I hate to do NEGATIVE reviews, however, this experience was a horrible one. I ordered at 6:15pm (online) order screen says 30-45 minutes for delivery. Order arrived at 7:48pm, the pizza was cold, and hard at this point, didn't seem fresh! I considered not complaining, but after I reviewed the receipt, the order was entered more than an hour before it was delivered. So not sure if it was sitting somewhere for over 30 minutes, or simply was forgotten. I decided to call the restaurant after realizing the state in which the pizza and garlic bread were when they arrived. Had to warmed thrm up in an air frier to help it be warm. I called the restaurant told the person who ordered, she took my name and number to have her manager reach out...over 3 weeks and no call! It wouldn't have been a huge issue, except when you spend over $50 least you can expect is your order to be delivered within 30-40 minutes! I would advice going to a different Mt. mikes if possible! read more

Came here on a limb because we got a Mountain Mike's coupon for 15% off and didn't have high expectations for it because I have my favorite pizza spots, but needed to eat dinner. Decided to eat in on a Tuesday night; it was completely empty besides the 4 or 5 workers. What really surprised me about this location was that they have a few seats to the left when you walk in but as you go down a narrow hallway, you'll pass some coin game machines and further ahead are several long tables and an upstairs with plenty of seating to accommodate large parties. This place hosts a lot of local school/sport and adult team dinners and events. Seating is not an issue here - small or team size, they've got you covered. If you have small kids or enjoy claw or arcade machines, they have a variety to choose from at the back of the restaurant to play while you wait for your pizza near the salad buffet section. The pizza came out within 15-20 minutes. Each slice had a good topping proportion and tasted pretty yummy! I'm not usually a big crust person; however, the crust on this pizza had the right amount of softness and firmness and it wasn't too thick which was perfect for me. I ended up eating every bite and made sure no crust was left behind :). If you're in the area or are needing a spot to host a team event, consider checking out Mountain Mike's pizza in CV! read more

I've yet to have a bad experience from the C.V. Mountain Mike's. The food is always fresh and yummy, the order is always correct, and the customer service has always been pleasant. Tonight's meal was the absolute best! When the order was delivered I didn't realize right away that they had forgot to deliver our soda. So when I called, I just asked if they could refund the account. The lady on the phone was apologetic and said yes. About 10 minutes later we get a knock on the door and it was a delivery driver coming back with our soda! .... That was super cool! They didn't need to drive all the way back to our home just to deliver the soda, but they did! I haven't had such great customer service in years, especially these days. I love this Mountain Mike's!! (Thank you to all the workers and drivers that work at this location, you are appreciated ) read more

It's been a long time since I last ordered from here, so I decided to give them another chance. I ordered two pizzas for takeout. Both not met my expectations and the meat was way too salty and the crust was very dry. read more

I actually went for the Garlic Knots. I love them. They're always hot and have a wonderful taste to them. You get a reasonable portion for the amount. They're a must try. read more

Would never go to this place again had a simple request for a pizza order about to buy a mountain size and dropped 60 or 70 bucks and had a simple request leaves cheese off 1/3 of it and the worthless manager told the cashier we can't do that and then argued with me that he couldn't do it I told him they'd done it many times in the past he said well we're not doing it anymore rude as hell I wouldn't give that place a dime not to mention the last time we were there the pizza was crap anyways we were just going to give him one more shot oh update we decided to just go to the San Lorenzo mountain Mike's that we'd always dealt with and of course they were perfect and handled it with no problem said they could do it and took care of it read more

The manager that was on duty was an a-hole and didn't give me my village discount since I worked at the village, he said that they didn't do that there, when all of the other times i've been to the location the other manager gave me my discount , he also yanked the receipt out of my hand, the manager that was on duty was a white guy maybe foreign, however I will not be eating there anymore since what happened, just poor customer service , letting emotions get to them is not professional!! read more

Mountain Mike's is one of our new favorite spots! Not only is the pizza always fresh, hot, and delicious, but the whole place is super kid-friendly. My kids absolutely LOVE the little $1-25¢ toy machines -- it keeps them entertained while we wait for our food and gives them something fun to look forward to every time we visit. The staff is always welcoming, the dining area is clean, and the atmosphere feels relaxed and family-oriented. It's the perfect place to grab a meal with kids without any stress. If you're looking for good pizza and a place where your little ones can have a great time, Mountain Mike's is definitely worth it! read more

Occasionally their pie dough are under cooked. I request extra time, or well done crust.

I have been using Mountain Mike's in Castro Valley for party orders for years. This time I used them for a 5th grade luncheon. I ordered 16 mountain sized pizzas to be delivered at 11:30. I didn't know if that would be possible with them opening at 11 but they made it happen! The pizzas were hot and delicious. The children loved it! I could not be happier. I made my order online the day before to make sure that they knew they were walking into a large order right at opening so I hope that helped. Delivery guy was very sweet and offered help. I am so grateful for this location and the staff running it!!!!!! read more

Picked up pizza here and for some reason the code didn't work. Naya was able to improvise and take care of my order. We need more people like her who gives great customer service. She went above and beyond and for that i am thankful. Definitely will be coming back and recommending this location to friends and family. Keep up the great work! read more

I Placed the order online, and after 2 hours the order didn't receive. Called the store and the person is rude and not even apologizing, he suggested to call the store instead of ordering online and he hung up the phone. Never order in this place ever again. read more

A Pizza Party Legend in Our House! Mountain Mike's is basically part of our family at this point--right up there with Grandma's potato salad and our dog who steals crusts off plates. Whether we're dining in, ordering delivery, or hosting a last-minute bowling party next door (because, yes, that's a thing), Mountain Mike's *always* delivers. Literally and figuratively. Our go-to lineup: wings that slap, cheesy bread that disappears before it hits the table, and pizza so good we've had actual debates over who gets the last slice of combo. Even the salad is fresh and crisp-- not the sad, wilted afterthought you get at some places. The staff? Angels in pizza aprons. Super friendly, fast service, and once, when we got regular soda instead of diet, they offered to come back with the right one like we were royalty. Who does that anymore?! Mike's crew, that's who. They're pros at managing big orders and keeping the chaos of kids' birthdays and playdates running smoothly--even helping the little ones with the games (which, let's be real, is basically a public service). Only "meh" moment? The bathroom could use a glow-up--maybe some new paint and flooring would turn this place into a proper Pizza Palace. Thank you Mike and team for being our go-to for laughs, memories, and carbs. It's Sunday those are the Lords carbs and he wants you to be happy. He's the only one who can judge me. See you next party! Lol read more

I placed an order at 4:05 and didn't get my pizza until 5:40... it was supposed to be here, at the latest 4:50. I called at 5:03 to ask about it and the guy told me it had been dispatched, it still took almost 45 minutes. Once I received my food the driver let me know that he gave my 2 liter soda to someone else but he did pay me back with his own money, I'd rather have my drink but he was apologetic. My food through is barely warm and instead of the 4 blue cheese dressings I asked for, I received ranch. Probably won't order from this location again. read more

0 stars if I could ! DO NOT GO HERE !!! Our pizza took an hour longer than expected to come out we patiently waited for it to come out . When we got home we served the food to our kids and guests after serving and started eating I realized there was a hair in my food and one of the kids bit into a raw piece of chicken!!! We called & explained to the cashier the situation she said if we would of liked a refund or the food she then placed us on hold after placing us on hold someone else picked up and in a very aggressive tone stated " why didn't you say that when you were here " I immediately hung up and drove to the store because this was not acceptable when I got there I said if he expected me to bite into the chicken before driving off or why would he say that comment and he rudely said " yes you should of " I could not believe this guy and he is the store manager . Absolutely unacceptable read more

Want $40.00 for a single pizza fb can't break a $100.00 bill what a joke. I would definitely not recommend this establishment

They were out of cheese, so there was no pizza available. Like how do you run out of CHEESE as a PIZZA restaurant. It wasn't even late, it was like 6 oclock. read more

Walking in, this place is definitely outdated. There is a good amount of space in here for a large party. I placed my order online for a specific pick up time early in the day. I arrived exactly at the time and was not greeted warmly, he checked on my order and said that the person was making it at the moment which should take another 7 minutes or so. There was no one else in the place and it didn't seem like other orders were being made. No apologies that my order would be a longer wait. The pizza itself was nice and cheesy, with a good amount of crunchy small round pepperoni. Some of the pepperonis were stacked on top of each other that there were four of them once! The pizza had a nice slightly crunchy bottom. The pizza itself was quite salty. read more

Food is always tasty and I love their ingredients. The pepperoni crisps to perfection. I have always like the dough at mountain mikes and feel like I get a quality, consistent pizza every time. Prices are a little steep but that's what pizza costs nowadays! Sometimes the wait times can be a little long but it's worth the wait. They also have a yummy cinnamon dessert pizza. Add one to your next order and thank me later! read more

Their food was absolutely amazing! The workers were great made the place worth it even professionally handled when some little teenage kids were making a ruckus. The Vibe Is Great ! And did I mention the food yes it was that good read more

There was a minor inconvenience while I was eating here first time and the manager who was on clock handled the seen very well, 3 kids came and was very disrespectful not cooperating and asked for water cups and got soda instead of paying for the soda. Manager called them out and said you can either pay or you can read this sign and do the following. They chose not to pay then started to be disrespectful and yell while I'm eating. Manger told them to leave and they started to record and cause a scene. read more

I ordered garlic cheese bread and medium pizza. If I haven't said it a hundred times, I'll say it a hundred and one times....CHECK YOUR ORDERs when picking up! My total was 27 bucks, which I thought was a little high for 2 basic items. They charged me for 2 orders of garlic bread and had them in the order. I told the cashier I only ordered one and: No response , just a stare, no apology or offer to remove the error. OK I'll take it, the family will eat them. I get to car and peek in the box to find over cooked, HARD garlic cheese bread! I called from car and they said they would make a new order. I asked how long because my family was hungry and it was getting late. They said "5 minutes". They brought it out and took the ruined order back. Just not a great experience and the pizza was cold by the time I got it home. Maybe this is not the friendliest, or best quality food location but I like Mountain Mike's overall..... read more
