Twistys Favorite Pizzatwist was a solid choice. The menu said it was the best seller and it exceeded expectations. The pizza was packed with the ingredients. There was no empty spots so every bite was packed with flavor. Pesto Pasta Pastatwist had nice depth of flavor. The saice made its way to the insides of the pasta. Each bite was consistent. The garlic parmesan wings were very saucy with a touch of heat. My stomach was very happy with all three choices. Ambiance is made for takeout. Service was solid. Ordered from the too good to go app! The pizza came out promptly and was delicious. We spoke with the owner for a bit and she had us try a new prototype dish which was incredible! This is actually a door dash review but I had to call the restaurant and the woman was very passive and not helpful. I placed an order for two pizzas and two pastas. Sadly, only one pasta order was received. The door dash driver said he delivered what he picked up and asked me to call the restaurant. So I called the restaurant and reached the manager. Somehow, she knew I was the door dash order and immediately said she has a video and she knows the order was complete. I asked her how that helps me and she said I have to file a complaint because she knows this driver from before. When I asked if she had filed a complaint, she said she did but no action was taken. Something is fishy here and also for the price of these pizzas and pastas they are simply not worth it. read more

For an Indian style we expected more stronger flavors. It does not feel like homemade sauces, but this is a franchise, so its expected that all comes in a can ready made. The pizza dough needed salt and more time on the oven as it was a little underbaked. Veggies felt fresh, but in general, it felt bland and doughy. Service was slow. We were the only ones there. Our order was placed at 7:07 and we received it at 7:37. There were no knives available on the self serve counter. In general, this is the second time we visit after trying them like a year ago on their Fairfield location. Both experiences had the same impact of lacking flavor. So, another visit is not in our plans. We know we ate something. But tasted like nothing. :( read more

I really wanted to like this place. I was so excited to find another vegan option in Vacaville. They only had Diet Coke or Sprite as their drink options so I was a little disappointed in that. It seems like they're mostly a takeout type of place even though they're set up to dine inside, they're not putting much attention to that. It was a little pricey at $60 for two pizzas, cheesy bread, and sodas. It's vegan food and they always charge more for vegan food so I'm used to that . The food came out and it seemed good. The pizza was a little undercooked, but other than that I was happy with it and had planned to come back again. That's when the cockroach started running towards us. I'm extremely afraid of roaches. I was kneeling on my seat yelling to my boyfriend to get boxes so we could get out of there. After rushing out of the restaurant I realized I didn't think I could eat this food after having seen the roach crawling from the kitchen towards the dining area. My boyfriend went back and he was going to ask for at least a partial refund since I wasn't going to be able to eat and I hadn't even finished a whole piece of pizza. That's when the people at the establishment said they were not going to give us any money back. They said the cockroach hadn't been on the food just inside the building. I've eaten at Vacaville restaurants for over 20 years. I have never been in any fast food place or restaurant that I saw a cockroach running in before tonight. The food was good but I would not trust the safety of it. Also poor customer service to not be understanding that seeing a cockroach while eating can affect a customer. read more

Excellent pizza, friendly staff, clean restroom, speedy service with a smile (Twist ) I needed to use a restroom and noticed that they're open sign was lit. So I decided to check out their Pizza and at the same time use the restroom. I ordered a pepperoni pizza. It came out of the oven piping hot and so delicious! The manager was super friendly and his helper was very kind. The pizza has good flavor. They don't cheapen the pepperoni because the pizza I ordered had plenty of pepperoni and onions. For those who want a clean restroom experience, this is the pizza restaurant for you! I will bring my friends here in the future and I highly recommend this pizza establishment if you are hungry or need to use a clean restroom in a hurry. We stopped here on the way home from a day at six flags with 4 kids and 2 adults. We had heard many good things about this place -- upon walking in lady behind the counter did not greet us, just kinda stared and waited for us to have questions. First question was how do we decipher this menu? They had steps listed and ingredients listed for options as well as sizes but no prices? She wasn't very helpful kinda shouted some prices per size and seemed almost annoyed or afraid to speak and answer the questions we had. I was kind of ready to walk out and get on yelp to find somewhere else but my husband bless his heart has much more patience than I do when it comes to poor customer service. We ended up with 2 pizzas, 4 canned sodas and 2 overpriced awfully poured beers. Grand total of $90.00 I was shocked -- but my husband had high hopes. As we waited for our food, multiple customers came in waited for someone to greet them just as we had done before they lost their patience and walked out. Not to mention while we were waiting, woman walks in clearly wearing pajama bottoms and slippers, I thought she was a Door Dasher or something and I was very surprised when she walked behind the counter, this woman delivers pizza y'all. The space was small. Kind of a weird setup if you ask me. For the restaurant being empty there were many tables with crumbs and leftovers on them leaving me to have to clear off and wipe down a table for our party to sit down at. The pizza was good but not great although pizza with Indian flavors was new to me and I liked that. The business was oddly quiet even with the tv on and the strange thing was it totally lacked any pizza/food smell. They only had a very small selection of canned sodas - Coke, diet and Sprite. No waters or teas or lemonade as far as we could tell. It was kind of hard to read the electronic menu on the wall and with all the choices we wished they had a paper menu we could have sat down with for a few minutes rather than feeling rushed.
