Supercoffee has been in the Mt. Dennis community for now 12 years. I had just never been there…read morebefore but one Saturday I was making extra deliveries during the Christmas rush and needed a coffee. This place was my saviour. It wasn't until a few later until June 2025 I would join The Mt. Dennis 5K Fun Run Club that is on every Saturday. Every 5K Run starts and finishes at The Supercoffee. After the run each participant is awarded a Free small drink of their choice. After a few weeks I really started to notice how busy this little coffee place is and I guess that's one of the reasons this shop has now been here for 12 years. It's been here for 12 years because the coffee is amazing. It's just not the coffee but there's nice things to eat with your coffee. There's muffins, cookies, danishes, nut bars (energy bars - no sugar added) There's bananas and empanadas too. Some of the items are made at the Supercoffee, but the other items are prepared by local bakeries. All the staff that work here are very nice and friendly too. This place is a nice gem for this community, and has a nice atmosphere soft lighting, soft music playing. There are a few big tables inside as well with 5 small tables. You can work here on your laptop however there's restrictions on the weekends as space is needed so it's not allowed. You would be better to use the library across the street. In the summer months there's a nice patio in the back as well with music playing there too. If you live in or live close by to the York, South Weston area and specifically Mt. Dennis you should stop by and get yourself a coffee at this most amazing establishment.

Stopped here for an afternoon coffee and snack on our way back to the city; somewhat unlikely place…read more- but with the recently opened Mount Dennis station nearby - it does feel like it could get a lot busier! The ambience is interesting - partly like an old school diner, and partly like a hipster space. The coffee was great - definitely worth the stop. The Cheese, Pesto and Tomato panini was just fine - nothing to talk about. The price was great - so overall, good value for money.

I tend to visit Second Cup when there is a promotion going on. Sadly, Second Cup stores are neither…read moreclose to where I work, nor live these days. On Mondays, till December 9, 2019, if you buy any hot chocolate, you can get get another one for free. I have a weakness for hot chocolate. I used to go through canisters of hot chocolate mix as if I expected an apocalypse to occur. I stopped going through them so quickly after I looked at how much sugar I was consuming. Instead, I treat myself to a hot chocolate here and there. I did a search and found this Second Cup that is close to the hotel where I am staying. Yay! The cafe is in a small plaza. I actually entered where cars should exit. You can't see the arrow at all on the pavement. I noticed it when I left. Oops! Parking is limited. There were two spots that were opposite each other. I pulled into one and backed into the other. I then walked into the cafe. It's cozy. I can see folks sitting here for hours, chatting with a friend, or working quietly on a laptop and occasionally sipping a beverage. I knew that it felt right the moment I walked in. I headed to the counter. I had a patient person help me with my order. I wanted two hot chocolates. I am not a Second Cup regular. I pulled out my phone and rattled off the two flavours that I wanted: candy cane and cinnamon roll. I asked for no whipped cream. Done! I paid using my debit card. I did the tap thing and I was good. There is a small table where you pick up your mobile order. I waited by the regular drink counter. It didn't take long for my drinks to be ready. I sprinkled cinnamon on my cinnamon roll hot chocolate. I topped my candy cane hot chocolate with crushed candy cane. Yep, that's how I roll! I thanked the man who helped with my order. He smiled and wished me a good evening. Here's the fun part. I managed to get both drink into my car with my usual iced black tea from Starbucks already there. Trying to carry three beverages without a tray can be done. I had an insulated bag in my car trunk that fits all three beverages in a row. I put them all in, carried them up to my hotel room, and nothing spilled out. My hot drinks were still hot. Yay! The candy cane hot chocolate was okay. It was heavy on the candy canes that I could barely taste the hot chocolate. I need to hold back on the crushed candy canes! I loved the cinnamon roll hot chocolate a lot more. Extra cinnamon on top of a cinnamon-flavoured hot chocolate is the best. I have found my drink of choice at Second Cup. It wasn't terribly sweet. It was perfect. The baked goods looked yummy. I had already eaten dinner and didn't feel like dessert, so I passed. This cafe also has Pinkberry frozen yogurt. I'll need to try them next time. If you live in this neighbourhood, I am envious of you. Walking over here for a drink after dinner or whenever seems wonderful to this suburban. (446)

It's located in a small plaza and not too hard to find. I always get their matcha drink with soy milk and it's so good. They also have chess nights on Fridays which is fun :)

I'm honestly shocked I've never been to SanRemo before! There are so many things I already want to…read morego back and try--from the desserts, donuts, bakery items, and hot food to the drinks and, of course, the gelato. On this visit, I had the steak sandwich, mortadella sandwich, cold brew, and Nutella latte, and everything was delicious. The vanilla cupcake was especially good--super moist and not overly sweet. Parking is pretty limited, but if you arrive early enough, you can usually find street parking in the surrounding neighbourhood. Despite how busy it was, the service was incredibly quick. There seemed to be plenty of staff working together to keep orders moving efficiently. One bonus that I absolutely loved is that they carry Nutella and Orzo imported from Italy. It's nice knowing I don't have to fly to Italy every time I want to pick some up! Can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu.

This was my first time trying San Remo Bakery, and I went with the prosciutto sandwich on focaccia…read moreand a small coffee crema. The prosciutto sandwich was okay, but unfortunately, it was really salty. I'm not sure if it was the particular cut of meat, but I've made prosciutto sandwiches at home that weren't nearly as salty. It was also missing a sauce or at least some cheese to cut the saltiness of it. Was very plain and just had meat and arugula. Overall, there wasn't anything particularly astounding about the sandwich for me. The coffee crema, on the other hand, was delicious! My only issue was the price. The small was a very tiny portion, comparable in size to a small iced coffee from Tim Hortons, and between the sandwich and coffee, I paid around $20. For what I got, I personally didn't feel it was worth the price. That being said, the desserts and pastries all looked really good, so I would go back to try some other things. Based on this first visit, though, I wouldn't say I'd go out of my way to visit specifically for the sandwich or coffee. The staff was very helpful and friendly, however, so 5/5 for that. It can be a little overwhelming with all the options and we went at lunch time so it was more chaotic (to no fault of their own of course!), but staff was incredibly nice and patient with us.
