Our spot was D16 which had plenty of room and situated close to the off-leash park.

Stayed for 4th of July week and it is a very nice park. They are definitely strict about the rules in this place, maybe a tad bit much, BUT after a week you can see why. Very clean, extremely safe, all amenities that you need while camping and probably the best WIFI I have ever seen at an RV resort. The manager is a very nice lady and extremely helpful. We will definitely stay again. Some cons, quiet time is early most likely due to the full timers (don't let that dissuade you, these folks have some serious rigs in this place!), leash law STRICTLY enforced and their breed specific ban is off the charts ridiculous, I mean Boxers, really?!? Now for my personal disclaimer; this park would totally get 5 stars from me if it weren't for the dog restrictions but that can probably be an insurance thing. I recommend this place, it won't disappoint.

We had the pleasure of staying here for two weeks and it is positively gorgeous! Best of both worlds trees all around you fart a nice cool air but it is only half a mile from the ocean! This is the best RV spot for Campers in Anacortes hands-down!

Absolutely love this RV Park! This is our second visit as we were here at the same time last year. (Jan-Apr) We stay in a super site and make good use of the private gazebo. It works great for being able to cook and socialize outdoors even in the rainy weather. Sites are all roomy and level. Power towers and sewer hookups are top notch. We have a solid 4G signal (Verizon). The hosts have always been very friendly and helpful and the maintenance crew keeps the grounds in tip-top condition. The bathhouse is roomy and clean and the machines in the laundry room work fine. The park is in a great location to check out Anacortes, Oak Harbor, San Juan Islands, Fidalgo Bay, Burlington and Mount Vernon. It's only a 40 minute drive to Bellingham. Can't say enough about the place. It will always be our RV Park of choice for this area!

You can get larger lots too. We are in a 30' with 3 tip outs. 1 large SUV, and a full size P/U with room to move.

This place is beautiful. I'm here for work and was looking for a quiet serene place. And we found it!! Very clean all throughout the park. Tall trees and being in a cove like environment makes it feel like you are far from everything. The staff is incredible and all that they offer. Like dropping your propane tanks at the front desk and coming back when you have time to pick up. No waiting around. They come through the park with a leaf blower and blow the pine needles away to keep it looking in tip top shape. Garbage is always picked up in a timely manor. I researched all the 30 miles around for 2 1/2 months to find this place. Well worth the wait!! So glad we found this beautiful place.

Our site next to the playground, spacious and private

We stayed at 6 different parks during our vacation and Pioneer Trails was definitely the nicest. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The owner of the park personally parks all incoming RVs so they are very aware of their clientele. Felt very safe and comfortable. Very family friendly. Site was well treed and private. Highly recommend!

I have been staying at TT La conner for 2 years as I build my new home in La Conner and my brother John died there in my motorhome at site 133 on Jan. 20, 2025. I have made many friends with the staff and many of the full-time residents have never had a problem until this horrible treatment. I had just checked in and was trying to find site 300 and I had no idea of how to get there in my 33' motorhome flat towing a car with a Road Master Tow Bar and of course it is common knowledge that if backed up without unhooking the car, serious damage can occur to the car, tow bar and motorhome that I had just filled the gas tank with 80 gallons of gasoline. This is very serious as the same model motor home (Bounder) had recently caught fire here and it was destroyed. This guy with a big belly and in a beat up old looking little car and DID NOT have any TT clothing and I had never seen him before this, blocked my motorhome started chasing me thru the park, until I stopped in front of my friend's sites and I got out to check this strangers TT ID only to find out he did not have any! He then got out of his car and went crazy in front of my new rear camera with color and sound and said "I am getting in your face and you are being kicked out of the park, leave now, go get out, go now leave and kept repeating this aggressive and threating behavior that escalated the situation putting his finger way to close to my face and escalating the situation that was witnessed by many other people and it appeared that he had a young girl in the car. I thought I was having a heart attack, seriously, I then drove swiftly to the Ranger Staton to report this person for enforcing TT rules and not being an employee per TT rules. Upon arriving at the Ranger Station my motorhome was surrounded by my friends and TT employees in golf carts and the guy in the car and then they all huddled around his car, and I watched and heard them on my rear cam getting their story straight with the "Bad Ass" (her words) manager Kelly King, I was shocked by this protocol due to my previous experience. Officer Hockenberry from Swinomish P.D. arrived at the scene and stated that guy that was harassing me did work there and that it was just a misunderstanding and it was my choice I could stay at the park or leave, I was so upset and disgusted that I decided to leave and seek medical help. I had Heart Surgery Sept 30, 2025, at Everett Providence Cardiac Surgery Center by Dr Sharma at the cost of $100,000. The next day while recovering in my MH at this park I was surprised by my friend a TT employee parked his golf cart and served me the unsigned notice that I was kicked out for 60 days with Kelly Kings name at the bottom but No signature, which does not appear to be legal in Washington State, in my opinion. Kelly was very devious 6 times when I requested the name and employee status of this vicious guy with the big belly so I could file a complaint and most likely legal action. The next evening a Red Corvette was going the wrong way at high rate of speed and parked at the lodge and jumped in a white car that left at a high rate of speed going the wrong way. Then my friend Officer Hockenberry came in hot pursuit of the Corvette stating he clocked it 80 mph on Snee Oosh near the Fire Station, how did this happen with a locked gate? I have recorded 8 vehicles going the wrong way and several exceeding the 5-mph speed limit, minors driving cars alone. In my observation, Kelly should focus on the many current problems and not be persuaded by an insecure salesman trying to play the "Ego driven, Big Man Wanna be Cop" in my observation and opinion. I have talked to my friends who are legality employed by TT and always have easily identifiable TT logo clothing and TT trucks or golf carts none of them thought this over reaction was not justified.

The camp sites themselves are good sized, we easily fit 2 tents and our cars. There was a fire pit and a picnic table too. We had access to the river and enjoyed a nice cold plunge on a warm day. There are two sides to this campground, an east and a west loop. My spot was on the east loop, space 15 and I'd definitely recommend the spaces on the east loop, as they give you ample privacy with equally ample access to the creek and the North Fork of the Skykomish River. No power hookups means you can set the devices aside and worry little about what's happening in the city. Out here, the entertainment is happening in nature. Views of surrounding peaks, the rush of the water as it flows past and as night falls, the dotting of stars in the inky black sky will give you exactly what you need before heading back to civilization. Nature truly is the best. I'll be back to this campground again, no doubt.

The awe inspiring beauty of Deception Pass Bridge and it's massive state park surrounds the RV park along with the beautiful Cornet Bay across the street. This amongst so much more makes exploring on nature walks, canoeing, boating, hiking... a hop, skip & a jump away. Almost literally. You can't help but enjoy all that comes with this location. North Whidbey RV Park is clean and the spacious campsites are well maintained by the conscientious staff. We've had the pleasure of getting to know almost all of them. In this day and age, we find it uncommon in our travels, to find people that care and take their jobs seriously. Which always entail following the rules & guidelines of an establishment for the comfort & safety of all who patronize a business. The staff here are friendly, professional, incredibly kind and... brace yourself, they follow the rules to a T. (Insert gasp here.) Sometimes people may feel fudging the rules a little isn't a big deal for THEIR own "comfort". However, the rules are made for the overall experience of ALL to feel safe & enjoy the location that sticks to the rules. Sadly, this manages to ruffle some feathers for those that fail to consider the enjoyment of others, basically self absorbed & see things only from their own perspective. Now having said that, there is always 2 sides of an experience to see the bigger picture. There was 2- 1 star reviews left by 2 people from the same party describing events that were incredibly untruthful. In fact spun to paint a narrative. @Clysta F. & Emmy mentions the dog park and the "lady" across from the dog park... I take my dog to said dog park upward of 3+ times a day. On the day Clysta mentions, I arrived at the dog park when these kids were already there. They were throwing a football to each other in the fenced-in dog park. They did not have a dog. Mind you, there are large open, beautifully maintained grass areas on either side of the dog park. But these kids chose to be in the fenced dog area. Even after I took my dog in to throw the frisbee for him, they stayed. This did make it awkward to play with my dog. When the ball went over the tall fence, the boy climbed over it to retrieve it rather than walk out the gate. When he attempted to do so a 2nd time the aforementioned lady told him not to climb the fence & pointed out the obvious, they were in the dog park, "for the dogs". The boy (I'd say teenager) disrespectfully told her that he, "identifies as a dog". He was incredibly disrespectful from then on. They then left the fenced dog park & played where they should've been playing all along, the side lawns of the fenced area. Then another young woman & a little boy joined them, & they came back into the dog park (sans a dog) where the young man attempted to climb the fence AGAIN. For a 2nd time, he was told not to climb the fence. He then responded, "I can do anything I want too!" This is when our lady's husband came out of their trailer & clarified to him not to do that again. When they learned that they were speaking to one of the employees of the park, said party of 4 tucked tail & left immediately. So the lady across the way from the dog park is in fact, "a lady" but one that stands by the rules. Her husband carries many jobs around the park who also stands by the rules. In a short period of time, I've grown rather fond of this lady & her gentleman. So no need to be weary of the lady across from the dog park unless you break the rules. As for the "story" regarding being charged for dog poop left on their campsite... This too is a rule. I personally am known at a few campsites, as the "Poop Nazi" (proud of it!) because there's nothing that irritates me more than people who do not pick up after their dogs. The caveat in Clysta's case... Apparently unbeknownst to her, there are surveillance cameras all around the park for the safety & again comfort for all who stay at this lovely RV Park. So this "picture" that she states was "supposedly" taken, was in fact surveillance. The $25 charge was legitimate and warranted. I do not have patience for people that spin stories to fit their agenda & especially to leave a one star rating that is not valid nor remotely true. Ultimately what they do is paint a false picture that may cause people to miss out on enjoying a reasonably priced camping experience that comes with the surrounding amenities & beauty, ultimately a safe environment & lovely memories to be made with their children who would love this place. So if you are reading this to gain a perspective on whether or not to try out this establishment, I highly encourage you do so. You won't be disappointed, unless you don't like following rules & guidelines that ultimately benefit you and all who stay and/or you have a child that identifies as a fence climbing dog.

There were people performing music on the stage and park goers enjoying on the grass. Just to the left of the stage there's a path to the beach. Another 2-3 minute descent brings you to a trail going left and right. The path to the left is a short trail to a rock you can sit on and climb down to get to the water. Further that way there's another beach. The path to the right leads to a nice beach with a great view and a shade tree. There were some bugs in the washed up kelp, but nothing too bothersome imho. We had a stand up paddleboard so we used the path on the right after the stage area. I would recommend anyone bringing gear down (scuba, kayaks, paddleboards) to use this beach. Larger crafts can use the boat ramp just north of this beach, and you can drive right up to that ramp (north of the stage and parking area).
