So I got online and looked for any place else because I tried this place many years ago and it didn't go well. Finding nothing else, I decided to try again. I ordered the night before and never thought they'd get there the same week let alone the next day. But I was VERY wrong. I was wrong about everything I had thought. The roses arrived the next morning as promised. And they were the most beautiful roses I've seen in a long time. The price may have been a little higher than what I expected but for the service and beauty, I'd pay for them any day of the week and twice on Sunday! My wife was very pleased with everything about them which of course is the most important thing. I will definitely be using these folks again.

I've been in this shop several times in as many years, helping my pal with his riding mower which he gets serviced here, from time to time. My buddy also has the shop service his chain saws, of which he has several and uses A LOT throughout the year. I am very impressed by a couple of things here. Though it would seem that there is not much competition for this shop in Tehachapi, the owner (Jack) and the employees treats everyone who walks through the door like family; Extremely friendly and helpful. Jack, who obviously loves people, must pass on his people skills to the folks that work here, because they are all above and beyond what one finds in "garden" or "tool" stores or in those departments in the big box stores. On Tuesday, we waited for Jack while he was answering question after question from a needy customer. He then went outside to check out the rider/mower we brought to the shop. Of the two issues that my pal thought needed repairing, Jack showed us one issue was a minor fixit and the estimated cost of what my buddy thought needed to be done was about half of what he anticipated it was going to be. Great service from honest, home town, friendly people.

My gardener recommended them, as he said the price per shrub was $13 a piece. I called on the phone and the person who answered said they were $14 a piece. I still agreed and set up a delivery for next day, on the condition I get a call when they were on their way. I also asked if I could return any unused plants and the person said yes. The next day I was about to leave my house to run errands and up drives the delivery truck. I never received a call. I was lucky I hadn't left earlier. What set me off was when I tried to return one of the plants. The same guy I bought them from tried to return $13 to me. He either didn't remember me, or tried to play me, but I showed him the receipt with the $15 a plant on it. I don't appreciate paying more than I should have. I will never shop here again.
