La Conner Marina is a great place for boaters and visitors…read more The marina features extensive covered moorage on 8 docks, two large guest docks, clean and comfortable restrooms, large laundry facility, two pumpout machines (one on each guest dock) and expensive outdoor/lawn/picnic space. Most of the slips feature finger piers on both sides of the boat, making this a very desirable location for covered moorage. As such, expect a long waitlist that could have you waiting for two or three years. Plenty of parking even when they host large events like the 4th of July celebration. Staff is friendly, courteous and very responsive to inquiries and issues. I haven't reviewed the RV park, as I haven't stayed there, but as a casual observer, the park is clean, reasonably lit without being too bright, close to the restrooms and laundry, and a short walk from town.

The first weekend was last summer, and the second one was this past weekend when we "glamped" there to once again meet up with friends who were docked at the marina for the weekend. The RV park is definitely no frills. The sites are close together, the trees are few and far between, and the sites don't include picnic tables or firepits. But they are all full-hookup, the park is well maintained and quiet, and you can't beat the sweet streets of downtown La Conner being just a quick walk (or even quicker drive) down the street. There's also a bathhouse with toilets and showers, all of which were immaculately clean. (You can get the door code from the campground host at RV Site #1.)

The office exuded warmth and comfort, complete with a coffee machine and a bowl of candy for guests. Staff members were frequently seen navigating the park in a convenient golf cart, ensuring everything ran smoothly for visitors. The park itself offers a variety of recreational spaces, including a large downhill field with a small podium at the base, as well as a nearby expansive field and a pickleball court. Guests can enjoy a seating area at the top of the hill and there is a nearby shack that provides firewood and propane for convenience. Some of the park's sites include cozy cabins, each furnished with a comfortable chair, desk, and a generous king-size bed, along with a window offering views of the RV area. Every campsite features a personal fire pit and picnic table, ideal for relaxing outdoors.Overall, this RV park combines friendly service, comfortable accommodations, and well-maintained recreational areas. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant and welcoming environment for their stay.

The shower water in the community shower is barely lukewarm. I asked the lady at the front desk,…read moreand she said the shower was cold because of the type of push button shower knob and there was nothing they could do to fix the cold shower water. A bit later I was able to get a sneak peek at the hot water heaters and they were turned all the way down to the lowest possible temperature setting. This maybe fine during the summer but it is now headed into winter and the park refuses to provide hot shower water in the community restroom. Other than the cold shower water, the park is very clean and well maintained.

The park is quiet, beautiful, and very family-oriented; perfect for a relaxing getaway. The yurt itself was cozy with a bathroom, shower, towels, super clean and there was a dining table for four, microwave, dishes, bowls, silverware and a full sized refrigerator freezer. Coffee cups, Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee and teas. I'd never stayed in a yurt before but I really liked it. The king sized bed was comfortable, the setting was unique, making the experience both fun and comfortable. What really stood out was the lodge with heated indoor pool, a pool table with party room. The location is ideal how convenient the location is: just a quick hop to I-5, and close to gas stations and convenience stores for anything you might need as well as a very high end grocery store where you can get food to grill on the huge gas grill in YurtvlrIt's the best mix of peaceful retreat and easy access. I'll definitely be coming back!

Why did this typical penny pinching Jew decide to pay 100's of $'s versus $0. Atmosphere, location & a good old fashion family not corporate ownership. I wake up and see 50' away the truly beautiful Skagit River AND my unbelievably conveniently docked inflatable boat. To the east is beautiful farmland and the west ancient marshes with paths to Craft Island. The sunsets have been spectacular. The river is famous for Salmon and judging by the occasional huge splash and swirls I'd wager the stories of great fishing experiences here for decades are not exaggerated. Best of all, jump in my boat at high tide and within minutes I am out in Puget Sound. Navigation at the mouth is a bit tricky but once mastered... nothing beats the feeling of rustic freedom like rounding the bend in the Skagit one of maybe a dozen boats that travel on the river during an average day. Paul & Choung Blake area friendly, fair, hard working gems that take a healthy and balanced sense of pride in the park and it shows in everything from the well maintained boat ramp, bathrooms, sites, trash receptacles, play ground with old style swings of 3 different types, reasonable priced clean laundry room, etc... Most sites are under $50!!! In peak season! Not free... but to me... worth paying for when I coild of had very nice AND free.

If you arrive late, you can park and check in in the morning (now that we've been doing this for a while, that seems to be the norm). Friendly staff, gorgeous views, beach access, base police make regular rounds, and the bathroom facilities are clean and warm. It's nice to take a shower in an area big enough that if you drop something, you don't have to get out of the shower to pick it up. ;-) The dogs loved the path and the nearness of the beach for potty potty breaks. Man, this place is so windy. If I might make a recommendation...keep your awning in. Only put it out when you plan to sit under it...otherwise, keep it in. Prices are competitive. There is a playground and giant chess set. BBQ's provided at each site. Back in, pull through, 50 amp, 30 amp, tent camping, yurts, oh...and fun "art" installations along the path. If you're into tetanus PT, there's a pull-up area covered in rust!
