted me to reimburse half the cost. (In reality they should have reimbursed more but at least they contacted me.) I'm not sure if I'll ever use them again but I give the company kudos for trying to remedy the situation first. For those boys, I hope karma bites them in the behind. read more

It did take a full 8 hours to complete but that was really due to how much stuff we needed to move, and not the fault of the movers. No scratches or marks. Just used 77 Movers for the second time, and once again they got the job done quickly and professionally. K and Alex B were our guys this time. They provided furniture pads and wardrobe boxes and wrapped everything up to protect it from damage. K wrapped each piece of furniture and artwork in plastic and blankets, then tape, so they were totally protected. He helped disassemble pieces that needed it and offered to help remove our TV mount. He had a bag of tools and was totally prepared for all the unforeseen things that come up when cleaning out a home. Nothing was overlooked, he even asked us if we wanted him to wrap up things that clearly weren't valuable, like our set of plastic chairs. I felt like he really valued and took care of our belongings. At our new place they moved everything to where we wanted it, making sure we wouldn't have to move any furniture up or down the stairs after they left. They were so patient and friendly, when we realized we had an extra dresser upstairs they carried it back out to the garage, despite being almost done. They made notes about exact times of stop and start and everything, not starting the clock until they were in our house and had gone over everything with us. For a 2 bedroom/ 2 bath apartment the total moving time was 6.5 hours. Seems like maybe we could have hired a third man to cut down on time, but we had a TON of stuff and these guys rocked it. This move was a rude awakening. We hired this company with 2 guys and it was a horrible experience. My wife actually moved more items than the 2 guys did. One of the guys was "hurt" so he barely moved anything which left the other guy trying to do the whole move by himself. My wife ended up having to help which is ridiculous in it self. It was a one car garage, all items were already wrapped in blankets and taped and at MOST it should have been a 3 hour move as the drop off was less than 3 miles. This was insane as they too over 5 hours, took a 35 minute break which they left on the bill!!! DO NOT be fooled by the $89 an hour as we had 3 movers move the items from our home and they got it done for $110 an hour and they completed the job in 3.25 hours as they busted their hump to try in fit in the minimum. Please do not use this company as you will get a slow worker, hours incorrect and longer hours. I should have taken the day off work and managed these guys or let them go when they said "my partner is a little hurt" who goes to a moving job hurt???? Beware! read more
