I had stopped in here a couple of years ago, but didn't try the lunch buffet then. This pizza place is located on the south side of town. I've become a fan of Mountain Mike's pizza since trying the lunch buffet at other locations while I'm working out of town. I go in and just pay the cashier and get a plate. The salad bar looks very nice, but I'm here for pizza. Several pizzas are out on the hot serving area. I got some of the combo and some others I couldn't exactly tell what they were, but they looked good. I liked that the crust was nice and crispy, no droopy crust here! I notice they don't skimp on the cheese either or other toppings. The pepperonis they use here are very tasty and do curl up on the edges. The price is good for an all you can eat option for lunch. I could see some big burly construction worker guys coming in here to fill up before heading back to work. Now I have a good pizza buffet in town here! read more

Having frequented Mt Mikes many times since moving to Red Bluff two years ago. Unfortunately we were extremely disappointed yesterday by the very poor quality of our pizza. Our large Mt McKinley looked and tasted more likeDeath Valley. It was obvious the pizza was poorly made with skimpy ingredients with hardly any meat and that it had sat in the warmer for some time. We certainly did not delay our pickup so can't help but wonder if we weren't served a pizza that had been made far prior to our order?? My dear frnds ordered pizza bread sticks and soda.it was 45 min delivery.no problem .food was ok.the problem came with delivery guy/owner.he forgot her Pepsi. She called to let them know so he could just turn around before he got to far.he called once he was back to pizza place saying he'd credit her on her next order.si no drink with pizza (ordered pizza family deal) comes with soda!!! So this is mainly a wing review. My son eats wings all the time, and we're always trying to find the best local place that doesn't just cover them in sauce, but where the wings actually just taste good even without sauce. There's only one place in Tehama County to Butte County we have found and that's weirdly our tiny independent market in Los molinos. Though they are Tyson brand, the marinade they use is so delicious and taste like absolutely no other Wing we've had even from wing places like Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop. All they do is make plain wings and cover them in sauce and there's nothing special about them at all. Unfortunately, our little market in town is out and it's literally the only meal my son eats for lunch every single day of the week, so we've had to resort to overpaying for wings that are infinitely tinier wings at places like Mountain Mike's. First time we ever got wings from them and it will be the last. The wings are literally smaller, about 50 to 60% smaller, than an average newborn baby chick! They look like they are doll sized wings for props to put your Barbie doll in her dollhouse like she's having chicken wings as a meal. They are so insanely small we actually started laughing when I opened the box today. And the price is astronomical! In my town, we get about 24 wings for maybe 17 or $18, and mind you, this is for an independent Market having to pay exponentially more for anything they sell, where is Mountain Mike's is a huge chain and has mass purchasing option because of their brand, and three wings are large enough to make one meal for my son with a small slice of sourdough on the side. These Barbie sized wings at Mountain mike's, it would take between 8:00 to 10:00 to make up the same size amount of meat on the wings from our little market in town, and the wings themselves taste like nothing. Without the sauce they would be inedible. There's virtually no meat, just 99.9% bone and they charged over 20 freaking dollars for basically 12 bones. I'm laughing, but I'm also livid because it's such a rip-off. This county is literally overwhelmed with the population of chickens, literally roaming the streets, yet they can't manage to get chickens with chicken wings that are adequate to Sauce and the cell? I don't understand. Never ever again will we go back there for wings. Their pizzas average. I don't love round table, but Round Table is better. Mountain Mike's is the bland version of pizza but otherwise their Pizza tastes exactly like round table and again, more expensive. They seem to want to price everything as if they are a real sit-down restaurant and not a fast food place. They are clearly confused as to what they are. read more

We have been getting takeout from mountain mikes taking advantage of their wonderful 49% offer on a large pizza when the Niners win. They have been consistently great pizzas with the exception of our combination pizza we had today. The toppings and sauce were their usual quality but the crust was over baked and actually burnt in place. Nothing worse than a charcoal pizza. We will continue to order from them and hope this review helps to improve their quality. read more

The crust is always burnt. The toppings are not consistent with there being clumps of toppings in places. It's obvious which toppings are less expensive as there always is an abundance of those. The salad had very little lettuce at the bottom of the bowl. It was the white part of iceberg lettuce, and the toppings were not prepared for a salad, more like an appetizer tray. Ate at Mountain Mikes Red Bluff today, had the lunch buffet. The flavors of the pizzas were great. Under new ownership and you can tell with the difference in quality. Many pizzas kept coming out, great variety. The pepperoni was some of the best I had in awhile. Usually go for the multi topping pizza, but kept going back for pepperoni. The new owner said they are going to start the buffet 7 days a week. Only 17.19 for al the pizza salad and beverages you can consume. read more

I will absolutely NEVER give my money to this business again. I placed a $50 order at 7:45pm tonight. I wait and wait and wait. I don't want to be a bother since it is a Friday night, but it's getting close to 9:30, and it still hasn't shown. So I try to call. Realize my phone is having issues, restart it, and suddenly get a flood of text messages. The delivery driver has texted me sometime between 9:10, the last time I know my phone was receiving texts, and 9:29, when I received the flood of texts. This text says "Hi I have your pizza trying to get better directions". What?! A delivery driver without GPS that doesn't know their way around the town they're delivering in. I immediately respond. No reply. I call the restaurant. They won't answer. They couldn't find my job so they just decided I'M NOT BRINGING THEM THEIR $50 ORDER??? WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS DOES THAT? I'm a level of livid that I haven't been in awhile. You're a restaurant that still has open orders and you won't answer the phone. You have a delivery driver that doesn't know their way around and apparently doesn't know how to use GPS and also won't answer their phone or reply to a text. Stopped by here for lunch. It was super busy, but the girls at the counter quickly took our order. The beer selection on tap was next level, 8 on tap, i tried the Hazy & 530. The beer was super cold and the mug was chilled. We ordered a cheese for the kids and a chicken on white sauce for us. I will be coming here again, especially since they will be playing the football games on Sundays. read more

I went to Mountain Mikes's this past Sunday evening. After being reassured by the cashier that the salad bar would be restocked soon, I ordered 2 individual salads with a large pizza to go. After about 20 minutes, and the salad bar NOT being restocked, I flagged down an employee and asked if the salad bar was going to be restocked. She replied, "Not by me. I'm off in a few minutes and out of here!" I waited about another 20 minutes, flagged down another employee and asked the same question. Her reply was "Nope. I'm too busy." Once my pizza was ready, I walked up to the counter and let the cashier know I also ordered 2 individual salads to go. She went into the back. Another employee (from the back) charged up on me and yelled "What's your problem!!". Even though her behavior was outrageously disrespectful, I told her that either the salad bar needs to get restocked right now or my 2 salads get refunded. Another employee walked up to me and said, we'll only bring out what you want on your salad. So I said "Okay, I'd like egg." She replied, "No, you can't have egg". I asked "Why?" She said "Because our egg slicer isn't working". I told her that I would take an whole egg. At this point several employees had come up to me and ALL of them had a completely empty look on their face as if this solution never even occurred to them. After being treated with extreme disrespect and harassed as if I somehow had been in the wrong, I finally was able to get 2 salads. I have never before experienced a group of employees who complain as much as these, especially to customers, and behave as if they resent working at Mountain Mike's. We tried out the new Mountain Mike's, in Red Bluff, for the first time. We moved here from Chico, last year, and were so excited to see Mountain Mike's was opening a location here. The prices were higher but they had a great coupon, and the quality of the ingredients is worth the extra price. I didn't realize the wings came naked but they were crunchy and delicious. I wish I could order 10 and not just in increments of 6. We added jalapeños and bacon to the cheesy bread, delicious. The Everest pizza is the perfect classic pizza. Made an online order at 2:08. Was told by the system it would be ready in 20 min. I showed up at 2:50. I could clearly see it was busy in the back and they looked short handed. The man took my money and didn't really give me info on my order, so I stepped aside to wait. 23 min later he asked what name I was waiting on.... He went to the locker where pizzas were and grabbed my 2 pizzas out. THEY HAD BEEN IN THERE THE WHOLE 23 min I stood there waiting!
