There was no empty spots so every bite was packed with flavor. Pesto Pasta Pastatwist had nice depth of flavor. The saice made its way to the insides of the pasta. Each bite was consistent. The pizza dough needed salt and more time on the oven as it was a little underbaked. Veggies felt fresh, but in general, it felt bland and doughy. Service was slow. We were the only ones there. Our order was placed at 7:07 and we received it at 7:37. There were no knives available on the self serve counter. In general, this is the second time we visit after trying them like a year ago on their Fairfield location. Both experiences had the same impact of lacking flavor. The pizza was a little undercooked, but other than that I was happy with it and had planned to come back again. That's when the cockroach started running towards us. I'm extremely afraid of roaches. I was kneeling on my seat yelling to my boyfriend to get boxes so we could get out of there. After rushing out of the restaurant I realized I didn't think I could eat this food after having seen the roach crawling from the kitchen towards the dining area. My boyfriend went back and he was going to ask for at least a partial refund since I wasn't going to be able to eat and I hadn't even finished a whole piece of pizza. That's when the people at the establishment said they were not going to give us any money back. They said the cockroach hadn't been on the food just inside the building. I've eaten at Vacaville restaurants for over 20 years. I have never been in any fast food place or restaurant that I saw a cockroach running in before tonight. Excellent pizza, friendly staff, clean restroom, speedy service with a smile (Twist ) I needed to use a restroom and noticed that they're open sign was lit. So I decided to check out their Pizza and at the same time use the restroom. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It came out of the oven piping hot and so delicious! The manager was super friendly and his helper was very kind. The pizza has good flavor. They don't cheapen the pepperoni because the pizza I ordered had plenty of pepperoni and onions. For those who want a clean restroom experience, this is the pizza restaurant for you! I was kind of ready to walk out and get on yelp to find somewhere else but my husband bless his heart has much more patience than I do when it comes to poor customer service. We ended up with 2 pizzas, 4 canned sodas and 2 overpriced awfully poured beers. Grand total of $90.00 I was shocked -- but my husband had high hopes. As we waited for our food, multiple customers came in waited for someone to greet them just as we had done before they lost their patience and walked out. Not to mention while we were waiting, woman walks in clearly wearing pajama bottoms and slippers, I thought she was a Door Dasher or something and I was very surprised when she walked behind the counter, this woman delivers pizza y'all. The space was small. Kind of a weird setup if you ask me. For the restaurant being empty there were many tables with crumbs and leftovers on them leaving me to have to clear off and wipe down a table for our party to sit down at. I ordered 4 pizzas for the first time from this company for family and friends. I was told the delivery time would be a little over an hour. About an hour and 45 mins later we have a car drive up to our gate. I run out to greet them and they turn around and drive off. I called the location and was given the number to the driver. I called a few times but the phone went directly to VM. I waited another 15-20 mins and called the location to request a refund. I was told it would take 15-20 days to get a refund and I said that's fine. I was told they tried calling back and a person kept telling them they had the wrong number. I asked to repeat it to me and they had the correct one. It's a cell phone in my pocket so nobody else answered my phone. 15 mins later they called back and said the owner refused to refund my money because the delivery went out even know they didn't deliver it. The absolute worst customer service and I didn't even get to try the pizza. I will make sure to tell as many people as I can to stay away from this place. I would have given zero stars if that was an option. read more
