Living where we do demands open spaces between neighbors to ensure all homes have an unobstructed view of our lake. Our next-door neighbor has a dog, which is very friendly but can be a pest. They keep her on a leash but It is long enough that she comes on our property. To alleviate the problem I asked Alex to build a wrought iron see through 3 foot fence between our properties. He did a beautiful job. His workmen are very meticulous paying attention to the slightest detail. I highly recommend him. P.S. thank you Les L for your review of him which gave me the confidence to use his services. read more

After moving into our new home we decided to add a gate to our courtyard and side entrance to backyard. We searched and after reading several positive comments about Alex, we called him and we're glad we did. He came out and had a binder with pictures of his work. We selected our gates from the internet and he had no problems making what we showed him. Once you talk to him, you can tell he takes pride in his work. He is humble, professional and explains his work, but he is a busy man so you have to be patient, but if your not in a rush, he is your man to hire. His prices are inexpensive and we liked his work. Spanish is his main language, but he does speak, with an accent, english and understand it also so their shouldn't be a language issue. Call Alex and see for yourself. I recommend Alex for your wrought iron needs. read more

Alex was in a word; awesome. He was responsive, professional and his prices are the best I've seen in Bakersfield. Start-to-finish was approximately one week and the gate is beautiful and VERY secure. After starting with other more well known companies in town, many of which never made their scheduled appointments, I came across Alex Wrought Iron on a recommendation from a friend and I consider myself very lucky that happened. Alex has a complete portfolio of his work and took a design he did for someone else and tweaked it to my specific desires and specifications. VERY pleased in my experience with Alex- if you are considering wrought iron work, please contact Alex- you will be very pleased with the results. read more

2nd to none service, you just don't find many guys like this around anymore. Alex is punctual, professional, knowledgeable and years of experience. If you're looking for someone who will get the job done right the first time this is your man. He wasn't the cheapest or the most expensive quote I received but rather somewhere in the middle. I guarantee you won't get the same quality service or materials from 90% of the guys out there and after 15 minutes of talking with him I knew this guy took his job personal. He builds his gates like if they were meant to go up on his property. So if you're looking to save a few bucks just keep on scrolling, but if you want the quality work at a fair price your search ends here! Thanks Alex! read more

Absolutely loved working with Alex. He came out and gave me a great estimate, we paid exactly what he quoted and not a penny more. He was prompt, respectful, very professional and had a wonderful eye for design and fence building. He finished the job a head of schedule and his communication with us was wonderful. Stop reading here and call them. You have found your wrought iron company. Alex Wrought Iron is amazing! I called Alex Wrought Iron to replace a trio of wooden gates, two on either side of my house, plus one leading to an enclosed part of my yard. Alex and his son came out, carefully measured all three areas, showed me lots of samples of their previous work, and really worked with me to establish what I wanted to do to a level of custom detail that was really amazing. I was able to choose upper detail, lower detail, meshing, the exact types of locks I wanted, the direction the gates would swing, the ratios for a extra large gate to an RV parking area... every little detail. Alex's son is a genius with wrought iron painting and suggested a type of quick drying paint that was perfect for our needs and worked with us on color. The whole job was done amazingly quickly, only about two weeks from the first meeting to completed installs of all gates. It's now six months later, all three gates are still gorgeous, they are so perfectly balanced you can move them with your pinky finger and they're standing up to both Bakersfield sun and freezes without a single ripple or problem. Everything is tightly integrated to the existing fencing and sides of the house. You can tell just by looking at them that they'll still look and work great years and years from now. Best of all, the estimate for the work was extremely reasonable -- the least expensive estimate I received! -- and Alex was extremely communicative at every step of the process, telling me exactly what would happen and when. They carted off the old wooden gates and did a great clean-up of all three work sites, even cutting away and removing an obsolete pillar that the house's previous owners had put in for a cheapo fix to a previous problem, something that wasn't even within the scope of the job I asked for. They just did it because it made the gates they put in look better. All in all, I'm thrilled with Alex Wrought Iron. Call them! You won't be disappointed. read more

Professional - Down to earth - Great product - Better customer service! We hired Alex to get our RV parking wrought iron gates installed. It was a pleasure working with both Alex and Alex. Jr. They both worked with us throughout the process starting from designing the gate till the final installation. Price wise he was the most reasonable compared to all the quotes we got, installation was on time and completely hassle free! The gates turned out better than we expected, but it was the customer service that got them the five star review. read more

After waiting all afternoon for a well-known wrought iron company to arrive for their scheduled appointment and not being able to contact anyone at their office, I gave up on them and found Alex Wrought Iron. We couldn't be happier with him and are thankful we didn't hire the other company. Alex is punctual, efficient, reliable, professional and extremely nice. Not at all pushy and easy to work with. His work is superior and he goes the extra mile. He made and installed a security gate and shortened our porch chandelier at no extra cost. He also spray-painted the RV gates to match the security gate for a reasonable price. The gate is heavy-duty, looks great and his prices can't be beat. My husband and I are very happy with Alex Wrought Iron and feel that our house is more secure with his high quality security gate. Highly recommended! Alex Wrought Iron 661 331-3070 read more

We bought a house in Tehachapi after three outrageous estimates I checked with Yelp saw the reviews and work done by Alex. Lowest estimate but the craftsmanship is superior and the materials used were outstanding quality. I can't tell you how pleased we are with his work. On time does what he says he will and didn't try to increase the price. We live at 19340 Tucker Rd drive by and see his incredible work. read more
