We walked in and I was immediately impressed by how vast and spotless the place was. This is one enormous place. There's a ton of seating in the main area, and if that's not enough, there's a whole other seating area around the corner. Everything looked really tasty but we decided to try a couple of savory pastries, both of which were delicious and fresh. For my drink, I went with the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew ("Cold brew coffee with vanilla and topped with sweet cream"), which certainly quenched my thirst and need for a pick-me-up. I want to single out the staff, too. Everybody was super friendly and helpful, and the manager even stopped by our table and offered our daughter a complimentary bear-shaped madeleine. Paris Baguette is a very welcome addition to the neighborhood. We'll definitely be returning.

nice open friendly.space with a large self service area that has savoury and sweet options…read more Options reminded me of traditional Chinese bakery buns honestly. They have deli sandwiches in their fridge and the Harvest Chicken sandwich was delicious. The Mochi donuts are a good atyempt and mimicing their asian counterparts but was way too greasy. The traditional sugared twist was better. They also have full barista services and lots of seating. Great place to pick up something for a dinner party as they have lovely boxes and present well. Staff was very friendly. Prices are steeper than other local bakeries so keep this in mind.

I was in the area for a Yelp Elite Experience and decided to check out other local food places, since I rarely drive out to Mississauga. When I found Fruitilicious Cakes on the map, I knew I definitely needed to check this place out. Walking into the store, I was immediately captured by the dreamy cake atmosphere. Tiers of cakes were on display, little macaron decors, and a super cute place to lounge, it felt like a delightful place to meet with friends over a cup of tea and a dessert. Fruitilicious Cakes specializes in making custom cakes and wedding cakes, and I could tell from the details of the cakes on display that their cakes are a definite showstopper. While I didn't have an occasion to buy a whole cake, I was told to have to try the peach earl grey tea cupcake. With one bite, I was absolutely blown away. I haven't experienced many cupcakes that do a good job at capturing the earl grey tea flavour, but somehow, Fruitilicious Cakes, managed to land that earl grey tea favour just right and the fragrant of the cupcake continued to linger in my mouth even an hour after devouring it. I was surprised to find that the cupcake had a sweet peach filling, as most cupcake places sell just the cake with a heaping scoop of icing. I love the amount of effort and care that Fruitilicious Cakes had behind the simple cupcake, which truly lives up to their slogan: Made with Passion. And here's the best part, the cupcake is only $3--what a steal! After discovering this hidden gem, I can't wait to come back and order my anniversary cake with them in the future! =) YUUUM!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish…read more I ordered a custom cake for my bridal shower using a design directly from this vendor's own website and clearly communicated both the design details and flavors in writing. What I received looked nothing like what was agreed upon. The color palette was completely off (including dark purple tones instead of the requested light pink), key design elements like gold detailing were missing, and the cake was made in only one flavor despite explicitly requesting two separate tiers with different flavors. Communication on the day of the event was nonexistent, and when I raised concerns, I was interrupted repeatedly and treated dismissively. I had to ask multiple times just to finish speaking. I was told the cake could be "fixed," but at no point was I informed that this would come with an additional charge. The so-called "fix" resulted in little to no actual improvement to the cake itself. Despite this, I was later sent an invoice and, more concerningly, a message threatening legal action if I did not pay. Let that sink in: I was asked to pay extra money to correct a mistake made by the vendor - and was threatened with legal action when I questioned it. I ultimately paid the fee to avoid the hassle of dealing with baseless legal threats, not because the charge was justified. Between the failure to deliver the agreed-upon product, poor communication, lack of professionalism, and the use of intimidation tactics, this was one of the most disappointing vendor experiences I've had - especially for an important event like a bridal shower. I strongly recommend working with a different vendor who values accountability, transparency, and basic professionalism.

Very solid 4* rating!…read more Not sure why it took me a decade to check this place out, after a recommendation from an older European lady had recommended this place to me. It's definitely a "hidden" gem, tucked around the corner from Kipling Stn, in a really industrial area. Think a bunch of auto body and other older looking, unkempt buildings with cars parked out in front. There's parking in front of the bakery café and you hafta climb up a flight of stairs to go in. Not really accessible for older or customers with disabilities. When I arrived, the chairs were already on top of the tables. And after checking the hours of operation, they're only opened 'til 5pm, including Saturdays. They sell whole and cakes, pastries, but the slice/piece. Prices aren't posted, but it was just under $10 for 2 pieces that I got. When I arrived, near closing, they had B1G1 free on their tiramisu, so I saw that as a sign. They were delicious and still tasted free, not too sweet! (I took a pic of their price list and it seems very reasonable!) Judging on what they offer and what I've read, they have Austrian/German roots. Lady who helped me could've been friendlier/enthusiastic, but again, it was the end of the day. So I'm not going to hold that against her. I'd definitely check it out again...but it would hafta be during the day/Saturday!

This dessert restaurant is no joke, their menu is so massive it feels like it could rival the Cheesecake Factory's (no exaggeration). While most of it is dedicated to desserts, they do offer food options too, but let's be honest... you come here for the sugar rush. We tried a slice of their Red Velvet Cheesecake, and it was rich, smooth, and everything you want in a dessert. We also ordered a loaded waffle topped with brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, and whipped cream, basically a dessert lover's dream on a plate. Both desserts were fantastic and definitely lived up to the hype. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even with such a huge menu, they made great recommendations. If you're looking for a fun spot to satisfy your cravings, The D Spot delivers.

I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected to, simply because I'm not big on sweets. The cake is light and spongey and absorbs the leche/milk very nicely, and makes the entire cake very moist. Vastly different in texture to other cakes that rely more on cream and icing to balance the sponge cake. I found this cake lighter and a really unique flavour/texture. It's sweet with flavour that has depth (not just by using more sugar/syrup) and the hints of milk, strawberries, cream, etc all mesh really well. Glad to have stumbled across a new fave and I'll definitely be back to try the rest of their offerings.
