Nothing to say in this review that has not been said before - this is just not what we have come to expect from 2 years of TT travels along the Oregon and Washingtion coast. After receiving our assigned spot in the south section, a review of the 21 rules that we had to follow, which included "Do not dye your hair in the bathroom", we were informed to wait 15 minutes at the gate as it was 11:45 and check-in was 12:00. The front desk staff is neither warm nor welcoming. Will not state again. that the sites are small and Phase 1 has a ridiculous lay out, but it is all true. We traveled to our spot, it was not going to work - our dining room slide was 2 feet from our neighbor and we heard all of their conversations. My husband called up front, requesting a move, noted entire empty sections not stacked on top of each other and was informed those were reserved for Retail Customers. Well, that is something new to us. She was finally able to offer us some options, we moved to one of the spaces and settled in for a few nights. The next day, after noting in the TT pamphlet handed us along with the 21 Rules, that the laundry closed at 8:00 pm, we moved some laundry into the dryer at 6, went to get a bite, ended up being later then planned, arrived back to the grounds to find the laundry room, which has a coded keypad lock, dead bolted and could not access our clean laundry. Oh and the sign at the door actually has the laundry closing at 7 pm. Just ridiculous. why have a key coded lock and a dead bolt? Needless to say we left early, this was just not the welcoming space we are accustomed to at a TT resort. Moving down the coast to Oceana in Ocean Shores was the perfect option and glad this resort was able to accomodate our day early arrival with a welcoming smile and a map to pick out our space.

Definitely bring a spare lure; our first attempt, we had to cut the line as it got snagged on some rocks. Saw a lot of people on the beach, enjoying a picnic or even kayaking out to crab boxes in the evening. Beautiful park overall. Make sure you're sure-footed if you're going to climb the rocks.

There were people performing music on the stage and park goers enjoying on the grass. Just to the left of the stage there's a path to the beach. Another 2-3 minute descent brings you to a trail going left and right. The path to the left is a short trail to a rock you can sit on and climb down to get to the water. Further that way there's another beach. The path to the right leads to a nice beach with a great view and a shade tree. There were some bugs in the washed up kelp, but nothing too bothersome imho. We had a stand up paddleboard so we used the path on the right after the stage area. I would recommend anyone bringing gear down (scuba, kayaks, paddleboards) to use this beach. Larger crafts can use the boat ramp just north of this beach, and you can drive right up to that ramp (north of the stage and parking area). It was a beautiful park and a great place to picnic, enjoy the water, and view the sunset!
