My friend and I came in to share dinner after our ski day and the food was fast, hot, yummy, and waitress was kind and attentive. They had live music on Jan 2nd, I thought there would be singing but it was just the music which was nice to have on in the background. We shared an appetizer of mac and cheese and a flatbread and it was the perfect amount of food to fill us up. We really liked the mac and cheese but the flatbread was nothing impressive, pretty flavorless. We also each had a hot chocolate which is exactly what I was craving all during our cold ski day.

Not a problem because it was warm on the patio and we still had a great view of the mountain and sunset. I had the cocktail special of the day, a rum and pineapple and orange combo that made me recall being on a cruise. Wife had the melon and prosciutto salad which was presented beautifully and she liked it. I went for the special of the night, a grilled chicken sandwich with Mexican street corn on it with a side of fries. Super tender chicken and great flavor. Fries were nicely crispy and seasoned. All for less than $50. Will be back again for sure.

This was our first time to The Nest. We were interested in checking out their outdoor concert…read morearea. We arrived just as a local band was getting ready for a three hour set (4-7pm) on a Sunday afternoon. Cover charge was $5.00 each. There were quite a few people there, but there was still room to sit in the spacious outdoor deck/stage area. There's also an outside bar area to grab a drink, instead of having to run inside to the regular bar. Food was available, but we did not try anything. The indoor vathrooms were pretty small, but served the purpose. The music was very good, the sound was loud enough, without blaring out of the speakers. There's a roof over the outside deck, but it's in different sections, so the sun does shine though in areas, making it a little hot when it's hitting you. Our only complaint would be the amount of people that were smoking. There is no way to get away from the cigarette smoke wafting in your face. Other than that, it seems like a great venue to enjoy some live music, a drink and a bite to eat. We definitely plan on going back.

We were so impressed! It's very clean for a bar and the outside is beautifully finished. We had a blue moon and a burger-- it was one of the best burgers i've ever had from a restaurant. The bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming. Nice vibes all around from this little hole in the wall spot... can't wait to return on a date night :)

I was very disappointed with my meal at The View today. I ordered the open-faced steak sandwich…read moremedium-rare, but the steak came out well-done, tough, chewy, and lacking flavor. The mushrooms were barely cooked, and the sandwich was dry. I even requested au jus in an attempt to salvage it, but unfortunately that didn't help. To make matters worse, my side salad was initially forgotten. To the server's credit, she removed the sandwich from my bill and offered to bring me something else. However, by that point I had lost confidence in the meal and declined. I ultimately ended up eating only the side salad. While the service recovery was appreciated, the food itself was a major disappointment. In the end, the only thing I ate was the side salad, which cost $8 on its own. While I appreciate the server's efforts to make things right, the food quality and execution were far below expectations. I left hungry, disappointed, and unlikely to return.

The inside is very nice and big, we took sat at the bar because we were just having a drink and appetizer. They didn't have a drink menu, which I thought was odd. However, the bartender made us a delicious drink she said her version of Bay Breeze was a Sunset Pines, and we got two for $15. They were amazing!! We just went with the mozzarella sticks for $9 for our munchie and they were good.
