Bought a brother laser printer from the place, everyone here was helpful. My only problem I had with the place, was that after a month the machine broke. I had to take it up with the manufacturer as it was out of the store return policy. It made the process alot more difficult. read more

Absolutely the WORST customer service experience I have ever had. I bought a laptop and a printer - their local rep sold me the wrong ink cartridge and I could not print anything. I called but the person on the phone was completely unsympathetic and very short with me - said I would need to contact the printer manufacturer, which I did (took nearly an hour to reach a live body) but the upshot is Office Depot sold me the wrong cartridge. When I got the correct product info from the mfg rep I went back to Duffas Despot and was met by a confrontational sales rep who charged me for the correct cartridge. What a disgusting experience. I'll never shop there again, despite having an Office Depot Preferred Customer status. Eff that. They're less than useless. read more

Terrible service, went in to have something printed. They had multiple people waiting and complaining about over promising and under delivering with their prints. I returned two days later to pick up my order and was greeted by the store manager not welcoming me to the store but asking me "what do you need?". This was after arriving at the store before they actually opened because the store hours on Yelp & Google are incorrect. I grabbed my print and decided to look around the store. I found a few items to purchase and thought I should mention the incorrect store hours online. Andy the sales associate completely dismissed my observation and told me they don't control Google or Yelp so that's just too bad. Overall very cold unwelcoming experience. read more

I used to love this store. I often got print jobs done here and the entire staff was aways friendly and helpful. Apparently there have been "policy changes" that make this impossible now. When I walked in today, an employee (not print staff) was speaking very condescendingly to a woman who kept saying she wanted to speak with someone on the imaging/print staff. The employee kept telling she was wrong for this and interrogating her what she wanted from them. It was clear he was unable to answer her questions. Then he approached me. I said I had images to print. He said I shouldn't be here and should use their online system. It was so unwelcoming and rude. I explained that I'd like to at least get one print as a "proof", to check things before submitting a large order online. He said "we dont do that". I assured him I wasnt expecting it to be included, I'd pay for it. HE ROLLED HIS EYES AT ME. At this point I'm very uncomfortable with the interaction and say I'm confused what is happening, because I've brought projects here and have never encountered this kind of resistance. Then he interrogates me about my project. I have two images, each with two different size versions, I want multiple copies of each. In other words, four files, each with a different quantity number. "We can't help you with that". That was really astounding, because it's a pretty simple printing project, and I've done similar here many times before. Again I try to address that this interaction seems strange and I'm not sure where I've gone "wrong" in this person's eyes. He says "I'm just trying to answer your questions"...of course I hadn't asked him any questions! He was the one who approached me and began questioning me. My only question is what has changed from the times I've been here before? "Policy". Well, okay then! But I don't think it's appropriate to treat people as if they've done something wrong if they don't magically know about your policy change before they walk in the door. So, there's the new policy: no help from print staff, no walk-ins, no different quantity copies per file. Why bother? read more

I went in to get hundreds of page scanned. Their staff was nice and friendly. Alex was very accommodating. He helped me with my papers which saved me few hours at the store. He helped me organize my papers and paste the PDF to a flash drive. He totally went above and beyond to provide great customer service. They walked me through the instructions of their scanner. I can't imagine how long it will take if I scan them one by one at home. Thanks! Also, customers were constantly coming in and asking for help. I rarely shop here but I found a web Cam I was looking for online. Bought it and selected curbside pick up. When I got to the parking lot I followed the instructions for online curbside pickup and waited in the car for a while. Nobody was coming out so I went in and stood in front of the online pick up area. The manager or someone that looked like one, saw me standing there and instead of coming to help me he went on the opposite direction and asked someone passing by if they needed help. I had to call him to get his attention and asked if he could help me. He gave me lots of attitude and handed me the bag also without checking the order number and my ID. Definitely too much hassle when I could have bought this over Amazon and not have to deal with unhappy employees. read more

Specifically, every time I come in here for last-minute packing tape of printer ink, I am greeted by the main cashier, Billy. He is always kind, warm, and conversational. We went to brunch with gramma C and stopped in to fulfill our needs... More paper... college rule packages 4 for $5 (or $1.99ea), one subject notebook, printer paper and ink (color and black & white). Staff friendly and helpful, store clean. For you Beacon Hill Shoppers you wouldn't know this place is steps away from you.... at the bottom of the Holgate Bridge (BIG RAMP) that connects just south of 12th Ave Bridge down to SODO district faster than the speed of .... me! Love the spot... You can always get in and out... Time, just what we all need more of, and stopping in here will allow you to fulfill your needs and keep-a-steppin'!!! read more

I walked in knowing what I needed, I was just trying to find it and in that time, I was starred at and followed around by the employees and I mean these people will give you dirty looks for just existing in their store. Not once did they ask me if I needed any help. They just wanted to make sure I wasn't stealing. Mind you, I've never been to this location before so they shouldn't have a "reason" to follow me so closely. I ended up finding what I needed, I went to the printing section of the store and was getting ready to print some stuff out when I could literally feel someone staring at me. I look over and some fake a** security guard is staring at me real hard. I stopped what I was doing. Payed for the item that I really needed and left. This was over a year ago and I haven't been back to this location since then. I get that they have dunkies coming in and stealing but you can always tell customers and dunkies apart so their attitude towards everyone is ridiculous and uncalled for. If you really hate your job, leave. You aren't stuck there and you can literally find any job you want in 2023. Be so fr y'all look a mess. read more

Recently, my husband and I purchased our first home. We were desperately trying to print some documents our lender needed that night, but to our dismay, our printer ran out of ink. Frantic, we sped down to our local Office Depot, and requested to print them at the Print Center. We were met by a friendly gentlemen, Robert Gregory. Based on his business card, he is a Furniture Specialist, but based on his interaction with us that night, you'd never know. He was so quick behind the counter at the Print Center. He was efficient, friendly, relate-able, and made us feel like we were taken care of 100%. Since purchasing our home, this Office Depot is no longer close to us, and we likely won't be visiting any time soon. However, if you have any kind of office need, check this place out and ask for Robert. I'm sure he will treat you with the great level of customer service we received, which is hard to find! read more

This is one of those blink and you'll miss it locations off of Airport Way S. hidden by an I5 off ramp pass the SPD motor garages. It's a medium sized store and usually has what you need and is hardly ever full. The parking lot is big an accommodating if you manage not to pass it. I come here when all the other Office Depots sell out of an item. Though they have the same minimum stocking standards for sales items that all chain stores have adopted now, because of its obscured location you can find most sales items still on the shelves. I'd give the store more stars if it were bigger and easier to access. read more

These guys were great. Very accommodating. I had a laptop to return, and a nearby store in the midst of liquidation suggested I come to this one. When I called this location, they answered immediately and gave quick answers to all my questions. They assured me I could return my item as long as I did so by closing that day. When I arrived, they remembered my call, so I didn't even have to explain anything again. I was out of there in five minutes. Great Office Depot! read more

Day 0: Place online order for notary stamp item A with local Office Depot. Submit artwork through their site. Am given pickup day of Day 14. Day 0: Email notary commission to email address given. Day 6: Receive email from OD that stamp item A I ordered is too small for state requirements. Day 7: Respond to OD asking what size stamp needs to be. No answer. Day 7: Respond to OD with updated order for item B (which I deduce is correct size since OD is no help) and updated artwork generated through their website. No answer. Day 13: Email OD asking if there's anything else I need to do. No answer. Day 13: Email OD asking why nobody is answering me. No answer. Day 14: [The day I was supposed to be able to pick up my stamp] Call OD Customer Service to ask, quite nicely, if my order fell into the Abyss of Eternity or what. Day 14: (15 minutes later) Get email from OD saying they couldn't open the artwork attachment that was generated on their own website. Day 14: Convert artwork and send again. Request acknowledgment. No answer. Day 14: Receive email from OD saying they need the notary commission. Day 14: Email notary commission again. Request acknowledgment. No answer. Day 15: Email OD asking if they received notary commission this time. No answer. Day 15: Receive email from OD saying my stamp item A is too small and to please reach out if I want item B instead. Day 15: Reply saying OH. MY. GOD. CANCEL MY ORDER AND KILL IT WITH FIRE SO IT CAN NEVER RISE AGAIN. Day 15: Order stamp from small company clear across the country. Exactly 2 emails, no hassle. Receive in 6 days, no errors, no muss, no fuss, for less money. Never again, Office Depot. read more

Well the rating is between one to two stars. My issue with O.D. is when I came to the store to pick up my P.C. The sales clerk upon taking my laptop out of the metal locker & placing the same laptop on the counter asks my Mother & I an odd question. The question he asked was the following: "Where did you get this"? and by "this" the clerk had held in his hands a computer adapter that came with my laptop when Mom & I purchased it last year. I was very puzzled because I didn't have any idea what the man was talking about. Also I felt like he was accusing me of something as he seemed a bit lacking in the warmth department. I felt put on the spot. I looked at my Mother, I wasn't sure what sort of answer this guy wanted from me. FINALLY, the sales clerk (after a several minute insufferable silence) says "Because, this is the wrong adapter for your computer". He went on to say that the manufacturing company placed the WRONG adapter with my pc in the box which was why I was having problems when I charged my computer. I feel that he could have said all this in the first place instead of being a manipulator or playing games. His communication style? All wrong. Correct way: "Not to worry, guess what happened? You simply had the wrong adapter which the manufacturer packed into the box with your laptop as a mistake. Sorry for the inconvenience". read more

Normally I wouldn't write a review for an office supply store but I had such a good experience with the customer service there that I had to take the time to write this. As a small business owner I've tried a lot of office supply stores. Everything from paper clips to computer support (which I need a lot of!) Office Depot seems to offer the best prices and most importantly friendly, knowledgeable service. When your in business for yourself every penny counts and time is valuable. I don't know how I always end up at the Copy and Print center but this one is pretty good. The service is so so but they have everything. If you need to scan something get it on a usb and a personalized stamp on your lunchtime they can make it happen. I have never had a time where I couldn't find something that wouldn't work for what I needed. This store in the Sodo area is pretty neat. read more

The Copy/Print center at Office Depot is wonderful! I had a last-minute print job before a birthday party and had already been turned away (and extremely frustrated by) OfficeMax on 1st Avenue. I stopped in to Office Depot and Shelly working at the Copy/Print center came to my rescue. She took my print job under her wing, fixed the formatting issue that OfficeMax refused to fix for me, and enlisted her manager to make sure the fancy paper I brought in would run through their machines correctly. Everything turned out beautifully and they even cut my project to the size I needed for free. I was overjoyed I was so happy. They didn't charge me for the extra time they took to make sure my print job went smoothly, unlike OfficeMax, who wanted to charge me $1 per minute to fix the formatting issue. Thank you Office Depot for making my day and proving your customer service is the best in the area. read more

It's pretty sad that the staff doesn't communicate with each other or have a crew that works on the weekend who knows how to do work the print shop. I made an order Friday morning to get new invoices made because I realized I was running low. I called them 1st to make sure they were able to get the job done since I've used them in the past. The worker who took my order said it's not a problem. Should have it done by noon or worse case by the end of the day. Well noon came and was not ready. I was ok with that because he said would be ready by the end of the day. Well end of the day has come and now they are still not ready. The counter person said they will have it ready by noon Saturday. Well once again noon Saturday comes and they said they can't do it and now have to wait till Monday. Wtf! Now I just called because I don't want to waste my time driving there again, and speaking to there manager now they might not be able to get it to me till tomorrow. I sure wish these businesses would just be upfront and let me know that it might take a few days. If it was that case I would've just went somewhere else and got it done. To me it's not about savings, I just want my product in a timely manner because the cost doesn't mean anything to me if I have what I need on time. So now this is gonna put us in a huge jam. Now we have to just photo copy some invoices and make a few ourselves until these guys can figure out what they're doing. FRUSTRATED!!! read more

Never go here for tech services. They erased my external hard drive and the whole process was a huge pain.

Do not trust the shipping department and how they represent delivery dates via their computer. I paid premium dollars to have two packages delivered on Christmas Eve, only to find out that the Office Depot system grossly misstated the dates. I called the manager to complain, but was told it was out of his hands. Not the way to treat a customer. I will not trust any shipments there again. read more

You lost a good customer. A routine order for paper turned into one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. My order was placed online and paid for the beginning of February. The order never arrived. I made phone inquiries and even went into the local store to inquire as I was forced to purchase paper locally while waiting for our order. After nearly 3 weeks an email was received today saying the order was cancelled at my request and a refund was being processed. Further down in the email was a statement that we had refused delivery of the order. Wrong. No delivery was ever attempted. In response to my phone call, I was told that the "third party carrier" had damaged the shipment and returned it to Office Depot. If I wanted, they would assist me in re-ordering however I would have to pay for the order again while I waited to see if they would actually deliver this time and also while I waited to see if I actually receive a refund for the first order. I was able to speak with a supervisor who was of no service. We are not a large customer, but we are no longer a customer. Office Depot needs to learn the meaning of customer service. I feel sorry for their employees who have no authority to assist customers with legitimate problems as they have to listen to customers knowing there is nothing they can do to help. I'm sure there are other companies you can work for that care about their customers and their employees. Office Depot doesn't. read more
