I first had Morrison fencing rebuild our entire fence about 20 years ago. We are no longer at that home, but it still looks great. Steve is creative in helping you figure out everything from basic fencing repair to fencing projects. My last idea was to replace the fencing around our pool equipment and he figured out how to increase the area and include a gate for better access of pool toys. He is a great listener and can easily envision exactly what you want. Contractors of all kinds are hard to get an appointment with, and that is just how it is right now. Steve has always been straight forward with his timeline and pricing. He is very hard working, dependable, reliable and trustworthy. read more

He moved to Oklahoma. The work was well done and on time. The thing I really like is the use of steel posts as opposed to wood 4x4. No more rotting fence posts. But unfortunately the left Bakersfield and moved to Oklahoma. Oops, they didn't move to Oklahoma. They are still in Bakersfield. Great, I will certainly use them again. read more

Secured loose boards and replaced damaged boards after the wind storm in February 2024. Attached footer boards along the perimeter of my fence. Overall the work was outstanding, only a few boards were not securely attached to the footer. The pricing was reasonable and the value was evident. read more

They were timely, quick, and well worth the price. They installed the fence in a day and were really flexible with when they were going to complete the install. Our fence looks great and I would recommend them to anyone looking for repair or replacement. read more

Good customer service and very reliable. Found this company through yelp using its free quotes feature. I needed 6 fence posts replaced in my leaning fence. Called 3 places and Morrison was the only company that came out to give an in person estimate, to get a real idea of what needed to be repaired. The owner and his wife were super nice and willing to accommodate my daughter's napping schelude. Day of repair came, the head leader guy called to apologize that he was running late. He came an hour later, informed me that he was down a guy and the one guy that was with him, was training, so theyve been working slow all morning. Not a problem. They went right to work, kept busy the entire time, all in all it took nearly 5 hours to complete. I would recommend them and use them again read more

My wife and I live in a 1940's home that was built with a long open driveway with no gate across it. This was apparently the style at the time that it was built. Eventually we got tired of chasing our dogs down our driveway and through the neighborhood on a daily basis. We finally decided we needed a double drive wooden gate across the driveway. I spent the better part of a month calling nearly every contractor in town that does fences and gates and after careful consideration I chose Steve Morrison. Steve was friendly, affordable, and showed up when he said he would. He kept me apprised of the projects status and gave me design options. I wound up with a product much nicer than I had initially planned on, and it was well within budget. I would recommend Steve Morrison Fencing for any fencing or custom gate projects you have. read more

A few months ago I wanted to start doing some home repairs. I wanted to start with some fencing so I could have some peace of mind about my dogs getting out. I called around to a half a dozen people to get info and quotes. I was not treated very nice by almost all of the people or companies that I spoke to. Then I called Morrison fencing. The receptionist was so friendly and informative. We got a quote and decided to go ahead with thier services. The fencing looks absolutely amazing. I was so impressed by what a huge difference a beautiful fence makes. Everyone I dealt with through the whole process was super nice and treated me with dignity and respect. I highly recommend Morrison fencing and look forward to more business with them in the future! read more

I've used them twice in the past year with all the wind blowing sections of my fence over. They are extremely prompt and professional. Show when they say with will, call prior, and clean up everything when they leave. They did more than I expected recently by replacing some extra slats and reinforcing the screws on each slat of the fixed panel. One guy even walked the fence line and randomly reinforced screws- above and beyond IMO. read more

We will always call Morrison Fencing for our fence installations and/or repairs. Our wooden gates were in disrepair, and Morrison and his team created functional and stately replacements that were built to last. Great customer service Excellent workmanship Fair Price read more

During a recent rainstorm, the wind knocked down of back yard picket fence. We're semi new to the Bakersfield area, so looked for a local fencing company with good reviews. I'm very happy we reached out to Morrison Fencing. Eric come out and provided us with 2 different options to either repair the fence or a complete replacement. He was very honest and helpful when he was onsite providing the quote. We ended up hiring them to repair the fence, and they showed up on time and completed the repairs within a few hours. They were very professional, and clean. They even made sure our drive way was swept on their way out. I would definitely recommend them and will keep them in mind to replace the entire fence in a couple of years. read more

Had fence and rv gates done. Excellent customer service and they explained every single detail. Excellent work! Highly recommended.

Eric was super nice and was able to make it out for repairs before our scheduled appointment. Very helpful and super friendly

Good work, great customer service. They arrived when they said they would and finished the fence in one day. So far I'm happy with everything. read more

Quick and reliable, used steel to assure fence would remain stable. The owner Steve and staff were customer centric.

Eric and his team were very professional and have great customer service. Eric gave me a reasonable quote for doing 4 wooden doors and a complete replacement of my RV gate panels. It was super hot and they still managed to do almost all of them in a day. Eric only charged for the work he had done until he was ready to come back a couple days later to finish the last door. If you ask him to do it a certain way, he listens and makes sure you get what you want but with him also giving his professional opinion to make sure what you want will work. I wanted latches on all my doors, no problem he did it. He forgot one latch, and came back the next day to put it on with no problem. Doing a great job is one thing, but having the customer service Eric had is what makes customers into repeat customers ! read more

My go-to contractor for fence and gate repairs I don't want to touch. I generally can arrange everything via phone or text and not have to worry. read more

Did a great job in constructing a contoured, 6 foot redwood privacy fence behind our pool and spa. In an area with alot of underground electrical, gas lines and pool plumbing, in addition to lawn irrigation pipes, did not break a thing. Clearly superior material and construction methods to other local fence contractors I have used. Coated dual thread screws were used instead of the more common and cheaper staples; heavy gauge steel posts (camouflaged by redwood frame) set deep in concrete so no 4x4's to rot out. Same price as the competition but clearly superior product and workmanship. Eric and Frank were the guys who built our fence. Will definitely use this company again. read more

What can I say about Morrison fencing... Eric is absolutely an amazing carpenter. I had purchased pre made cedar wood fence panels. The metal stakes that came with them were awful. I contacted Steve and from there Eric came by with a great quote and quick start date. Eric definitely went above any beyond in his craft. He did a beautiful job customizing the fence and gate with these panels. It took 2 days, they worked hard, and even in the rain at one point. We also had Eric removed our side metal gate, replaced with a custom wood gate, and a post that gave out in the backyard. I am so happy! Thank you, Eric. We are very grateful and appreciative of you and your work. I definitely recommend Morrison Fencing for all of your wood needs. read more

My fence was damaged in the recent series of storms. Eric gave me an estimate and talked with me about what kind of replacement I wanted for my damaged fence. Steve called and set up a date for the fence work. Eric called the day before to confirm the details and called the day of installation to let me know when he would arrive. I am very happy with my fence. The materials used were of good quality and the fence is beautiful. The fence is well constructed, and the site was cleaned before Eric left. I would highly recommend Morrison Fencing. read more

Thank you so much to Steve Morrison and his crew for coming out to fix our fence after it fell over in the wind storm. The quality of the work was exceptional with a great price, but even better than that was working with Steve and his crew. Steve Morrison is such a kind man and a blessing to find. From the first contact with his business and talking to the nice woman who answered the phone and got us scheduled in a timely manner, to the in person quote by Steve, to the final day where Steve and his crew fixed our fence, each interaction was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. My Husband and I felt like we've known Steve like a friend after just meeting him twice. If you're looking for someone to provide great fence work, Steve Morrison fencing is the one to go with. We will recommend him from here on out and use him in the future if necessary. Thanks Steve! read more

They came and replaced our old side gate and did a great job! The craftsmanship is amazing and the job was completed on time. Steve was very pleasant to deal with the entire time and his crew was very professional. He was very upfront about the timing and costs and took the time to explain to us about the shortage of wood and how that would affect our job. read more

Beautiful fencing, great addition to our house. Easy to work with and good value for the cost. My only complaints are they waited to the day of the job to source the materials, had trouble finding picket fencing and then showed up 2 hours after scheduled time. Kept getting called out to bid on other jobs so ours took a lot longer than planned and they did not clean up after done. Love the fencing though. read more

I needed a new fence around three sides of my property. Steve and his crew transformed my yard! They arrived early and worked late, completing the job in only two days. They used steel posts set in concrete and 6-foot redwood slats (beautiful) and wood screws, so this fence will outlast me! They were punctual, tidy, and professional (they even ran a magnet over my lawn to pick up loose nails when they were through). They also managed to preserve my jasmine vine and helped me drape it back over the fence. These guys are worth every penny. If you are looking for a fence that will provide safety, privacy, and beauty, look no further. Morrison Fencing is the best! read more

I contacted Steve Morrison recently for an estimate for some repair work on a wooden fence and gate at our house that the recent wind storms had pummeled. The office person couldn't have been nicer and scheduled a timely appointment. Steve came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate for the proposed work. His crew showed up on time yesterday and did a very nice job repairing the fence and gate. I definitely would use his services again and highly recommend his company to others in need of fence repair. Mr. Morrison specializes in fence repair and the work he and his crew did reflects this skill. Thanks again! read more
