I had a small job - 2 Prints for a frame with some mild photoshop work. I was a bit worried that they would turn me down or it would be so expensive that I would walk away. The work they not only went above and beyond my expectations; their customer services made me feel like I was amongst friends. I don't feel you'll be disappointed with your choice here. read more

The team over at The Color Group is one of the best in the Pacific Northwest. Their quality, selection and service is the best. I've been using them to print my gallery imagine years and I've have nothing but good things to say about them. read more

As a digital/fine artist, I have found the Color Group to be indispensable. I am happy to have a spot that I can take my work and trust that the print quality will be top notch. They offer many options. I've come here for prints, framing, and I plan to bring in some larger paintings to have them photographed. Everything they've printed has sold quickly at events and art shows. Their prices reflect the quality of their work. The staff is wonderful. Highly recommend. read more

Diane was super helpful guiding me through the whole process. Definitely made me feel very comfortable entrusting them with my 40x40 print. I was incredibly happy with the result. Will definitely be going there for my next large print! read more

I've had jobs done a few times by these folks over the years. I've never been disappointed. They do amazing work.

The best professional quality service at this location. The team is amazing! My original art is photographed by top pros and they can make giclee prints that are so spot on they almost look like the originals! They are that good! read more

Through my usual combination of indigence mixed with perfectionism, I found myself with a tight deadline for a limited edition giclée print for an upcoming event. I dashed off an e-mail to The Color Group on Saturday, thinking I might hear from them on Monday. Two hours later I was looking at an estimate. I sent the job in on Monday, on Tuesday I looked at hard copy proofs with two different paper options, on Thursday the prints were done and on Friday I picked up the absolutely stunning final product. The color was just what I was looking for, the matte varnish provided a great vintage feel and the detail leapt off the page. Flawless. BTW as a former Art Director, I really appreciate hard proofs--I don't think soft proofs tell you much about the final printing. And you always know when you're working with someone who cares about the work as much as you do. Before I worked with them, I read the Yelp reviews and thought that some of the praise seemed a little excessive. It isn't. I can happily add my own cheers to the chorus. read more

The Color Group - Not an easy image to print, with the color and tonal variation and an extremely high level of detail. The ColorGroup? Nailed it. - Graphic Design Near Me - Seattle, Washington

There's a reason they're 5-stars solid. Just a top-notch company. I've used them several times and been very happy with them, but was compelled to write the review after this last time. I had a design for some new cards and asked if they could squeeze me in for a last minute event. No problem - they proofed the print, and was ready to go. All of a sudden, I had a new design that I wanted to use - was it possible to switch out the old design for the new one, even as they were ready to print? No problem. They got them done with time to spare, and for an unbelievably reasonable price I might add. I will probably never go to another place - just always call Lindsey.. read more

Can I even express how much I adore these folks? SO MUCH! As a brand new artist here in Seattle, facing down the barrel of my very first gallery show consisting of a dozen or so 3' x 4' canvases, I needed all the assistance I could get. The small family of people at The Color Group were not only incredibly personable, but they were remarkably willing to work with my last-minute printing requests and budget constraints, and I can honestly say I never would've gotten the show mounted without their help. Plus, their quality of reproduction is flawless and beautiful - who could ask for more? If you've been shopping around for a local company to do your printing work, I cannot recommend them highly enough. They've earned a lifelong customer in me, for sure :) read more

I just went to pick up my poster print at The Color Group, and let me just say something. It was perfect. I see you're not understanding me. Perfect. Absolutely 0 flaws. 918 square inches, an infinite number of opportunities to mess up with scratches, dings, air bubbles, uneven cuts, rough edges, roughed surface, compression, impressions, fingerprints etc., but they did not do any of that even once. If you're serious about what you're printing, don't accept a substitute. These guys are serious professionals and know exactly what they're doing. read more

I am a local artist and for my very first art show last July, I walked into The Color Group and was greeted by Lindsey who walked me through color paper options, canvas options, etc. I knew that they would never lead me astray. Well, nearly a year and 12 art shows later, they are my printer of choice for giclee' prints. Whether it's my usual 5x7 illustrations or 24x30 inch work for out of state shows, they are the best! Kevin is a dream to work with and makes sure your digital output is perfect before going to print. They really know their stuff here and they are personable. I go to them for all of my giclee' art needs and will refer many more to them. read more

On a Tuesday morning last week I was tasked with a time sensitive large canvas printing project. I needed it Thursday morning 9 AM at the VERY LATEST. After contacting several local printers I was told It couldn't be done. I was beginning to panic when I cold emailed The Color Group. Lindsey responded within 20 minutes. checked with her press and the next afternoon I had them in my hands. They even took the time to mirror the bottom - a touch I hadn't even thought of! The shop was easy to get to, had a parking lot (a plus in my book), takes credit cards and I am told even does delivery! Another big plus was being greeted by the office dog named Lucy. Such a sweetie! read more

I needed a small run of 16"x20" archival ink jet prints done within a few days. The Color Group gave me the most competitive price for this area, and my final prints were well worth what they cost. The prints I made were of line art, and they made a test print before running them for me to check sharpness. The final prints look great: sharp, clean, and with great print resolution. They were packed up for me with extreme care, which I appreciate. Kevin, Eric, Nancy and Lindsey were all efficient and incredibly helpful. Thanks Color Group! read more

The Color Group is amazing. I initially contacted them to do my wedding save the dates - vintage postcard on one side, text on the other. I contacted four companies, and The Color Group got back to me fast with a totally reasonable estimate (unlike another highly recommended printer on here which shall remain nameless). Then they did a totally spectacular job, and SUPER FAST! Since they were so awesome, I asked if they could then do the SECOND part of my save the dates, which involved a photo. They were nervous to do the photo because - and this is the truth - they were afraid it would cost me too much! Instead of using photo paper, however, they printed it on glossy cardstock and it looks amazing! I'd recommend these guys to anyone. Super small company that actually cares AND does a good job - three cheers for The Color Group! read more

Top notch in every way. I've been coming here for prints of my art pieces, and they've been great. The prints are fabulous, every time. They're extremely friendly and if one doesn't know what option to pick (I didn't at first) they help guide you to the best option. They're extremely professional, have great production, and are as friendly as they come. read more

Super quick turn around and great quality. They let you stop by to proof a print before you pay for multiple, which is super. I needed a reprint in time for a poster show and Lindsay still had the file and took care of it just in time. Thank you guys so much! read more

I've been working with this foundry for a few years and they do such amazing work. As an artist, I want my Giclèes to match as closely to my originals as possible. They understand this and have consistently gone above and beyond. I've come in with two different scenarios; 1) One with an existing digital file that a professional photographer took of my (rather large scale) work. 2) I've also come in with smaller pieces that they have drum scanned in-house. In both cases, they have kept the original for a few days while they tested the color accuracy of the digital files. I'm always so pleased when I see the end result. It's very hard to tell the difference unless one knows what to look for! They have a variety of materials to choose from. Canvases are great for oil and acrylic paintings, but I tend to work in chalk pastel a lot. They have many different high quality, gallery grade papers to print on, some of which match quite closely in tooth to the Cansons I typically use for my originals. Don't think that all they do are art prints. (Though they do a stellar job at that!) I've walked into their space while they've been working on large acrylic backed banners, signage, and business cards. Some very cool projects.. These guys have the chops. And they're so close to the stadiums downtown, that it makes them pretty easy to find. Give them a shot! read more

The Color Group has outstanding service! I've printed a few jobs with them now, and each time they surprise me with the extra mile that they go. For one of the jobs I didn't know how to fix something in Adobe Illustrator, so they asked me to come in. When I came in to the office, they showed me a few tricks on how to fix the it, and then updated the file for me on the spot with no charge. They always take the time to make sure the output is exactly the way you want. They work through email so it's easy to go back and forth on updating files. Their staff is always friendly and pleasant. Print jobs seem to turnover very quickly - they always meet the date they say they will. I would highly recommend The Color Group to anyone who is looking for a professional print service. After experiencing their service and product, I'm a bit sad that I don't have more projects to get professionally printed! read more

I strongly encourage any and everyone to go to The Color Group for their printing needs. They went absolutely above and beyond for my nonprofit's community event, going so far as to donate their services and log untold extra hours creating usable graphics for our banner and recreating it in a format that would look good on a large scale. For a clean, bright and totally professional-looking product, the turnaround was exactly one day. Unparalleled kindness, customer service and community-mindedness. Thank you, The Color Group! read more

I needed a high resolution drum scan of the illustration I created for the next wine label for Mason Cellars Vineyards. It will be printed on hundreds of thousands of labels and distributed across the United States, so the quality had to be exceptional. These guys were not only extremely professional, but they were fast and cost effective too. I got the scan within 24 hours and had the opportunity for on site color corrections. I'm definitely working with them again in the future and highly recommend them! read more

The Color Group is fantastic, you can't do better in Seattle. When I first arrived in Seattle I checked out many places but The Color Group offered the best prices for the offset printing I wanted. And they have continually delivered such a beautiful products (both offset and giclée printing) that my customers are always surprised to hear that they aren't looking at my original watercolors. Nancy has been long suffering and patient beyond measure in offering estimates for various projects. And the staff is great, really willing to talk out a project and see what the best options are for printing, binding, and whatever else might be needed. When I started doing trade shows, for some reason it didn't at first occur to me to ask them about banners, I guess since I associated them with my paper and art products. I got some estimates and samples from supposedly affordable and fast services and was absolutely horrified by the dreadful quality and the exorbitant prices. I think I decided to ask The Color Group if they knew of anyone who printed cloth banners. And it turns out: they did! So I got a gorgeous canvas banner more beautifully printed than any sample from the supposedly fast-cheap places and for almost half the cost. You just can't loose with The Color Group. read more

I cannot recommend The Color Group enough! Their attention to detail, customer service, quality, and value is unparalleled. I had a very delicate print that was reliant on 365 shades of grey. All other printers we tried could not print true colors, and The Color Group absolutely nailed it. I will only use them for my prints from now on, online retailers can't even compete with their quality and value. read more

I worked with The Color Group recently on my first large order of books. Even though it was a small order for them, I'm sure, they never made it feel that way - they were great with my many questions, patient with technical issues, and really quick to boot. Furthermore, their quote was a good 20 percent less than the other three I got from other local printing companies. Highly recommended - I worked with several people there, and they were all unfailingly helpful, polite, and friendly. read more

Fantastic customer service, knowledgeable staff, and all around great prints. I am very picky about print quality, and they nailed it for over 20 images! They made adjustments from the proofs with me there, and I could see how competent the staff was. They also have very competitive pricing and turnaround on high-end digital prints. I can't recommend them enough! read more

The Color Group is seriously as good as it gets. I've had both personal work printed through them as well as prints made for the company I work for and the turn around time on projects is faster than any place I've had prints done before. The first project I had involved scanning a very large piece of artwork and making prints from it and the prints came out looking almost better than the original painting. Nancy and Lindsey are so easy to work with and will show you all of your options and help you find one that works with your budget. They have even turned around print jobs for me on the same day I called in to have more prints made. You can really tell customer service is a top priority for them and because of it I'll never take any print jobs anywhere else! read more

I really like these guys. I needed a giclee print made of a digital painting for a gallery show a month down the road. They took me through my surface options, surface finish and even showed me different looks on a stretched canvas. The color proof looked great and the finished print on stretched canvas looks amazing. It looks so polished and modern it doesn't need a frame. I'm very happy with how it turned out and will be using these guys for future work. If you are a serious photographer or digital artist who needs gallery quality large format prints, look no further. read more

Very happy with my interaction with The Color Group. I submitted a quote online for some prints I wanted to have made, and received an email back within the hour with the price (in contrast, another place I submitted a quote for just replied "check our website" - which wasn't useful since I needed an odd size), and a suggestion of what paper I should use (since I said I wasn't sure). I then submitted an order with instructions. Proofs were ready the next day; I went and took a look at them and was pleased. They then said 1-2 days for the final order, but it was ready the next morning. read more

Nancy has been so very patient with me and has been so willing to get me quotes on all the jobs that I need for my company. She's quick and reliable and gets the job done better than perfect and makes sure that the customer is always coming back for more. The staff are so friendly and kind, it's definitely a nice atmosphere when you walk into the office to pick up your prints. I needed 3000 postcard size prints for a mailer I was doing. I first went to Office Depot and they wanted $650 for the job, then they messed up the print over and over until I got frustrated and left. I then went to ABC printing and they wanted $1300 for the job. What a crock. Then I found the Color Group. They were able to do the job for $295, and they print your postage and your addresses right there on the card with it! They are so professional and nice. Do not go to a print store that prints your stuff on a laser printer. Go to the color group and they can do a whole run for you at a fraction of the cost. I will be working with these guys for a long time in the future. read more

These guys are amazing. It's always a pleasure working with people who love what they do and are willing to go the extra mile to make a customer happy. We had a photo printed on canvas and needed it mounted to a large board that I provided. I also needed to have it slightly wrapped around the edge of the board. Rather than telling me that's not how they work, they spent time scratching their heads on how to get the job done. The result was better than expected. Thanks guys. read more

I am absolutely thrilled and in love with The Color Group and will never go anywhere else for my printing needs. I wish I would have done my homework to find them a lot sooner (thanks, Yelp!). They are the BEST!!! From the minute I walked in, I knew I was in capable hands. I was so impressed with how friendly, knowledgable and accommodating they are...... and then when I saw the end results of all of their efforts, I was truly blown away. I've gotta say, The Color Group saved the day with my family's 50th anniversary gift for my parents. I had a horrible, horrible experience with Bellevue Fine Art and The Color Group helped me right away, had no hidden fees or minimum charges, worked with me one on one while I waited for my giclee prints and made me feel like a valued customer. Not only do they have exceptional customer service, their quality is remarkable in every way. I was blown away at comparing their work to Bellevue Fine Art's attempt. They improved the image quality (without guidance) and the results are clear as night and day. I didn't have a huge job, but I was treated with respect. I've been in the graphic design industry 15+ years as a professional designer, and working with TCG was exactly what I expected, and more. Don't waste your time or money anywhere else. I will recommend TCG to my friends and coworkers. OH, and their studio is great. Very clean and professional with a beautiful gallery of photography. Highly recommended. read more
