Unfortunately, the extraordinarily bad service our business received from Copiers Northwest (which continues to this day) warrants a somewhat scathing review somewhere. Will Yelp post it? Who knows! But seriously, others ought to know. I guess it begin about a year and a half ago when I first received a call from the salesperson at Copiers NW asking what we wanted to do about replacing our copier. I told him we still had over a year left on the lease and maybe we would wait for a while as the "old" machine was still meeting our needs. It was all downhill from there, and, honestly, I shouldn't have ultimately purchased a copier from them. Here are some "highlights" from my abysmal experience: A reconditioned Canon copier which we first demoed was not in good working order. Bypass jammed with card stock, regular paper, labels, you name it, it jammed. It actually failed during the "training" they provide. The "trainer", our salesperson, didn't really seem to be that well versed on the product either. We later returned it during the demo period and we were back to square one. We then opted for a new copier. The new Canon delivered was wrong model. Strangely, it was a more expensive one. We insisted they come back and replace it with the correct model. They did. When above new copier was delivered, the technician used the IP address of our old copier. Understand we were still making lease and service contract payments on the old HP machine and now we were unable to use it while we were demoing the new one. Also, since the technician used a work-around to get the printer driver installed we were not able to use the copier from all of our workstations. Also, we were unable to scan to the network on the new Canon, so we had to use a USB thumb drive to get PDF files from the copier to our computer for about a week. This cost us a lot of time and I.T. money. We are still receiving bills for the original lease even though we paid Copiers Northwest to buy out the original lease three months ago. In fact, we told them a month ago about this very issue and we just got another one. Sadly there are a lot of other little issues here and there that make the whole experience just awful from a customer service standpoint. To their credit, their IT specialist (not the one who messed up the IP address) was very patient and knowledgeable. Also, whenever I call for service, Copiers Northwest has always responded quickly and the problems have been solved. Aside from that, it sure seemed like they made just about every mistake they could in the whole getting a new copier process. No one was ever rude or mean per se, just incompetent: calls weren't returned when they were supposed to be, delivery dates were mismanaged, etc. Once I am out of the current one year contract I probably won't be renewing, and I certainly won't be buying or leasing another machine from them. People reading this might want to use a competitor or consider purchasing a machine and letting your IT folks worry about the maintenance. read more

We recently signed a contract with Copiers Northwest after a previous lease ended with another company. Their pricing was competitive and the salesman, Robert Putrick, was professional, helpful, and friendly. I was anxious about the setup and how long the copier would take to set up in the middle of a busy work day, but both the delivery and setup went so smoothly, we didn't miss a beat. Okay here's our problem, we once had a good experience with Copiers NW, however, following a recent bid process - government agencies get 3-5 bids prior to signing a contract - we now have a new company for the next 5 years. Trying to make the transition from Copiers NW to the new company has been a nightmare. The buyout information is not in alignment with our contract, terribly high in comparison to the 6 months left on the contract. The company has not provided us a buyout amount after many requests. Currently, we are paying for our new copier and the disconnected Canons sit in the hallway waiting on buyout and pickup response. What a reputation to leave ..... there is another bid process in a few years!! Blew it! read more

We have a copier/printer from Copiers NW in our studio that we use every day. It hardly ever has problems, but if it does, one phone call to the service line gets it fixed. We recently had a piece fall off due to normal use, and a friendly tech was here the next day to repair and clean it.
