Gustavo's team (4 guys) were awesome this last week in helping my family move. They were kind, diligent, and efficient throughout the whole process. Before beginning, they estimated that we would need two trips and that was accurate. The move was over 8 hours, which started from morning and ended in the evening. The items that were moved included furniture to heavy boxes. They helped wrap and protect all the furniture. During the process, the movers were careful and even moved items in certain angles and directions to avoid damaging the old and new house. Prior to them, we had packed, unpacked, and moved a great deal of boxes on our own. But this was very tiring and time consuming. I decided to make the move from Brea to Long Beach this month and being in that stage of life where I am far too old to bribe my friends with pizza and beer to help me move, decided to hire movers. I heard of Mover's best through one of those websites where you put in your info and moving inventory and it sends your info to a bunch of moving companies who then call you. Most of the messages were harsh in tone, but Sarah contacted through text and email, which was much easier to deal with than chatting on the phone during my workday. I was able to get a quote within an hour for three movers and a truck. Their quote was comparable to others and I appreciated Sarah's attention to detail and patience, so I went with Movers Best. As the day approached, I confirmed with MB that I was still down to move. Day of Frank and his crewmates, Anton and Nik, arrived promptly and made fast work of my apartment, confirming multiple times what went and what stayed. They navigated the complicated entrance to my new place and unloaded carefully but efficiently. None of my furniture was damaged, including multiple lamps. Frank was friendly and communicative, which I appreciated greatly considering moving is stressful AF! Pricing was reasonable. They weren't the cheapest option, nor the most expensive. I had a great experience with Movers Best who helped me move from San Diego to Dana Point. I had a last minute schedule change and Movers Best accommodated that by rescheduling my move a week earlier. The morning of the move - not only did they arrive a little early, but also, they were fast and efficient. I had a two man crew, both were hard workers and had great attitudes. They show up with all necessary supplies including protective wrapping, wardrobe boxes, and tools to assemble/disassemble furniture. I also noticed that they made sure that everything loaded in the truck was secure before going to the next location. Lastly, they made the process super smooth for my dog to move with me at the same time, which is a huge bonus! This was my first time hiring movers and to say I am grateful is an understatement. This review is purely for the sales team. We did not end up hiring Movers Best, so I can't speak to the actual movers or the day of experience. However, thought it was worth flagging that the reason we didn't go with Movers Best is that working with their sales team was not a great experience, so some others have mentioned. Now, granted, I was reaching out via email, so its possible the experience would be entirely different over the phone. However, I was juggling quotes from 5 different companies, so having emails to reference made it a bit easier. In trying to nail down specifics for our move quote, the sales team I spoke with was very abrupt and short with me, basically making it seem like I was inconveniencing them with my business and wasting their time. I did have a few questions as I wanted to make sure I understood the quote, but it took several back and forth emails to get basic details from them and when they did provide the information, it was in a condescending "why dont you know this" sort of way. Moving is stressful, and dealing with people who seem annoyed to be talking to you doesn't make it any better. In total, the customer service of the sales department was really frustrating and is ultimately why we chose another company because we couldn't trust the information we were getting. read more

Hello, movers best sent me a team of 3 gentleman. They worked efficiently and hard. I have never hired movers before but this move included relocating to an apartment on the third floor. They navigated the twists and turns that the stairs offered up in abundance and my furntiture made it without a scratch. I was further behind than I had planned on packing when they showed up, they generously offered up some boxes and helped me get things easier for moving. They put my furniture where I asked, and they put all boxes where I asked. I have no doubt that if I had requested it they'd have even had helped me unpack! They were just so incredibly helpful and making sure to communicate with me so that I would have a great experience. Not once did they look at my heaping quantity of boxes with dismay. These movers were excellent. Etan and Meyer (apologies if misspelling) were professional, careful, fast, and efficient. I leave a 5-star review for them and their hard work - they were excellent movers and I would never want anyone to misconstrue how good they are at their jobs. They're people you can rely on. I originally left a 3 star review because this sales team has a disconnect, though. I was told 3 movers at a rate of $150 an hour, but got two at the quoted price of $110 an hour. I also found that, despite mentioning it 3 times when I communicated with the sales team, no one updated the app the movers use with our second stop. When paying, it seemed quite difficult to get back to the quoted price with a sales rep over the phone. To be very clear: all of this frustration has to do with the sales team. I don't think I would use this business again solely because the sales team made promises they clearly were unable to follow up on, and I think I paid more for it.
