This place has been on the corner of Alamo and Peabody for quite a while now. Its been years. But my family never chooses to come here. This weekend we finally decided to check it out and order a sampling of food. We tried a Cheese with Pineapple, Pikes, and BBQ at the Ranch Pizzas. Also the Sticky Kogi Boneless Wings, Garlic Not Knots, Garlic Sticks with Cheese, and the Mini Churrs. So a variety of stuff. It was pretty expensive for what it was. Nothing stood out for me and some stuff I would never order again. I really didnt like the Boneless Wings or the BBQ at the Ranch Pizza. Everything else was just meh. The flavors were just not to my liking. Sorry but I dont think Im ever going to get food from here again. read more

Don't waste your time or money at this place. I ordered a supreme pizza and it had a strange taste. After taking a few bites I put it in the fridge. I was on holiday break when I had a craving for some pizza. For some reason Mountain Mike's popped in my head. I haven't had Mountain Mikes in many many years. I ordered a medium Everest pizza which is their classic combo. It arrived via Door Dash nice and hot. Pizza was decent but not as good as I remember from the last time I had it. I was craving a salad and was too lazy to make one myself, so I decided to go to Mountain Mikes on Alamo here in Vacaville to grab a salad from the salad bar to make and bring home. Going into this location, it was very clean and organized inside. I believe it was the owner who rung me up, he was really kind. I told him I wish they had black olives at the salad bar, and he quickly responded by going to the kitchen and grabbing me some. Dined here tonight with my family. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza light cheese. The pizza was way overcooked. The pepperoni toppings were burnt. Also ordered to have the salad buffet. The garbanzo beans were warm and tasted spoiled. The place was too hot to be inside. Ceiling fans were on but the whole place was not pleasant to eat in being the hot condition inside. It was cooled outside. We wanted to let the 2 ladies know in the back about our food but they seemed to not want to be bothered. No one was at the register. The young gentleman who took our quick order was their delivery driver. Our second trip to the Mountain Mike's on Alamo in Vacaville and it's already become our go-to! The man who took our order was friendly and fun, efficient and professional. We had a good experience before the pizza even arrived, and when it did, after a very short wait, it did not disappoint! Expectations were exceeded and hopes were met! We will continue to enjoy the service and food at THIS store. There are other Mountain Mike's in other towns we do not recommend, so we're very happy we decided to give the store on Alamo a try. I do like the digital queue screen in front of the registers which displays orders that are in progress as well as when you've checked in. While waiting for the order to be prepared, someone called out from the kitchen area and let me know that the fiery lime flavor that I ordered was not available and they asked me to pick a different flavor to substitute it with. This was somewhat annoying because I specifically decided to order wings here to try this flavor rather than another wing restaurant that I was closer to when I placed this online order. It took nearly 30 minutes to have this order ready from the time I placed it online to when it was handed to me. Just something to be aware of that the online quote is off and you should add additional buffer time to your order. So if you're in a rush, don't count on this time being accurate. The wings themselves were good, but not as good as other Wingstop locations I visited, and the fries were still underdone, even though I asked them to be well done when I ordered them online by checking the "well done" box. Wingstop, as a franchise is still among the top "to go" wing spots that I like to order from, but this particular franchised location is a letdown.
