Alpha 1 is the Bests I raced over there and they got my Photos for Canadian Citizenship done in about 10 minutes right before closing, both digital and print. Very friendly, efficient and went out of their way to help. They knew all the specifications, and exactly what to do. Inexpensive too. read more

We came in for better Passport photos after we tried to use our iPhones. You are going to have to live with that passport for 8 years, pay $40 for a decent photo! read more

Alpha 1 Photo & Studio - iPhone vs Alpha 1 - Real Estate Photography Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

We needed some passport photos for our newborn and they were so nice, accommodating and patient with out 3 week old. Turnaround time was quick and we were able to hang around for the pictures to be printed; they were also emailed promptly after the appointment (by purchase). Would definitely be coming back for other official photos need. read more

My son won a music competition and would be playing at a concert soon, so he was in need of some musician headshots for the program. He normally didn't like to take photos, so we couldn't find any good photos and had to ask for a professional photographer's help. I sent a request via Yelp to multiple photo studios, and Alpha 1 was one of the vendors who responded timely. The quoted price was also quite reasonable among all the estimates I had received. Besides, Alpha 1 was able to fit us into their schedule within a short timeline. That's why we chose Alpha 1. There were one big studio and one small studio. We used the big one. There was also a corner with a big mirror and all the hair styling products in case you need to adjust your hair styles. Sebastian was a great photographer to work with. He made the photo session so fun and my nervous teen son was able to smile in the photos. Originally we were planning to get 2 photos only for the concert program purpose, but when we saw the photo proof, we had a hard time to select, not because we couldn't find any good one, rather there were too many good photos that we couldn't decide which one. We ended up selecting 10 photos. Every photo was so good that it was difficult to choose. But we can't afford buying all the photos, so we just picked 10 of them. We had a wonderful experience with Alpha 1. Next time when we need any photo, this will be our go-to place. I would highly recommend Alpha 1 for any photo needs. read more

We needed passport photos and tried elsewhere already. This place was recommended online. She was quick with the photos while paying attention to what we wore, how we looked, and all the myriad of requirements with the passport photos. Photos took 1 hour to print and we went out to lunch and they were ready when we were back. The shop itself had knickknacks everywhere and both my kids and I wish we took more time to see everything. 100% would return and recommend. read more

Higher prices but this studio is very experienced and knows exactly what specifications are needed, especially for things like Canadian passport or citizenship photos. Had an infant photo done there so I did schedule an appointment - we were in and out in 5 minutes. Would recommend over neighborhood pharmacies (ie. Walgreen's or CVS) especially for non-US passport photos. read more

Great place to get professional photos for a reasonable price. It's easy to schedule an appointment and photos were shared quickly online for me to pick the best ones to buy. read more

Really fast and very pleasant. Just needed a passport photo but they treated me like I was important to them. Thank you. Great photo btw

Great place. I went here with the my baby for a passport picture. A lot of parking Fast turned around Professional and great with kids The owner has an adorable dog which seems to be a Portuguese water dog, really cute I did not make an appointment to go before read more

These guys are amazing! We went for US Passport photos for newborn and adults and were done within 30 mins! For our little one, they kept him in a cushioned white soft clothed seat and took the picture. It felt safe and comfortable to see them take care of the Newborn while taking the pic. As a novice photographer, I liked the entire experience! A bit expensive but worth the $ spent! Have a look at their website before you take the picture, they have well laid out process & tips for a good photograph. read more

Highly recommend for anyone looking to get Canadian passport photos. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and fast turn around for pickup. Most importantly photos turned out great and I had no trouble getting my new passport using them. read more

Squeezed me in last minute for passport photos of my kids. They were so nice and gave them stickers. The owner even ran the pictures out to my car knowing I had 3 kids in car seats when I came to pick up. Great people running a great business! read more

Quality! Friendly! a little bit more pricey than your typically Walgreens but SO WORTH IT! They have a mirror station to double check yourself before sitting down and taking the picture and you'll have to wait 45 mins for the photos but it's close to food/markets so the wait is easy. Very happy and she has her dog there to greet you :) read more

Probably the best passport photos I've ever had. And such lovely owners. I brought my young child and they were able to get the child to look the right place. One note - the photos aren't instant. It takes usually about 45 minutes to process so come in, take the photos, then head to Fred Meyer or Trader Joe's, go shopping and swing by when you're done. read more

I highly recommend Alpha 1 for your photo needs. This is my 3rd time getting headshots with Alpha 1 and they never disappoint. Quick, quality work at a fair price. read more

I had my photo taken here for my passport and they were SO quick and SO professional. They had every little thing you may need and made suggestions for the best picture. After 10 years of having the worst picture of me I was so happy with the result. Would pay again over and over for this quality. read more

Absolutely, 100% painless. The photographer was familiar with both application and renewal passport photos. They handle a lot of different countries. Very friendly and quick. We just walked in. After we grabbed lunch and came back, the pix were cut out, stamped, and ready to go. I didn't mind the price because there was no question about getting the required pictures, same day. We paid about $75 for two people. read more

Fast service, but after 40 min wait, these photos turned out to be the ugliest passport photos, hands down. He took so many shots, one would think he was trying to select the best. I'll have to find another photographer. Funny thing is they ask you to fill out the visitors log. I'm not really sure why. I could have gotten the same "quality" ugly photos cheap @ Walgreens. Nobody expects the passport photos to be great, but to be stuck for 10 year with ugly photos on your passport, and these are the ugliest I ever had. Also, they speak Chinese between themselves and laugh @ customers who complain about photos read more

When I did an internet search for Passport photo near Bellevue, seem like this is the one many people go. They change $26 for 2 passport pictures, where at AAA just a few blocks away, only cost $13. This place is overpriced and photos take minimal of 45 minutes to be ready. My husband needs a couple of passport style photos to apply an international driver's permit/license. We just learned that AAA does it all, and much faster (the photos were ready within 5 minutes) and way more reasonable cost (for 2 tiny usually "ugly" pictures). read more

I rarely write reviews these days with my busy life. But the service and excellence of the photography for my US passport and Canadian citizenship done by Alpha 1 was just amazing, and definitely warranted one!! They were friendly and courteous and did a great job, their turnaround time was also excellent. See the passport photo that I had done 10 years ago, and the photo Alpha 1 did, just phenomenal! I have gotten so many compliments with my new photo. I can honestly say that I am so happy to have these new photos on my passport and citizenship card for the next 10 years. A big, big thank you to Alpha 1 for photo your awesome work! And to everybody on Yelp, I highly recommend them for your governmental photo needs! read more

Alpha 1 Photo & Studio - Real Estate Photography Near Me - Bellevue, Washington

Found Alpha 1 through Yelp after taking a particularly hideous passport photo at another photography store. This "before" photo was after two tries! I was livid that it was SO bad, and not color corrected and was NOT going to tolerate that being my ID photo for the next 10 years! I called Alpha 1 and was graciously told they take walk-ins so I zipped right over. Sebastian was a pro and helped me get some better angles--I do have them, they're just not easy. I had a fresh haircut and decent makeup on for this. Price also included a bit of retouching to color correct my skin tone. See the difference???? I'll recommend Alpha 1 for passports for sure but also for their other services because they clearly care you don't look like a troll. read more

Went for passport photo! They did nothing at all to make sure your photo looks good! Ended up spending lots of money still with a bad photo! I think the main photographer was out when we were there! It was a lady who took the photo!!! Don't go there for passport photo! read more

Good fast service, friendly and knowledgeable about Canadian passport photos. Would recommend for Canadian and US passport photos.

Past ID experiences were at chain drugstores or camera shops, where an employee snaps a couple shots under harsh store lighting, leaving you with a mediocre, often "ugly", oddly tinted, photo. This was the first time going to an actual photographer, and though it cost a little more, it was worth it for a document that you have to use for years Fast and friendly, they ensured you get a good, color corrected photo. The actual process took under 15 minutes for two people, digital copies are provided, and you can order additional physical copies for an extended period of time if needed. read more

In town for my brothers wedding and this is the first time in years my immediate family has all been together, so we wanted to get family photos done. Sebastian and Betty we so sweet to work with from the booking process to the shoot itself. They made the experience of taking photos warm and comfortable, compared to the sometimes awkward experience you can get with some photographers. Sebastian was also extremely patient as we were trying to get ourselves together as we were switch poses. They both are truly care about your experience there and highly recommend them to anyone! read more

The best passport photo studio!! The owners are super nice and attentive. Previously I went to couple different studios in Seattle and Alpha 1 is better in every way. If you need passport photos, this is your spot! read more

Just got my passport photos taken by Alpha 1 and am very pleased / impressed with the result - very polite, courteous staff and a very professional level of service. These photos are far superior to are the amateur snaps taken by staff at Walgreens or Bartells with an iPhone - they are worth the $$$ stretch. I am happy to recommend Alpha 1 for passport photos and from the look of their professional studio I'll bet they'd do a 1st class job for weddings and other special situations & events. read more

Excellent service. Passport sized photos never looked this good! Skip Fedex, take a drive & head to alpha1 for your photo needs :)

Outstanding photo studio and very quick and amazing service. This is my goto place now for photos.

They never fail me when it comes to passport photos. They know the regulations of what is needed for a proper passport photo and I can always count on them to make sure that all the expectations are met. I went in there with my newborn child for her passport photo and they were ready to get that ONE legit passport no matter how long it took. They were so patient and so thankful for their work! read more

Updating since my first review 6 years ago! I still use Alpha 1 for all my photo needs - just recently went for some photos for a Visa application, and as usual, was greeted warmly, and managed to get my photos taken immediately. Came back about an hour later and the photos were meticulously printed. I believe you can get both a physical and digital copy of the pictures. The prices are really not bad for the area, and given the quality and attention they give you based on the type of photos you want, it's worth it! So happy to see this business being consistent! read more

I came here back in August needing Canadian passport pictures. The photographer knew exactly what dimensions to use and stamped the back of one of my photos with the correct info, according to the application requirements. The photos were excellent - very even toned, crisp and clear. I sent my passport application off and it was approved! It was a totally smooth process thanks to Alpha 1! The price is a bit higher than going to CVS or Walgreens but it's worth it for the attention to detail and confidence knowing your passport will not be denied due to poor quality photos. Very reliable and professional - thank you! read more

I had an urgent need for an updated professional portrait on a short timeline (2 days or less). They were able to fit me in on an expedited timeline, and Sebastian did an amazing job taking several photos in a mix of outfits; the proofs gave me an ample spread to choose from for the final copies. I am very happy with the amount paid for services received. Would recommend. read more

They are a small family business with a big heart! They did a fantastic job with my passport photos! She really took her time to make sure my head tilted the right. The photo angles were much better than any I've taken at Walgreens or Costco and no weird shadows! Prices were reasonable and it was nice to have a good passport photo in the book for the next 10 years! My friends have gone to them for a baby photo shoot and they looked beautiful! I could see they had a lot of good props and toys to make sure babies are happy! I would recommend them for anyone needing photos taken in Bellevue! read more
