Wow! We've been wanting to try this literally brand new RV park recently added by the Port of…read moreAnacortes, and we weren't disappointed. Featuring 25 full hookup sites, each professionally landscaped and with its own picnic table, the sites here are large, level, and you don't feel like you're right on top of your neighbors. Most of the sites were back-in, but there are a few pull-through sites too. The on-site bathroom is not only one of the nicest campground restrooms I've ever visited, it's one the nicest restrooms I've ever visited in general. There's also a small coin-op laundry area, utility sink, and even a water bottle filling area inside. The park was clean and quiet during our two night visit. It's also just a few minutes walk (or a level bike ride) to several restaurants and grocery stores. We will definitely be adding this to our regular weekend getaway rotation! I definitely recommend getting a reservation, as the park appeared completely full this weekend.

Great views, great hiking & walking paths, very beautiful scenery to observe, nice clean…read morerestrooms/showers....................... but the internet at this place SUCKS !!!! We stayed for three (3) nights and every night we wanted to stream something and relax but it was so frustrating that we just gave up. This place needs to update their band width or research what the exact problem is. After a nice long day of enjoying everything this RV park has to offer, one wants to relax and chill by streaming a program or movie, but this internet makes it impossible.

A couple times a year we take an RV and find somewhere to park it for the weekend…read more.. This time we chose Lighthouse by the Bay RV Park. It was very well kept with lots of grass. Each site had a fire pit and a picnic table. The facilities were clean, which is always a plus!

This place is not recommended at all. From not being allowed to have a picnic table (only overnight…read moreguests), to being too noisy playing with the dogs. Not allowed in the showers, as their 90yr old park spy didn't like "The looks" of my wife and son. We filled a small dog pool for the pooches on the hot days and no sooner had we started filling it (Less than 35 gallons) we were told no pools. They said this was posted at the office. Keep in mind this is the office that is always locked and unattended and everything from checkout to check in is done by messages and email. We, and I assume others as well, are followed and spied on. If you stay, keep your head on a swivel and your eyes open as you are watched. The owners and management are rude and snotty. We were scheduled to stay for many months but after less than three weeks we are packing up and leaving. Gate is always open so security is also a risk here. Most other tenants are great. The others have nothing but time to fill and axes to grind. Typical off site owners who run this by keyboard and shitty management. We just finished our latest tour of the states and stayed at a little over 100 koa and private campgrounds this go around and loved all of them!! Except this one. DO NOT STAY HERE! There are tons of vacancies at way nicer parks for same $$$ or cheaper. We give this park a big fat double thumbs down with a raspberry on top.

The staff is very friendly in helping you connect if you are not sure. They are also great in dealing with a neighbor who is not dog-pug friendly. Great walking around the park especially near the fish pond. The Rows A & B are great as they are grass spots, not all concrete. The park is truly well designed. Showers had great hot water when it was 40 deg outside. Such a relaxing time was spent here. NOTE: A lot of Canadian RVers come here every weekend, so this is something to consider ... make a reservation! BAD - their signage. Hard to see until you are upon it & this is a problem. The cost for the washer dryer is higher than another park and they need more updated machines.

Long termers beware.....ratty, ghetto conditions at this RV campground including a tyrannical manager and her cohorts. If you want to stay or live in an RV community with no improvements, being yelled and cursed at for asking a simple honest question, and experience a perfect setting for a Stephen King novel this is the place for you. If these conditions I describe after having lived there for several consecutive months are not your ideal then you need to keep looking and interviewing other RV communities.
