I stopped by Mountain Mike's Pizza. To save money I sometimes take advantage of the "Too Good To Go" app and purchased one of their "Surprise bags," which are offered by businesses to avoid food waste and give you an opportunity to try a new place. Mountain Mike's is a family-style chain known for its crispy, curly pepperoni, 20-inch Mountain-sized pizzas, and dough rolled fresh daily. They specialize in pizza, garlic-brushed cheese sticks, and salad bars in a family-friendly atmosphere. When I went to pick up my surprise bag, I've got to say I was a little disappointed. The 10-inch pizza box had a couple of slices and some breadsticks, which would have been okay if it had been edible. It must have spent the day under the heating lamp because it was rock hard and beyond rehydration. I didn't eat it, but the pizza appeared to be good at one time. It had a lot of toppings, but the crust was too hard--what a shame. I have done a lot of pizza reviews, and Mountain Mike's is probably good for families as long as the pizza is fresh from the oven.

While visiting my friend in Arizona, we decided to stop by Mountain Mike's Pizza--and let me tell you, that pizza was absolutely delicious! And that's coming from someone who considers herself a true pizza connoisseur. I ordered a small pizza, and it was the perfect size with enough for leftovers. The sauce had amazing flavor, the cheese tasted fresh, and the crust was just right--crispy on the outside and soft inside. Every bite was on point! It was so good that as soon as I got home, I googled it and found out there's a Mountain Mike's not too far from me in Rancho Cucamonga. Safe to say I'll be visiting them very soon! Highly recommend if you love great pizza done right.

Cozy restaurant with to go and sit down area. Bar inside. We had pineapple jalapeño pepperoni and meat pizzas. We enjoyed them immensely. Don't mind the mess in the box just go eat some!!! All 3 flavors were on point crust was not too thin nor too thick. Friendly staff!

I was in the area and stopped by here for an early dinner. I was the only person in the location and the pizza I ordered was very good. There was nothing over the top or special but, overall a good meal.

I haven't ate at a mountain mikes pizza in a long time and was finally in the area close by one so decided to head in and try it again. I ended up ordering the unlimited salad bar and a large pepperoni pizza. The salad bar was good and had plenty of options and would definite get it again. Now as for the pizza we all really enjoyed it the flavor and pepperoni was great , Pizza was cooked perfectly. It wasn't too busy inside and everything was clean. They have a big bar area with a lot of tvs and a couple of video games , will definitely stop by again if in the area.

I thought the pepperoni pizza was too dry for my taste. Red sauce like no existence and the pepperoni was crunchy dried out. Hot wings no spice to them, they were mild in flavor. Not worth the price I paid.

Supreme

First time visiting a Mountain Mike's, Great pizza, I got a supreme and wow the topping were piled high! The staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Delicious. The gluten free was sooo good. We had a selection of different pizza. Barbque. Meat. Cheese. All were really good. The stuff tasted so fresh.

Ordered the cinnamon dessert pizza not sure what we got.

Overall ok pizza. If you are getting takeout, check your order before you leave. We ordered the cinnamon dessert pizza and got a cinnamon cheesy bread instead. Zesty aloha pizza (they forgot some of the toppings) was alright. The boneless wings were not great. Customer service was great, as we called and they refunded us for the dessert pizza.

My first time very visiting a Mountain Mike's location. I didn't even know it was a chain at first because I hadn't really heard of it before! Came here after some fun at the park with my husband and son. Service was great! It was clean and not too busy! Love that they have a couple games too! We went simple and got garlic cheese sticks and a cheese pizza. It was more than enough food for sure! I also got marinara and ranch on the side. The marinara was kinda gross, like a paste and not sauce. The ranch was fine! The pizza gave off 90's pizza party vibes which was nostalgic but not like the best. It was a tiny bit too saucy and doughy. But it was not bad at all. The garlic sticks were ok as well, could've been a bit more garlicky and it felt like maybe it had been sitting out just for a little bit. But again, food was not bad at all, overall I'd give this place a 3.5! Probably wouldn't come back but glad we tried!

This place is under new ownership and is awesome Amazing pizza, fantastic customer service!! We had so much fun here!

Ask the Community - Mountain Mike's Pizza

Why have they not yet changed out the 40+ bright white/daylight/hospital/cold led light bulbs hanging from the ceiling? It's so uninviting!

Thank you for sharing with us, Cris. We are checking in with our local team.

Will You please make vegan cheese an option in the future?

Hey Jay, thank you for the suggestion.

When do they open? I went there last night about 7 and they were closed. I'm unable to find a phone number for them too.

They will be opening on Monday. January 10.

Have you ever stalked a food truck like it was your ex on Instagram, hoping and praying they would…read morefinally settle down and open a permanent location? And then imagine finding out that said location is INSIDE an incredible brewery. Baby... when I tell you I almost ascended. Hello? Excuse me? Did the pizza and beer gods personally hear my dramatic little prayers? Did they not only bless us with this heavenly combo, but ALSO decide to rotate different pizza specials every single week just to keep me emotionally unstable? Because THEY. DID. I genuinely cannot stop talking about this place. At this point my friends are one more pizza rant away from blocking my number, but I refuse to apologize. Every single time I go, I convince myself this is my favorite pizza... and then next week they drop another masterpiece and suddenly I'm questioning everything I thought I knew about myself. What makes this place so ridiculously good is that they are fearless. They're out here using sauces as bases that other pizza places would clutch their pearls over. Ingredients that sound chaotic on paper somehow turn into the most beautiful, life-altering bite you've ever had. It's giving culinary drag performance. Bold. Unexpected. A little dramatic. Perfect execution. And the brewery vibe? Elite. The energy is fun, relaxed, a little loud in the best way, and honestly the perfect setting to destroy an entire pizza while pretending you'll "just have one slice." Lies. All lies. The beer pairings somehow make every flavor pop even more, which feels scientifically unfair. Also can we normalize restaurants understanding that pizza should be FUN? Because this place gets it. They're creative without being pretentious, experimental without losing quality, and somehow every pie still feels comforting and familiar while also making you gasp like you just heard fresh gossip. At this point I don't even ask what the special is anymore. I just trust them blindly like a toxic relationship, except this one actually delivers happiness. 10/10. Life-changing. Emotionally supportive pizza.

If you're in downtown Mesa and you're looking to grab a bite to eat and maybe have a drink or two,…read moreyou should consider swinging by Goat and Ram This spot has all the small batch brewery vibes, but is also a very popular pizza parlor. Located on the main drag of downtown Mesa you can eat inside or on the patio. There aren't servers, instead, you order at the front desk. The menu has a variety of options, mostly pizza (both classics and signature pies). There is also a bar area where you can grab a pint or two of local brews The interior was electric with people enjoying pizza, locations, watching the Olympics, and just unwinding for the day. We ordered a salad and a couple of pizzas. The salad came out first, and the pizzas weren't far behind Being a self-proclaimed pizza snob, the pizza was fine. It wasn't overly flavorful, and it didn't blow me away, but it also didn't disappoint. The salad was LOADED with toppings, and I was somewhat impressed there. Unfortunately, polling the group, the beer was slightly lackluster. But again, this spot is a fun vibe and is great if you want to hang out for a bit and enjoy a brewery/pizza parlor type atmosphere Some tips: When you're done with your drinks and meal consider walking down the Main Street and stopping by one of their many bars, museums, and other eateries There isn't a lot of parking off the main drag, but we were fortunate enough to find parking on a few different occasions Cheers!

She immediately told us the kitchen would be closing in 10 minutes (we arrived at 7:19 and they close at 8), which already made the experience feel a bit rushed. We ordered a deep dish pepperoni and sausage pizza, a Caesar salad, fries, and water. The salad and fries came out quickly and were good, but we waited until 7:52 for the pizza. During that time, several staff members including what seemed to be a manager, were loudly yelling back and forth across the restaurant about staffing and schedules. With no music or TV volume, it was impossible not to hear, and it felt very unprofessional. Meanwhile, our water glasses sat empty. I had to ask three separate times for refills, and the third time I actually had to get up and find our server at the bar, where she was sitting, still discussing the schedule. When the pizza finally arrived, it was delicious. But basic things like Parmesan and pepper weren't offered. I had to flag someone down to ask. And even though we'd just received our food, the lights on the patio were turned off while we were eating, and we were brought a box very quickly, which felt like a not-so-subtle hint to leave. Overall, the food was good, but the customer service and atmosphere really took away from what should have been a nice birthday dinner for my daughter. Very disappointing experience.

The place is super cute and homey and can accommodate both big and small parties. We tried the eggplant and chicken Parmesan because it sounded interesting and unlike offerings at other Italian restaurants. It was unique and fun to try, but I don't think I would get it again. It was quite heavy on the breading and there was a generous portion of cheese and sauce. We asked if we could substitute a salad in place of the spaghetti that it came with and our server did indicate they offer garlic sautéed spinach or broccoli so we selected the broccoli. She did not inform us that it came at an extra charge, though we would have still been happy to pay it, it's just nice to be informed ahead of time of any additional cost. I definitely recommend the cannolis as the filling was thick and creamy and not overly sweet and the entire shell was dipped in chocolate!
