History
Established in 1992.
I began practicing law with local firms including those owned by Jim Rigos and the current King County Executive, Dow Constantine. I then worked for the firm Cromwell, Mendoza & Belur, P.S. from 1994 through 1996 before opening my own firm in late 1996. Although I have generally maintained my practice as a sole practitioner, I have had attorney's, paralegals, law students, and additional support staff work for me. I have worked in and around downtown Seattle for about 25 years (downtown Seattle for 20+ years) but when downtown became less-desirable, I moved my practice to West Seattle. However, I handle matters all around the Seattle area, remotely when necessary. As a sidelight, while running my law practice, I was involved in several venture capital/start-up deals from 1999 through 2008 including Screenlife, LLC which produced and sold millions of the SceneIt? games through Mattel, including Harry Potter, James Bond, The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Friends, and at least ten more titles,

Representative clients:
I represent both individual and corporate buyers and sellers in residential and commercial transactions. I also handle leases, contracts, landlord-tenant law, homeowners associations, and neighbor/boundary disputes. I am and have been general counsel for several small businesses and homeowner's associations. Such representations include being general counsel to the U.S. subsidiary of Royal Greenland, a very large Dutch fish company, the founder of both Horizon Airlines and Thousand Trails, a wireless cell company, and numerous other businesses.
Personal experience:
Owning, purchasing, selling, and renting real estate provides me with a depth of experience on which to draw upon. I have also served as the president of a large condominium/ homeowner's association and was a Realtor.
