Excellent service transferring multiple audio cassettes from the 1990's and a CD into digital files. I dropped off in Bellevue in person but received originals and jump drives safely in return mail. read more

Although I haven't seen the digitized videos yet, on Friday, June 12 (two days ago now), I dropped off 62 tapes (mix of VHS, MiniDV and Super 8), some of which are 35+ years old. I happen to live close enough to Lotus Media that it's a short drive to their drop off point. Today (Sunday), I received an email stating that the video tapes have already been processed. Lotus' turnaround on this has been amazing! I provided them with a USB drive to store the digitized videos, and it is being delivered to my home tomorrow (i.e., Monday). Wow - thus far Lotus has been awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product but have been extremely impressed with their service. I will update the review after I have time to review the digitized videos. read more

Great service I highly recommend. They cover every type of old analog media which is rare to find

While I was surprised that the "storefront" was a drop off at UPS to a PO Box, the work to digitize 4 old VCR tapes was quick, efficient, and excellent communication along the way. We received the completed work by mail in less than a week and at a reasonable price. Well done! read more

Lotus Media offers a full range of services, and the quality of service is excellent. Their pricing is reasonable, and they have helped our family preserve and enjoy footage from our 8mm films. While all of the films are silent and are only in black and white, the color films have retained their color remarkably well. We will return with more footage. read more

Lotus Media did a fantastic job in transferring old 8mm home movies to video. They were fast, cost effective, and the audio and video were spot-on. I will use them again for photos and more. Don't hesitate to use them. read more

Super simple steps to get this done. Fast, efficient and the outcome was great. Also when I asked questions on line the response time was quick and accurate. I would use again read more

First rate experience from start to finish. I am so thrilled to have my old camcorder tapes of the kids growing up put to digital.

VHS tape to digital. Great service, but disappointed with payment procedure. Made immediate payment thru Venmo (shown as charged) then advised not rec'd. So, made 2nd payment thru Visa - thus we were charged twice for the service. Can you check this? Thanks read more

I asked via email if Lotus Media could process three different media I had on hand. They were very prompt in replying that they could do the slides, but not the 35mm film. They completed processing and returned the final produce very quickly. read more

After trying 3 other digitizing dervices which claimed they could convert an 40 years old BetaMax PAL tape of our wedding, I found Lotus Media and after confirming they could handle the PAL (European) formatted BetaMax tape, I sent it in and within a week had it digitized by them. Previously I had shipped same tape to iMemories who claimed tape was corrupted and damaged beyond repair, when contacted they realized it was PAL format, which had been indicated on their own card submitted with the tape, and they then said they could not handle PAL formatted tapes. Lotus Media did a an excellent job at a very reasonable price and completed the service requested ahead of expectations, they really did a great job for me. read more

This is the second time I have used Lotus Media and I am very happy with the result from the two projects that i had done. They Digitised my slides some being 35 mm and the others 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 and did and excellent job. The commuication was great and i would recommend them. read more

Fast response and excellent service. I have always had a good experience and am happy with the beautiful work they do.

Lotus Media provided our family with digital DVD movie discs from our 30-year old Sony tapes that are superb quality for documenting the life an happiness of the dear departed. furthermore, their online digital download service can and is being listed in our family Trust legal records for future access. LotusMedia has been most helpful over these past 9 years. Best of all, they answer the phone with thoughtful "human beings" and provide a personal level of service ; of course, in addition to prompt E-mail responses!! As far as I am concerned, they are scammers. I ordered 8 mm tape from Walmart . Walmart contracted with Lotus Media to ship to my address in Ohio. Instead they shipped an item to Pennsylvania, and E-mailed me that the product was delivered. Walmart said that Lotus Media would be contacting me within 48 hours , been 4 days no contact. read more

I wish I had done more research before hand. I called the number and left a message for her to please call me before she started the project. She never called back. She only replied to emails I later found out through the experience. I sent her 24 3 inch super 8mm film my dad gave me to put on DVDs and a flash drive. When I received them in the mail with my 8mm back there was DVDs but no flash drive. I emailed her and she apologized and sent me a flash drive a week or so later. The messed up thing was there was no sound! And at no time throughout the process did she mention that there would be no sound. So I feel like she didn't mention it on purpose. Although you can find it mentioned on her website after searching for it.. which is why I wish I would've done better research before hand. So after some research I found on Amazon that I could have purchased a device that does the same thing (also no sound) For about the same price she charged me So my advice, whether you have 8mm or vhs you want to convert to a digital platform buy one of the devices off Amazon and do it yourself, I bought the device for VHS conversions because I have some of those too and it worked great and has sound too (VHS ONLY) For some reason the 8mm conversion machines will not capture sound and people recommend that if you still have a projector for them to play them on a small white surface and record them with a camcorder on a tripod. That way you get the sound and they say it works pretty well! read more

What a nice service available in the Seattle metro that does this. There are other non local options but its nice to know if you needed support, they are local. With that said, the process at Lotus is seamless. Very clear and hassle free. Not only did I end up with media that is over 20 years old now digitized and ready to share but the different options are very intuitive. So you can try to get a VCR and do this yourself but if you don't have a large amount of free time, Lotus will take this task off your hands and convert your old memories without a hitch. read more

Lotus Media is an amazing company offering such a great service. They are always so professional and considerate. And their service and delivery are exemplary. They always provide high quality work, and I have never been disappointed with their work. In fact, quite the opposite: I've always been super pleased with their digitization work. It's been flawless working with them, and their output has been flawless, as well. They make it so easy and so efficient to conduct business with them, and it saves me so much time and hassle, knowing that their work product will be stellar. Things are stressful enough these days, but one thing that you can rely on for certain is the great work that they will do for you. So I highly, highly, highly recommend them. read more

I used Lotus Media to scan and digitize literally hundreds of old photos and also a lot of mini-VHS videotapes from when our family was young. They got the job done quickly and ... well... perfectly! It's expensive to turn a huge box of old photo albums and video home movies into digital format, but their pricing is clearly explained on their web site and worth every cent. I MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOTUS MEDIA! read more

I can't give enough praise and recognition to the owner of Lotus Media. Don't sleep on your old tapes! I highly recommend her services. Her prices were less expensive than going through Costco/CVS/Kodiak/etc and I felt more comfortable knowing our home movies would be digitized locally and not sent off somewhere else. Plus she gives you options for choosing how you'd like to receive your media, whether to download the movies off google cloud, have them copied to a USB, or have them burned on DVD. She was quick and prompt with communication as well. I sent a handful of emails with questions I had and she got back to me within 12 hours every time. My family had 48 VHS tapes and she was able to digitize them all and put them onto the USB I provided in a single week! All the movies turned out perfect! We did have 1 bad tape in the bunch but the glitchy video and audio was an issue with the source material of the VHS and does not reflect her high quality process of digitizing tapes. Every other tape turned out perfect being viewed as an mp4 and it gives my family, especially my mom, so much more peace of mind knowing we saved these memories from our childhood and they won't be degraded or possibly lost now. This was exactly the kind of service you want to have when it comes to saving your memories. Her prices are affordable, she offers a variety of options for saving your digitized movies, but most important, she cares about you and knows how important your memories are. 10/10 I highly recommend! ps. I read an older review on here that said she puts a sticker one your USB. Yes that's true but it's a small sticker with her logo and it peels off very easily. I had no problem with it. read more

I had 17 ancient VHS tapes, and knew some had important family memories and others were junky recordings of 90s TV shows. Two important things: 1. I tried 2 VCRs and neither would play my old tapes. 2. I tried a Costco-referred service a few years ago, and because there were TV shows on some of the tapes they wouldn't touch them. Lotus overcame these issues and did everything right here, quickly, in an organized fashion. I'm impressed and will use again if I discover more tapes. Lastly, if you're sitting on old tapes, don't wait to have them converted, as they degrade over time. read more

I really liked how seamless the process was. I emailed them, they emailed us for the form and told us to go to the UPS in Factoria. At the UPS store I filled out the form and mailed it in, and before the promised time, I received a notice requesting to send the invoice, paid it online and immediately got the digital copy of the cassette. The cassette was mailed back less than a week later. If you're trying to get digital copies of cassettes or any other service similar, this is the place! read more

This place is awesome!!! I was in the middle of a move when I unearthed my family's long lost home movie VHS tapes. I found Lotus from a Google search and was impressed by the reviews. I contacted them and within 2 days they came and picked them up from my house and got right to work on them. I had them back within another 2 days and had my old VHS tapes returned to my doorstep. Competitive pricing and amazing service!! Oh, another thing...I recently used Legacybox for some other work and I waited nearly 4 months to get my info even looked at. 6 months total and over $1k. Don't do it. Go with Lotus!! read more

Lotus Media - Guess what those are. VHS tapes !! - Digitizing Services Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I have an old VHS video that is over 27 years old that stores great memories. I had a friend try to salvage the video but it didn't play well on the equipment he had. A friend of mine located Lotus Media online. I recently dropped it off late on a Monday inside the UPS store. I had trouble locating it as I didn't realize it was inside the UPS store until after I read a review that referenced it. A UPS employee gave me a form to complete which is pretty straight forward and I provided my video. I was told it would be picked up and someone would contact me but I wasn't provided a time frame. I was a little apprehensive about leaving the video but I hoped for the best. I was absolutely shocked to receive an email at 7am that my video was ready. There is a link for payment online; I was also provided an option of Venmo, Zelle or check. I paid the invoice and the price was more than reasonable for what I requested; in addition, the quick turn around. The communication was exceptional and I had no questions since their email communication covers everything I would typically inquire about. I was informed my project turned out great and I would receive it within 24-48hours and I was provided the USPS tracking information immediately after they received my confirmation of payment. I have a a friend who has a number of childhood memories on 8mm that now wants to have them converted after hearing about this experience. I will no doubt return to Lotus Media. I still can't believe it was completed in less than 24 hours and I didn't request a rush. Thank you for providing such amazing service!!! read more

The digitization of old 8mm tapes has been on my to do list for many years. I've even gone as far as purchasing an old camera to digitize them myself. I gave up soon after I figured out that I needed even more equipment and time. Flash forward many years later and I again investigated digitizing the tapes. I found many companies that digitized into a CD, but this was not I was looking for. I wanted to be able to have the digital file and I did not want to waste time ripping the videos from the CD onto my laptop. Googling companies that provided a digital file led me to find Lotus Media. I originally sent them 10 8mm tapes and I was impressed with the quick turnaround time. I was able to share the google drive link provided with family to download videos they wished. I later sent them another video I found and again had a lightning fast turn-around time. I would recommend Lotus Media to anyone who's been putting off digitizing projects. They are fast with processing and to respond to any of my questions. Thank you for digitizing my childhood! read more

I was getting quotes to get a few hundred slides from the 1950's transferred to digital. The slides were from my Great Uncle's estate - I had previewed them briefly on a single slide viewer and didn't want to get my hopes up since basically all I could make out on them were blurred skeleton like images. After gathering the quotes, checking production times, etc. - I decided to go with Lotus Media. Their quote was slightly higher then Costco, but they do all their production locally in Bellevue - which greatly reduced the chances of my slides getting mixed up with another order or lost. After filling out their order form, I sent off my slides to them via UPS. Less then a week later I received a email that my images were ready. I had all the slides transferred onto a flash drive and was absolutely amazed at the finished product quality. I cannot begin to express how much this meant to my family - absolutely flawless quality and I really felt like my order was handled with the most extreme care from beginning to end. I will continue to go back and refer them to everyone I know! read more

Unfortunately my Secam VHS cassettes that were taped in Tahiti during the 90's came back in black and white. I wish they would have informed me of this before going ahead and completing the project - as I would have cancelled. Who wants to look at Tahiti in black and white? :-( I informed them of this but they replied they could do nothing about it. Perhaps not, but they should have let me know before they went ahead and digitized the whole film. Disappointed. read more

Amazing service and fast delivery! I had a VHS from 20 years ago that Lotus Media converted to a digital file in less than 24 hours. If I could give a higher rating I would! Ngina digitized my daughters 15 childhood 8MM tapes in a DAY! BUT, there is more..Being the genius that I am, I shipped all of my tapes and FORGOT TO PUT THE ORDER FORM IN THE BOX!!!After my panic and desperation, Ngina assured me that she would look out for my shipment and make sure that the tapes were processed properly. She did not lie! Now I have ALL of my memories in multiple forms of digital media that i can view. Thank you thank you thank you. read more

I read their reviews and chose them because of that. They were so fast. I had questions about pricing and shipping and when you call you get the actual people in Washington state. Not a computer and not a telephone bank. They were super fast and put my videos right up on a google drive. I then saved them to my google drive. Easy. I had VHS, Hi8 and old 8mm film from 1954 of my dad in the army. Had never even seen these old films before. I got all the films back but let them dispose of the tapes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Lotus Media - Lotus Media transferred this old VHS (not Hi res) to digital media and did not lose any quality. It was pretty old. - Digitizing Services Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

I highly recommend Lotus Media! The service was fantastic, the prices were good, and the options for conversion were great. The big selling point for me was that they would convert right to MP4 and could deliver via USB or google drive. Most conversion places I looked up went to DVD, which if you ask me is converting from an already dead medium (VHS/tapes) to one that is already dying anyways (DVD). Putting it in MP4 format was big for me, and if I want a DVD I can burn that from the MP4 (or they do offer DVD service if that's what you want). In terms of the process they did 35 tapes for me in around 1 week and the people were all so nice. Just all around great read more

I had a giant family photo digitalization project (almost 2500 photos) that I was procrastinating on due to the sheer number of photos and lack of confidence in my photo scanning skills. Ngina & Lotus Media made the process simple, quick and I am extremely impressed with the results. Great communication and stellar work, I would recommend for anyone seeking a media digitization project. All of my photos are now on my Google Drive that I can easily share with my whole family. read more

These guys are fast and well-priced. I was happy to know that a service like this exists. One gripe was that one of the five tapes included in my set to be transferred was accidentally replaced with a 'cleaning' mini-dv, which is effectively a 60-second cleaning cassette for camcorders. I understand that the mistake was my own, but inspection of invoice showed a $5 charge for that cleaning tape. Again, I understand there is a business to be run, but an additional communication explaining that one of the tapes was a 'cleaner' would have prompted me to send in the actual tape that needed to be transcoded; a $15 service in itself. It was an honest mistake, but one call/e-mail would have resulted in an additional sale. Additionally, I provided my own USB thumb drive for the files to be transferred to. Upon receipt of the thumb drive, I had noticed they had placed a sticker advertising the business on it. I would have appreciated being asked to advertise on my own property. Other than those isolated experiences, I think that you will get the most bang-for-your-buck with this service. The video quality turned out fine and the turnaround time was great. read more

I was very happy to find a service close by that was able to convert my 8 mm reel film from the 1960's to an editable .mp4 digital file for an upcoming Celebration of Life! I found that Lotus Media service was reasonably priced and they were able to answer all my questions over the phone. They are very busy so actually being able to talk to someone on the phone was a plus! I also had the option of dropping the reels off at a designated Bellevue UPS store rather than mailing them in. I only had so many days to get this project done so that was a time saver on the front end! I paid a few extra $ for a rush job and was able to quick ship back to me all less than a week! The reels were very old so I was not expecting much but it was great that they were able to provide these memories for us! Very happy with the service, price, and wonderful job! Thank you! read more

I was so relieved. My family and I enjoy all of those precious memories together and it is so special. I feel so much peace now knowing all of those memories are saved forever.
