Not happy! A few customers complaining Low staff. I only saw 3 people working on a busy Sunday, I ordered at 2:39 2 personal pizzas amd 2 salads. There was no lettuce at the sald bar. The customer before me let them know so I didn't ask for it but then I did ask for it later after 10 minutes and still no lettuce and then the lady reminded her again after 30 minutes and. emlpyee in back makimg the pizzas said oh I'm sorry we're really busy right now I'm back up a lot of orders and it takes time to prep lettuce, so it took 30 mins to finally get lettuce and then when I went up to make a salad they were out of a lot of items. Sigh... It took 1hr to get our pizza and forgot to mention there no sitting areas for 2 there was over 5 tables dirty with plates and cups. I took the time to clean off the all the tables. I got back into Red Bluff kinda late, like after 9pm and I wanted some dinner and there's not a lot of choices open in this town at that hour. Yeah, there's Denny's, but then it's Denny's! My usual pizza place, Luigi's Pizza & Pasta closes at 9pm, but located further back in in the shopping center that has the Food Maxx is a Round Table and they're still open. Pizza it is. Not too crowded after 9pm and I placed an order for a Hawaiian pizza. I just felt like one this time. Usually I get a combo like the King Arthur. The pizza was ready in not too much time. I got it to go and zoomed home so it wouldn't cool off and get soggy in the box. Pizza was good and hit the spot and I had leftovers for the morning! C'mon people. You have to be embarrassed of a place that's so poorly run. We arrived at 5:30 pm this evening to a restaurant that had only 2 clean tables. We left with our to go order at 7:00 pm and not a single table was cleaned in an hour and a half. We watched at least 20 people leave because the line to the register was so long. Pizzas were not being made with any sense of hurry. I can understand if a restaurant is short staffed, but there were 5 people, standing around in the kitchen while people were not served. Whenever we go here , it reminds us of a prison work release program experiment that failed. They have like one mystery person in the back that nobody ever sees making the food and then the one person in the front has to do everything and it's like literally they have no other employees. First of all, let me say, I absolutely love Round Table Pizza! It is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, the Round Table at the Red Bluff location is so poorly run that we, as a family, rarely risk ordering from here anymore. For the last several years we have tried, off and on, to give them a chance, thinking that maybe our previous experiences have been an exception, not the rule. When we order for delivery we are usually told approximately an hour wait. Kind of long but hey, like I said, I love Round Table! However, not one time has it ever been less than an hour and a half, once it was over two hours and it showed up cold. Pretty sure they just left it in the car for a while. When we have ordered in the restaurant or for pick up, same long wait. Once I arrived for a pick up order after 45 minutes and they had not even entered the order yet. Today is definitely the last straw. It is Father's Day and my wife and daughter decided to let me take a chance, knowing full well what we were getting ourselves into, we decided to order pizza for delivery. I am writing this at the near two hour mark, after a phone call to the restaurant, and am still waiting on the order. I am hoping it eventually shows up but fully expecting that, when/if it does, it will need to be reheated. I will still be happy to enjoy Round Table Pizza. We've been coming here off and on for the past 10 years. The food has always been good, but the service has had it's highs and lows. We enjoy cooking at home, but when we do go out, we love to support places that provide an amazing experience. Our past couple of trips have been stellar thanks to this fantastic guy named Darin. He's incredibly personable and professional, and does his absolute best to make every guest's experience a great one. He's got incredible attention to detail, and takes the time to get to know his guests and remember them the next time they visit. Instead of treating guests as transactions, he treats them as family. Round table has been my go to for YEARS. I have lived in Red Bluff for three years and about 50% of those pizzas I have ordered were messed up in some way. I understand that there is a supply chain issue, an employee issue etc. but yesterday after giving it another chance I went to go pick up my pizza, which I had paid a little extra for to add some things that I really like (bacon, artichokes), and I received a pepperoni pizza because they did not even check the box. Yes, I should've checked as well, and in the future I will, but I was in a hurry because when they say it's going be ready is not the time that it's actually ready, you have to pad that by about 20 minutes. So between getting what I ordered and trying to determine how far ahead I need to get it ordered to have it be the time I want, it's not worth it. I really enjoy pizza from Round Table. I just feel like it is too pricy, and I would come here more frequently if it was a little cheaper. Some of my favorites are: Maui Zaui The Pineapple Balsamic one Gourmet veggie The new remodel they did here in Red Bluff is pretty awesome. It now has a full bar. The salad bar is really great too. let's talk about your delivery times. No matter when I call it's always 1.5 to 2 hrs and I cancel before I even order due to these ridiculous wait times! Hire more drivers if you are so impacted with deliveries. There is no other pizza place in town with such wait times. We called AGAIN at 918pm to cancel our order so we could leave the house bc our stomachs were eating our insides. The first guy who answered gave us complete attitude for their mistake. I called in a pick up order for 2 pizzas today. Was told 25-30mins. Pizza was ready when I arrived. It was busy but the staff was very nice and the place was clean. I waited a couple minutes in line while others were ordering and the guy taking orders acknowledge the line, thanked us for coming in and he would be with us soon. (Not his fault the couple couldn't decide what they wanted) I'm visiting family from Washington and every time I come to visit I always stop to get pizza here. When I walked in, I was happily greeted by the bartender and Jason. I instantly loved the atmosphere. The team was friendly, all seemed to be working together well, and happy to be there. Overall GREAT service. Definitely leaves a good lasting impression! My call in order was just about ready when I got there. The only downside was having the wait for my wings to be done, but I understand places get busy so not a huge deal. Second week in row going to a Round Table to eat, drink, and watch football. This time at the Red Bluff location after last week's disaster at the Anderson location. Complete opposite experience this time. What a difference 20 miles makes. It's unfortunate because the Anderson layout is better. But most importantly the Red Bluff crew, led my manager Jason P., was pleasant, intelligent, and service oriented. Good was good, beer selection was good and Jason was outstanding. I placed my order and was advised it would be ready in 20 min. I arrived at the restaurant in about 25 min and was told my order would be ready in 20 mins.
