But anyway. I've thought for a long time that the interior of any Office Depot was a bit dusty and empty looking - in spite of being full! And this location is no different. The furniture in the back especially looks kind of haphazardly arranged. Not very appealing if you are hunting for office furniture. I had fun browsing the school supplies, though, and picked up some cute items, including a fuzzy pencil holder, for a friend. Staff. Must note that the staff here is great. Very helpful, friendly, ready to answer questions, always with a smile. Keep up the great work!

I wanted to get an extra wireless keyboard and mouse so I could have one at work and one at home and wouldn't have to carry them around. I asked about them in the store and was led to a plastic box that was filled with identical wireless keyboard mouse combos. I picked one out and asked where the chip was. This should have tipped off the clerk that I was not tech savvy. As I suspect many of there customers are not. She told me the toggle was under the mouse. I got the set home and did not see a toggle under the mouse (latter I found out she was saying dongle). I looked in the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and did not see it. I called the them and was told to check the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and once again I didn't see it. I was told that this would be a once in a lifetime that a chip was not with the keyboard. I brought the unit in and we looked in the keyboard battery area next. Then we looked we looked at the mouse and they pointed out a built in dongle compartment in the battery chamber of the mouse. I was never told there could be a built in compartment when I was in the store or later on the phone. I have since find some YouTube videos that explain where to find the dongle. This tells me I'm not that only one to have trouble finding it.

After I inevitably returned the item (mismatched resolution of monitor and computer) to a Senior Associate, he asked me "was anything wrong with the item?". The jerk walks in before I can speak and says "NOTHING. HE JUST DIDN'T WANT IT". I explained it didn't fit the purpose. This is not the only place I see this trend of young associates being rude and obnoxious. Brick and Mortar stores close over things like this. If there's no Capital Investment firm to back RePC, they may follow suit of other companies soon. Too bad. Customer Service is the key to success, people. Hire better.

Came in here looking for shipping/packing tape and the customer service rep I ask just started working there so he didn't know where it was. (No big deal, not his fault) I walk around the store looking for the packing tape and finally found it. Went to pay it but there was an older lady asking every question imaginable. (Again, not their fault it's just part of being old.) then I found out how much the tape was and I looked online to see what it cost at Amazon. Come to find out Amazon was almost half the price, I get 2 more rolls and I will be able to get the packing tape by tomorrow. (Same brand, same everything.) needless to say, I left the store and bought it on Amazon.‍‍‍‍
