We've had the most incredible experience at this KOA. It's super unfortunate that others had such bad ones because this KOA is one of the prettiest we've seen. Its location is perfect for so many different things as well. My family is on a month long road trip and booking sites as we go. From the moment we called this location to book, dealing with security ( we arrived an hour after office closing ) to every step along our stay. The owner helped us with laundry and gave our children suckers which made their day. We swam in the indoor pool which was super clean. The parks were all in great shape and the people working here are all so friendly! One gave us a suggestion for a cool dog trail nearby where he could roam off leash. The camping spots are all spacious and you don't feel trapped on top of each other. This has been one of our favorite stops and we will definitely return. I think it says something that the owner/staff can turn their tune and learn from past comments. Don't miss out on this fun stop! Give them a chance like we did. We did not regret it.

As a family we really enjoy this location as a quick get away since it's not too far from home. All of the staff is extremely friendly. They do not allow visitors which I don't mind, it keeps the place quiet and family friendly. It's a great spot for a lot to do, hit up deception pass for a day exploring and hiking the coast. Head north towards Bellingham and chuckanut dr, so many good hikes in that area as well. During tulip season this is a great place to stay as it's not far from the tulip fields at all, keeps you in town and out of the massive amounts of traffic coming off/on the highways. Lots of good food options not too far from here as well as a Camping World location for all your RV/camping needs and supplies.

I've stayed at this KOA Kampground a few times each year for the last 3 or so years, mostly for Dirt Cup and World of Outlaw Sprint Car racing events at the nearby Skagit Speedway. We have always stayed at the full RV pads, which include sewage, water, power and cable TV hookups as well as a picnic table and fire pit. The campground is quiet and it is tucked just far enough away from the Old Hwy 99 that you don't hear the traffic once actually inside the campground. They also have spots for tents, trucks with campers, etc in case you don't need the full hookups, and in addition there are also cabins. The bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily, and have always been clean when I have gone to use them. It's just nice to be able to take a hot shower at the campground, especially after a dusty day at the racetrack. There is a small shop on site for forgotten necessities, and they also rent bicycles, which the kids seem to enjoy, as they are always in abundance cruising around the campground. KOA is also pet-friendly. The location is conveniently close to Mount Vernon where you can find shops, food, etc.

Rude and unhelpful staff; stiff rules; stayed in KOAs over the years and this is only the second time I leave a poor review.

The park is well maintained, only complaint is their inconsistency in keeping vehicles off of grass at each site.

The road to the camp is a bit of a trekk. It's long, windy, and much of it dirt with pot holes. There's also no cell service out there so be sure to communicate with anyone you're meeting shortly after turning off highway 2. The camp sites themselves are good sized, we easily fit 2 tents and our cars. There was a fire pit and a picnic table too. We had access to the river and enjoyed a nice cold plunge on a warm day. There were several hikes in the area to choose from but we couldn't turn down the incredible Lake Blanca, whose trailhead was only a few minutes away. We look forward to visiting this campground again next year.

There are two sides to this campground, an east and a west loop. My spot was on the east loop, space 15 and I'd definitely recommend the spaces on the east loop, as they give you ample privacy with equally ample access to the creek and the North Fork of the Skykomish River. No power hookups means you can set the devices aside and worry little about what's happening in the city. Out here, the entertainment is happening in nature. Views of surrounding peaks, the rush of the water as it flows past and as night falls, the dotting of stars in the inky black sky will give you exactly what you need before heading back to civilization. Nature truly is the best. I'll be back to this campground again, no doubt.

Staff members were frequently seen navigating the park in a convenient golf cart, ensuring everything ran smoothly for visitors. A bit later I was able to get a sneak peek at the hot water heaters and they were turned all the way down to the lowest possible temperature setting. This maybe fine during the summer but it is now headed into winter and the park refuses to provide hot shower water in the community restroom. Other than the cold shower water, the park is very clean and well maintained.

I have been staying at TT La conner for 2 years as I build my new home in La Conner and my brother John died there in my motorhome at site 133 on Jan. 20, 2025. I have made many friends with the staff and many of the full-time residents have never had a problem until this horrible treatment. I had just checked in and was trying to find site 300 and I had no idea of how to get there in my 33' motorhome flat towing a car with a Road Master Tow Bar and of course it is common knowledge that if backed up without unhooking the car, serious damage can occur to the car, tow bar and motorhome that I had just filled the gas tank with 80 gallons of gasoline. This is very serious as the same model motor home (Bounder) had recently caught fire here and it was destroyed. This guy with a big belly and in a beat up old looking little car and DID NOT have any TT clothing and I had never seen him before this, blocked my motorhome started chasing me thru the park, until I stopped in front of my friend's sites and I got out to check this strangers TT ID only to find out he did not have any! He then got out of his car and went crazy in front of my new rear camera with color and sound and said "I am getting in your face and you are being kicked out of the park, leave now, go get out, go now leave and kept repeating this aggressive and threating behavior that escalated the situation putting his finger way to close to my face and escalating the situation that was witnessed by many other people and it appeared that he had a young girl in the car. I thought I was having a heart attack, seriously, I then drove swiftly to the Ranger Staton to report this person for enforcing TT rules and not being an employee per TT rules. Upon arriving at the Ranger Station my motorhome was surrounded by my friends and TT employees in golf carts and the guy in the car and then they all huddled around his car, and I watched and heard them on my rear cam getting their story straight with the "Bad Ass" (her words) manager Kelly King, I was shocked by this protocol due to my previous experience. Officer Hockenberry from Swinomish P.D. arrived at the scene and stated that guy that was harassing me did work there and that it was just a misunderstanding and it was my choice I could stay at the park or leave, I was so upset and disgusted that I decided to leave and seek medical help. I had Heart Surgery Sept 30, 2025, at Everett Providence Cardiac Surgery Center by Dr Sharma at the cost of $100,000. The next day while recovering in my MH at this park I was surprised by my friend a TT employee parked his golf cart and served me the unsigned notice that I was kicked out for 60 days with Kelly Kings name at the bottom but No signature, which does not appear to be legal in Washington State, in my opinion. Kelly was very devious 6 times when I requested the name and employee status of this vicious guy with the big belly so I could file a complaint and most likely legal action. The next evening a Red Corvette was going the wrong way at high rate of speed and parked at the lodge and jumped in a white car that left at a high rate of speed going the wrong way. Then my friend Officer Hockenberry came in hot pursuit of the Corvette stating he clocked it 80 mph on Snee Oosh near the Fire Station, how did this happen with a locked gate? I have recorded 8 vehicles going the wrong way and several exceeding the 5-mph speed limit, minors driving cars alone. In my observation, Kelly should focus on the many current problems and not be persuaded by an insecure salesman trying to play the "Ego driven, Big Man Wanna be Cop" in my observation and opinion. I have talked to my friends who are legality employed by TT and always have easily identifiable TT logo clothing and TT trucks or golf carts none of them thought this over reaction was not justified.

It was still overcast, but no rain can be a plus when out hiking. The entrance to the park is well marked and there is a parking lot for those who are at the park for day use like we were. After parking our car we set out to explore the trails down to the river and back. Informational signs spot the trail and provide background and helpful tidbits if you are on the look-out for wildlife or their tracks. The mosquitos were fiercest at the parking lot and a number of them bit me through my clothing. Coming back I'd wear more layers or insect repellent if trying not to get bit. The trail we walked ran along the Skagit River for a short bit then twisted through the woods and back to the parking lot. On the way out to the Skagit River we passed a clearing. The grass was tall in the clearing center, but around the edges the grass had been cut to provide a walking path if one so yearned. We encountered mostly birds on our visit in terms of wildlife. The park itself wasn't too busy when we arrived, but we started to see more people by the time we departed. Restrooms were clean and we maintained our social distance.
