Based on these experiences, I can confidently say that many lawyers are primarily focused on money, money, and more money--not the client's best interest. Don't let "great reviews" fool you. From my personal experience, they aren't always an accurate reflection of reality. When I first began working with these attorneys, they initially came across as professional and kind. However, it quickly became clear that their main goal was securing payment as soon as possible. In 99% of the cases, free advice was off the table unless I first signed a contract or agreement--before they even explained anything about my situation. This lawyer offered me just 10 minutes of his time, but only if I signed a form agreeing that, should I miss my appointment for any reason, I would still be billed. Another took $10,000 upfront, only to charge me $7,000-$9,000 monthly, and made my case far worse than it was before he got involved and made my wife and I broke. Here's the thing: Why should anyone be forced to sign binding contracts without even knowing if the lawyer can truly help? It's a valid question and something I strongly encourage anyone to consider before entering into any agreements with legal representation. Take your time, be cautious, and think carefully before engaging with these professionals. You deserve honesty, integrity, and a genuine willingness to help--don't settle for less. Here is my reply to you Josh: Josh, First and foremost, I find it difficult to believe that anyone could experience a 75% no-show rate--that number seems extraordinarily high and honestly doesn't seem reasonable. In my own experience running a very successful business, I dealt with no-show cancellations but never encountered numbers even close to that. You mentioned, "I don't like people wasting my time." While I understand the value of time, is 10 minutes truly that much of a commitment? Are we talking about the President or a government official here? Taking 10 minutes to listen to someone in need shouldn't feel like a burden--especially when a person is already under stress and seeking legal assistance. Additionally, the financial agreement you require clients to sign before even speaking to you is concerning. Asking someone to sign financial paperwork before an initial consultation feels unfair and unreasonably stressful--especially during a time when they are likely already overwhelmed. Would you personally want to be required to sign a financial agreement for a simple 10 minutes conversation? I highly doubt it. While I respect your right to respond to reviews, it's important to remember that we live in a free country, and everyone is entitled to their honest opinions. My review is not based on fiction or falsehoods--it reflects my genuine experience with you and your practices. I would ask that you consider treating your clients with the same respect you would expect from them. Threatening or attempting to suppress a review simply because someone is sharing their perspective is not professional or appropriate. I am left wondering how you have such a high rating when responses like this are part of how you interact with clients. Something doesn't add up here, and it gives me pause.
