Great beverages and yummy snack. Friendly staff. Clean business. I'm not a coffee drinker but everyone I've brought loves the coffee. I pick up one for my hairdresser Denise next door and the know what she likes!

This is such a cute little spot. Literally saw it walking by on the Danforth and I'm so glad I decided to hop in because what I got I enjoyed and the lady behind the counter was friendly. I added a spoon of brown sugar to my single latte and it was great. I also like the fact that they have real spoons so there's no disposable waste in that area. What I also enjoyed was the little diagram on the menu that gives you an overview of the main differences between different types of coffee. I love supporting my local businesses so I'd be back! TIP - cash only but there's a TD two doors down.

Sometimes I go to coffee shop just to chill and enjoy a cup of coffee... Broadview Espresso will be perfect as you won't see an ocean of laptop or people stays here for hours just watching youtube. Nice, quiet and cozy... Love the west facing windows on a late sunny afternoon.... Americano ($2.50) has this nutty taste and great aroma... Now I am all caffeinated and ready for my spin class!!

We ordered 2 Cafe Latte and it was delicious. I usually go to Starbucks which is great. This is a place I would strongly recommend. I also asked the server to do a Latte Art. It was beautiful. The taste is perfect . It's not too dark or too light . When your tongue touches and it's very smooth. If you like coffee, check it out.

The best Mocha I've ever had in Toronto so far. I will recommend this cafe to every coffee-lover friends. It is located on Broadview Ave., a couple of blocks north of Broadview Station, close to Greektown. If weather permitted, sitting outside the cafe is a great option to hang out. Normally I will buy a bag of the espresso bean home. It is good that I can enjoy a nice Americano at home=) PS: Cash Only.

Came here on a weekday around noon. Pros: - Old school hipster ambiance - Staff were polite and professional - Indoor / Outdoor seating is nice Cons: - No WiFi - Pricey for what you get

For months there was neighborhood speculation about what the former porn shop on the corner was going to transform itself into. The paper covered windows added to the excitement as people peered into get a closer look at what was the newest addition to the neighborhood. The owner did not disappoint, as a coffee shop is a welcome addition to Broadview. The little shop that could has slowly made it's mark on a neighborhood that has been in search of a good cup of coffee for sometime. The owner, a former waiter at Canoe has perfected the art of making the perfect cup of coffee. His skill with foam has resulted in a bustling shop with a true neighborhood feel. The little shop has been busy since day one serving up coffee in conversation. The owner has made the decision not to have wifi in an effort to protect the space for just that, coffee and conversation. I highly recommend this place as a meeting place or first date, although get there early to get one of the few tables available.

Another plus for me is the seating area they have outside, Muskoka chairs where you could spend hours watching the world go by.

While the tasting bar is lacking the delicious treats found at Te Aro and other cafés where Pilot coffee is brewed, the service and experience at the tasting bar more than makes up for it. Due to the odd hours of operation (8:30-3:00 M-F) it may be impossible for the Monday to Friday, 9-5 crowd to ever visit the tasting bar (unless you go on your day off). Located in a nondescript alleyway in fledgling Leslieville, visiting the tasting bar can make you feel like you're part of an exclusive group who are "in the know". The tasting bar serves a variety of espresso based drinks (latte, flat white, cappuccino, mocha etc), brewed coffee (drip, chemex, pour over etc), nitro cold brew, coffee samplers, and some non-coffee drinks if you choose to bring a non-coffee drinker (do those people even exist???). I've tried the nitro cold brew (awesome, creamy, smooth), latte (strong), and cappuccino (awesome). Prices are comparable to other cafés in the city. Barista gives you the opportunity to choose from a small variety of espresso beans from which your drink will be made from. While you can have your drink to go, the real experience lies in sitting at the tasting bar, sipping on your drink while talking with the friendly and knowledgable baristas.

We tried the egg & cream cheese and the ham & Swiss, and wow... insanely buttery, perfectly flaky on the outside, and soft on the inside. This was definitely due to everything being made fresh in-house. When we ordered, we caught a glimpse of trays of butter-loaded croissants at the back, ready to go into the oven. My partner straight up said it was the best croissant she's ever had--so that says a lot. Drinks held up too. The strawberry latte was super refreshing, with a tangy syrup that paired really nicely with the espresso. My dirty chai was solid, though I was a bit bummed they didn't have stovetop chai--it just hits different. I liked how they host local artists' works & shows too. It's a very intimate & community driven cafe.

My favourites are the ham and cheese croissant and "eggy boy" (round croissant with egg, goat cheese and pepper). There is wifi and they have newspapers, so it's the kind of place to relax and stay a while. In the summer, there are a few patio tables. Year round there is an outdoor seating area (benches) which is perfect for bringing your dog (they also have nice dog treats!!). I have been many times and recognize the regulars there -- neighbourhood folks, people with their kids and dogs, and on weekend mornings, the cyclists. It's a real local gem!
