My primary store is located in the San Gabriel valley, but sherwin Williams is SW. The first walk in was to conduct a color sample swatch pile for my customer. When I asked for assistance from a SW professional I was forwarded to a man named MARCOS who patiently navigated the color board picking out the color recommendations from SW color snap all in all it was about 20 color swatches he compiled for my customer. The second walk in was in to actually make The purchase of the colors to be put on the home of my customer. We selected SW latitude because the paint product is designed for the climate of the antelope valley. I am amazed by the professional etiquette of this store and its entire team. Hit all the paint stores, bought 3 sample shades from Lowe's, Home Depot & Dunn-Edwards. Tried them; nothing struck me as what I was yearning for. Stopped at Palmdale's Sherwin-William paint store and checked out blues. Looked up Sherwin Williams art deco blue, found out Naval Blue was their 2020 color of the year and the perfect throwback for art deco! Eddie Mata at the store explained the different paint finishes and I was so in love with this color we bought the paint without the sample and hoped for the best. Big shout out for Eddie - he was so helpful and explained S-W stands behind its paint and customer satisfaction and I was so excited to take it home and get the samples covered so we could start the real painting. I reached out online and was lucky enough to get paired with Vicky as my color advisor. She's been nothing short of incredible. I sent her photos, floorplans, reference images--she took it all in and gave thoughtful, expert advice, suggesting colors I never would have considered but that turned out to be perfect. She even offered smart alternatives to some of my original picks and explained the reasoning behind each suggestion. She knows color. I ordered samples through the Dunn-Edwards website, and they shipped fast, well-packed, and complete. The moment I applied them, I could tell the quality was next level--the depth, the richness, the way the colors shift subtly with light. Beautiful.
