They also opened up two doorways between our living room and dining room which gave a much more open floorplan vibe to the house, and allowed us to take better advantage of our great views. They updated a window in our primary bedroom and put a half lite door in a guest bedroom -- both of which let in much more light and access to the views. Dan is savvy about building and trustworthy. Junior and Tony do solid work, they're personable and respectful. Overall we're very pleased with the results and the cost was reasonable. I interviewed half a dozen contractors and they were either not qualified enough for the job, or were not interested because they felt that the project is too challenging, or were too expensive. Gregory was the guy that checked all the boxes. His rates were reasonable, he was definitely qualified, and was not scared to take on a tough job. Needless to say, he did an outstanding job and was on time. Greg is also very easy to work with and communicates well throughout the project. Communication was extremely important because this was my first construction project at this scale, and Greg explained very well the technical parts and worked closely with me and the engineer.
