This place sets a whole new standard for bed and breakfasts. Exterior of the home and the grounds…read moreare absolutely charming! And the fact that they have threealpacas, two goats, sheep and several other animals that will greet you when you approach their grounds, this was enough to make my friend long to stay longer than our only night there. The bed has the softest sheets I've ever slept in in all my life! If you can stay in the room with the jet tub you'll feel you are in a five-star resort especially if you make a cup of coffee and sit outside on the balcony of that bedroom. Each room has a high tech digital locking system so you'll feel safe. Breakfast was beyond delicious with an egg dish made with eggs from their own chickens and Teresa is a whiz with her recipes and the food was beyond delicious! Sitting and having breakfast conversation with Michael and Teresa was absolutely charming, entertaining, and informative as we learned a lot about the history of this town and the surrounding area's. They have learned a lot about the town and it's history and they are happy to share their knowledge to make your stay more pleasant and are more than willing to share their local knowledge with their guests. I expect to plan another visit to this adorable and luxurious (feeling) bed and breakfast. I am a bit of a self-confessed hotel snob and I would recommend this place in a hot minute to anybody who wants quality and comfort at an affordable price!

Nice house, idyllic setting, good breakfast, pleasant hosts. Thank you Mike & Theresa!read more

After we strolled back to the hotel looking forward to a cookie and nope disappointed my husband and I had to get our toddler to bed and the receptionist at the front said "sorry there will be more tomorrow around 2 pm" haha ok we're are Checking out at 10 but alright. The simple gesture as a cookie is just that simple but a little gesture goes a long way in hospitality. He could've offered something else or gone the extra to make more, I'm sure guests checking in late would appreciate it too and a warm cup of coffee as a welcome.

What a lovely place to stay! My mom and I would always see this spot from restaurants or boats and…read moretalk about how lovey it is, so we finally decided to stay here and had a great time. The hotel is definitely old. They use big brass keys instead of key cards, but some of the old features add to the charm. We had a corner room with a great balcony and a view. The room was spacious and lovely! Comfy bed, amazing view. Free breakfast was pretty standard- we did love that they had gluten free bread and fresh berries and they were could enjoy them from our room. The staff was friendly and helpful! They offer wine service at the counter, but not from 6-9pm. We thought this was kind of funny, but maybe they're encouraging you to go to the wine shop down the street during that time. The hotel has a lovely outdoor area right on the water that we enjoyed. This was a great place to stay, but very pricey. Two nights cost almost $700 but had the same comfort and amenities as a hotel that would cost about half that.
